Make me wanna shout!

Had so much fun at the Shout! Awards malam tadi. Thanks to everyone over at 8TV as well as the Media Prima family for the improved hospitality this year. Slight glitches here and there but a pretty impressive show nonetheless.

I didn't focus on much and had too much fun to recount anything else. Heh...

The post party was whacked though as it was too packed and hot. Didn't snap too many pics.

That's Nora Danish dan Betty Rahmad. Cantik kan dua-dua? Sujud! Natural beauties. I can't stand women who pile on too much make-up and I think both of them memang au naturel pon lawa gila.

Jap.. mai main teka teki sikit. Kasut artis manakan ini? Tinggi wo! I think we're talking five inches easily (could be more)

Sambil korang jawab, ni snappy pic Vanessa dan Moots dari Popshuvit. Can't wait for this happy couple to get hitched next year.

Funnyman of the night - Zizan. Orang nak kata lawak kampung ke haper ke, he was easily the funniest man of the night and spontaneous!

Dah dapat jawapan kasut sapa tadi? Ni dia, supermodel of the world gituh pose sakan! Congratulations to Yuna for being the big winner of the night.

Apart from her music, I applaud Yuna because she does have good fashion sense. In fact, I think girls in tudungs can now feel stylist because of someone like Yuna yang tutup abih, tapi tetap maintain rupa stylo and edgy.

Not the easiest of a mix, but still it so works!

And finally, last but not least - 6ixth Sense. They won for Mobile Artist of the Year. Tang download tuh meka memang vast!

First official

Before we begin this posting, mai kita sambung trivia sikit. Da dua kali kita main game ni, so ni third time. See if you guys dapat jawapan.

Siapakah artis yang tuan empunya kasut Gucci ni? Ramai sungguh geng Gucci ku.

Ok... jawapan ujung entry as usual.

Anyway, hari ni ada event. Sampai-sampai parking nampak nih.

Hah... amik ko! Kau lah dewa yang aku puuuuujaaaaaaaaaaaa *nyanyi ala Alyah*.

Sebenarnya sehari sebelom posa kan kaum Cina masuk Hungry Ghost Festival. Sebulan gak cam puasa. So ni adalah upacara.

Sambung cita. Destinasi buka puasa ari ni?

The former Heritage Mansion, skang under new management da jadi Vanity Mansion. Cantik sungguh tempat ni skang.

Opulent, decadent... siap ada karaoke da skang, bukan je club da. The karaoke rooms atas temanya seven deadly sins. Lawa bilik bertema dia.

Tap ari ni functon lain. Tuk buka puasa Universal Music.

Actually, aku ada sebut ada good news. Hah.. ni dia. This event actually marks the first time our company, J Squared, perkongsian antara aku dan Juan, yang juga wat pelbagai corporate event wat project with Universal Music Malaysia.

J Squared kini consultant conpany for Universal and its domestic side, run by Rumpun Records. Sebab aku full time entertainment journalist, aku takde sangkut paut sangat (selain jadi co-owner company sendiri) as Juan is head of the project. Kira account dia la.

Bangga sungguh actually dapat kepercayaan dari Universal dan Rumpun as being part of the Universal Music Group is an honour as UMG is the biggest music group in the world.

So right now, company kita juga tolong handle 6ixth Sense, Ana Raffali, Jes Ibrahim, Klangit dan ramai agik. And of course tuan punya kasut Gucci di atas.

Tu Ana dan bebudak 6ixth Sense. Jap.. lari topik sat. Ni Pah yang bersama ngan Universal dan Maliah dari Kosmo!. Cam kembar dua ekoq nih. Walaopon ramai orang industri slalu cakap muka meka sama, ni first time meka jumpa snappy.

Pas abih lega sungguh. Bangga dan berterima kasih kengkawan semua meramaikan majlis ni, termasuk dari media dan bloggers.

Pas abih had to take a quick detour ke Andalus. Lapar! Event sendiri, tak dapek makan sebab sibuk.

Jap.. masa lalu Ampang Park nampak kedai ni. Memula ingat franchise Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa. Rupanya?

Apa rasa abang? Masin ke? Tu kalao tak mandi... heh!

Eh dah... dah.. balik soalan tekaria tadi. Pemilik kasut Gucci di atas yang aku suka gila (dan da penah letak blog pon sebab usha yang belang ijo merah kat Gucci Pavilion) adalah...

Tuh dia. Lama tak jumpa Anuar. Album nak kuar da. You can get it soon, from Universal Music. Wat skang, single pertama dari album pon akan berkumandang kat radio soon.

Tajuk single pertama ialah Ku Berjanji Karna Cinta.

Da ada single Anuar dalam tangan. Ni limited release, for radio je, so sorry guys but memang not for sale. Tapi korang tunggu je kuar kat radio.

Raya!!! Raya!!! Raya!!!

Iyolah ko pepandai je nak headline entry raya katanya. Posa pon lom sparuh jalan feeling nak raya. Maksud aku raya... semalam ke rakaman Melodi Raya wat kat PWTC.

Masuk je Dewan Tun Hussein Onn, amik ko... decor ala kampung. Teringat 'Kampung Nikmat', perkampungan yang diwujudkan tuk wedding Ning Baizura. Cuma Melodi Raya ni takde kambing dan ayam hidup je.

Yang pentingnya...dalam dewan... selamat datang ke Melaka!!!

Yang artis sendu nan hado pon sibuk bak enam orang perhal?

Macam-macam lah... penganjur beradab tak sampai hati nak refuse entry, tapi kesian penganjur kedua majlis kena layan orang tak reti malu semua nih. Konon pose sana pose sini gila glam nak makan free bagai.

Oh well... busuk la nama sendiri.

Poetry in motion

Hari ni memang seronok gila! Walaopon start awal.. tapi got to catch up with friends sambil bekerja.

The day started early sebab sudahpu janji untuk photography and interview session bersama Dayang Nurfaizah dan Marcell. Dah lama gak tak jumpa Marcell ni so it was also a reintroduction to him. Ye la... lain la kalao band Indo aku memang more friendlier.

But once the photography got underway, it was fun all the way.

Celah sesi photography kat Alibi, ada lak kucing ni dok posing merata. Alahai.. comeinya! Nama dia Adam. Aku nak amik pic dia with the hood over his head, sebab baju dia tuh ada hoodie, tapi dia nih energetic gila tak leh dok diam.. so nih jer sempat snap.

Anyway, sat down pastuh abihkan interview. Tujuan sesi nih about Dayang and Marcell nya collaboration bertajuk Sayang - which most of you would have heard (kalao bukan dengar radio yang asik dok promosi Kau Dan Aku tapi susah nak main lagu artis lain).

I love the song! If you guys dengar bebetul, there's almost (but not quite) what sounds like a sample of Michael Jackson's Human Nature ala ala SWV's Right Here. Me likey... smooth 90s groove-esque tanpa actually being left back in time.

Yang pentingnya... borak borak semua, went on to Blackberry lak sebab Marcell nak email aku lagu terbaru dia nak bagi dengar. Terus menjadi antara orang pertama masuk Blackberry Messenger list aku.

Banyak gak dapat borak - tapi sebab immediately pastuh ada one more event, wrapped things up and headed to KL from Damansara where I was. Headed straight to Dragonfly - the old Orange club for Nidji nya pelancaran album, Let's Play. Kalao korang ingat last aku jumpa Nidji masa ke Bali for Soundrenaline where they performed an AWESOME set.

Pas abih bebudak went through a quick sound check. Meka ni pro gila. Lajus je speed through everything and rectified what they had to.

Pas abih.. gerak gi makan. Sebab a few hours later baru meka akan perform bersama Aizat, 6ixth Sense dan beberapa artis Universal Music yang baru.

Memula ingat nak ke Pavilion melantak. Tapi atas invitation kengkawan Universal, ikut ler bebudak Nidji and their management nak gi makan.

Destination?

Atas pilihan bebudak Nidji sendiri - nasi ayam Hainan kat Jalan Bukit Bintang tuh. Merasalah meka datang KL kena merasa nasi ayam tuh sebab takde katanya yang camni kat Jakarta.

Tuh dia si Giring dalam letih sempat tuh makan banyak. Pas kita abih, we moved back to the venue to have a drink (ngan some friends and then terserempak ngan Nabila and friend - which kalao korang ada follow Twitter aku nampak la pic) while bebudak Nidji balik hotel jap berehat and freshen up.

A couple of hours later, it was showtime. A few artistes kicked off the line-up of the night. Finally the big names came out. Beginning with 6ixth Sense.. and then Aizat. I think they did three songs each kalao tak silap aku.

And then it was on to the main show. The boys performed six or seven songs in total. Maybe more. I lost count sebab aku dok sibuk headbanging. Suka suka suka!!!! Forget all the other songs (including all time fave Laskar Pelangi). Aku tunggu Sang Mantan je. Fell in love with it masa meka perform it kat Soundrenaline. Memang enjoy gila.

Ended the night, said goodnight to the boys. Sempat tambah contacts list aku kat Blackberry (matilah addict sungguh aku nih).

Pastuh gerak nak gi jumpa kawan-kawan. Banyak gak gosip dapat.

By the way, kalao korang interested to know, Kris Allen - the American Idol will be in town this coming Monday! Woohoo! Yeay yeay! I like him, so definitely will be there. This, I believe is the first announcement of his coming here (almost sure.. but I could be wrong), so whatever it is, nanti aku confirm dates and such ASAP when I get more info.

Now, I just need to call it a night. Esok banyak article nak wat. Work piling up... not a good thing.

Oh by the way, sapa peminat Nidji (sapa bukan kena give them a try), aku akan upload several videos of their performance. Must see!
