Berdekatlah...kepadaku...

Show Samsons tadik memang besh gila!!!! It was awesome!

It started off a horrible day tapi ended up pretty fine. First, rush ke Shah Alam amik my Guess watch yang tertinggal kat hotel kat Johor Bharu a month ago. Sentimental value punya pasal, sebab my sis gave that to me for my Christmas present about three years ago, risau nak mampos bila went missing. Lega when the hotel called and asked if I had lost my watch.

Lousy thing was that the night manager yang call aku, janji nak send to me tak penah get back to me, so si Zaff yang kebetulan interview kat sana smalam, amikkan tuk aku. Thanks a lot babe... walaopon masa ko call aku tuh kira kaco sebab aku tengah lepak ngan bebudak Samsons, especially menganyam ketupat gituh ngan si Bams, ko di maapkan. Matilah... hope you get the job, though I am going to miss a friend being so far and all.

Anyway, dari Shah Alam, aku pun rush ke Ampang sebab nak jemput someone. Leh dari Shah Alam aku salah masuk highway, naik yang ke Putrajaya/Cyberjaya. So where did I end up?

In f***ing Putrajaya. Bila nak kuar balik, I found myself in Shah Alam, yang exit ke Puchong. In other words, I wasted close to an hour. Damn!

Sebab tengok jam masa uh da 8.15pm, aku pun call dia mintak dia amik cab je jumpa kat PGRM. I got there about the same time dia sampai, which was a relief walaopon cam kesial sebab line DiGi aku wat hal, nak call cross network wat masaalah lak. Keji lah!

Tap tup dia muncul depan aku. Risau gak sebab dia minat satu dua lagu Samsons je, risau dia bosan. Pushed those thoughts aside sebab aku nak enjoy.

It was almost bloody 9.30pm before Samsons naik pentas, sebab had to layan si bangang punya 6ixth Sense yang sumbang, melalak cam orang tak betui. Honestly... camna nak puji band band kita. Bebudak Samsons baru dua tahun more or less, which is the same age as Sixth Sense. Still Sixth Sense lemau!

Their sound was horrible, the musicianship tahap kenduri kahwin, and the vocals? Mak aih! Cam pontianak mana mengilai! Either tak dengar haper atau menjerit memekik cam kena sunat kali kedua. Azab tahap gaban! Gaban pon tak azab camtuh...

In comparison, the moment Samsons came on and exploded onstage woth my FAVOURITE track of the moment in Seandainya (yang ramai tatau sebab first track dari second album Penantian Hidup), they were just a pleasure all the way around.
They were tight, and Bams was just amazing. Dari sora dia, gaya dia...lincah lonjat sana kemari, tapi tak cam beruk... too bad I couldn't say the same thing for vocalist 6ixth Sense yang sebelom ni cam kena serangan epilepsi.

Jangan kata aku tak patriotik sebab aku tak puji band kita sendiri... da burok performance... camna nak improve kalao tak sedar. Camni ke nak lawan band Indo? Jauh lagik nih...

Anyways.... sayang my favourite in Perbedaan takde, though thank goodness Luluh ada, which is another fave from Penantian Hidup.

Since aku minat the second album (and hate the first), it was a reverse situation sebab aku sing along to the songs from the second, while orang mainly sang along to favourites cam Naluri Lelaki and Kenangan Terindah which was so so jer bagik aku.

I actually ran out for a smoke masa Kenangan Terindah sebab phobia ngan kenangan yang tak indah langsung yang dikaitkan ngan lagu tuh. Heh...

But this is definitely a kenangan yang indah (ter ke tak tatau lagik la) sebab not only aku ngan someone, I really enjoyed myself despite a few irritants here and there.

Paling besh time lagu haper ek... most of it actually bila peminat peminat Indonesian kat sini melonjat beriya and built a human pyramid. They got attention of everyone with their antics. Kelakar pon ada tengok nak make it as high as possible (three men high).
Tapi yang aku nak gelak tuh ada one part tuh, yang meka built a pyramid, and it kind of semi-tumbled down. Nampak cam tugu negara lak ngan ada yang terlentang while ada sorang tuh holding his hand up trying to maintain a balance to avoid the whole thing just crashing down.

The other best part of the whole night was masa Seandainya...Bams yang tau aku suka gila lagu tuh saw me singing along (not too hard sebab we were quite upfront and I was the only one banging and singing along) pointed at me and winked. Heh... merasalah aku dari dulu mencik Samsons dan jadik fan.

Matilah jadik groupie lak ni.

Should I mention that lagu tertentu menjadi lebih istimewa ngan kehadiran seseorang?
Rasa nak sangat ikut meka ke Johor for their show there.

Erm... anyway, spent the remainder of the night with some friends, and erm... someone yang for some reason... treated me better (housemate ada tegur ke nih)

Well, apapon, aku malas pikir. Take it slow, and enjoy the ride...kan?

Nak tidur dulu. Esok lak ada Ikon Asean... so we see how that goes.

Ingat, aku wat ala live coverage, blogging from PICC the showdown antara Jaclyn Victor (Malaysia), Vina Morales (Philippines) and Judika (Indonesia).

Kategori ni aku ramalkan Jac akan juara, but then again it all boils down to performance and how they impress, so tu cuma prediction jer. But Vina ni membosankan (though visually stunning I have to admit) while si Judika ni, no competition langsung. Lagikpun, mamat yang second placed for Indonesian Idol ni... entah la... lemau semacam in comparison.

As for bands, it's OAG (Malaysia), against Tahta (Indonesia) and Kjwan (Philippines).

My prediction?

Kjwan, because they are just mind-blowing! I hope OAG can pull off an upset though and prove Malaysian bands kick ass. Tahta? Buang masa je... lain la kalao Samsons yang dapat jadik wakil Indonesia.

PS - Aku tak pasti meka semua nak nyanyi apa. Tapi Jac ada bagitau Gemilang will be one, while the other segment will be a medley of three P. Ramlee songs. Walaopon dia tamau cita sangat, yang aku leh bagitau, Getaran Jiwa and another two.
OAG will be singing Nawaitu, Beautifool dan Dayang.
