Mondays...

After kelam kabut semalam, ari ni cam slow paced sikit. Tapi biasalah nak recuperate pas running around susah sikit.

Still, made it through the day, and when I was done, nak unwind sikit so ajak Vern nak dinner. Memula nak melantak kat kak Ara jer, though not really hungry, tapi last last dropped by iZZi, my fave place sebab ada oang tuh berangan nak feeling class kerana gila glam dari semalam (for an eternity actually) sebab da muncul TV pelbagai. Heh... buzzing katanya!

So we settled on my pizza (which was the Margherita - no meat), my garlic bread (minus the cream and corn soup yang tak muncul) and Vern's linguini.

Seperti biasa, nak makan dia sibuk na amik pic pelbagai dan aku dilarang nak makan selagi dia lum snap pics semua tuk posting kat blog dia.

Keji!

Sungguh bosan nak menunggu orang nak amik pic berzaman... so as the saying goes, 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em', so aku pun snappy skali. Termasuk orang tak betui tuh yang berejam posingkan makanan sampai sejuk bila time leh makan.
Keji seribu kekejian!!!

Merasalah by the time nak amik pic pizza, aku da wolf done one slice da so sorry ek pic pizza tuh kekurangan sikit. Tu akibat kelaparan bila nak sibuk wat photoshoot pelbagai when you need to eat!

During our meal, in between my cigarettes and the bottomless ice lemon tea as well as needless conversation kes aniaya seseorang tu kenakan aku with the Indonesian staff (somehow asik Indonesian je kan lately)... calls went in and out.

So immediately after we were done, gerak ke area opis JKR kat Jalan Sultan Salahauddin mana ada shooting filem terbaru Tayangan Unggul Sdn Bhd, iaitu Apa Kata Hati arahan Saw Teong Hin, yang directkan Puteri Gunung Ledang tuh.

Saja je nak lepak ngan kengkawan Tayangan Unggul like Anita and Gaya.
Tengok cast semua ada cam Farid Kamil and Awal.

Borak tak lama, sebab masa tuh meka da wrap da, dan kami pun ikut ke lokasi seterusnya tul sambung sesi gossip to kill time.
Next stop... Istana Budaya. Well, in front of it anyway... sebab meka nak wat tracking shot sana.

Borak punya borak tunggu meka set up the tempat makan and all (standard la set ada caterers pelbagai).

A lot of gossip exchanged, none able to be shared here, more talk, and some magic tricks. Erm... perlu ke magic tricks tak perlu with my Bicycle Deck. Oh well... janji practise. Practise makes perfect katanya. Nama pun hobby.. sambil sambil jer.

And by the way, kalao ada yang da reti bab magic baca ni, so I admit I still suck big time, cause I'm still practising my throw vanish with the cards which looks quite slow motion kalao banding the actual execution needed, and in the process of improving my basic colour change yang masih sangkut sangkut dan very pecah lobang how it's done sebab tak cukup lancar.

Needless to say it was kind of fun to pass time, apart from quite interesting to learn some stuff on location, sebab you learn how to pick up how different directors, producers, production crew and so on work together on different sets.

Contohnya cam orang ni yang learnt that bab caterer kat set tuh, sebab dia set up meja dan kerusi, tak bermaksud ko leh order segalanya ala kedai mamak walaopon nampak cam meka. Merasalah la order teh panas or something like that, tercengat dak caterer tuh... "erm...bang...takde bang".

Kan naya je kena gelak ngan kita semua. Oh well, you learn something new everyday, so don't sweat it.

Dalam borak punya borak, the table got more cramped because more and more people joined us eventually, leading to more gossip and news and such being thrown about.

Teong Hin joined us... cause tuan director pun sempat curi tulang jap. So did Osman Ali yang mai lawat kawan kawan jua on location.

Two very talented directors selain Yasmin Ahmad yang aku memang salute abih!

Dalam kami borak tuh, we heard this screeching sound, of a car tengah emergency brake. This was immediately followed by a dull thud of a crashing sound yang memang very the horrific ala ala sound effect filem Sivaji The Boss (pepandai je kan padahal bukan layan pon).

My instinct masa dengar the screeching was to look up, and I saw this taxi yand Wira, being slammed from the back by this yellow Kelisa.

Yang pelik nya, mamat cab ni lak lari!! Kalao ikutkan Kelisa ni salah, so walaupon tak feeling nak soal siasat mamat Kelisa tuh yang dibantu krew produksi yang baik hati (seb baik dia ok cuma shocked je), aku dapat deduce yang mamat cab tuh main cilok gila gla atau dia memang takde lesen ke haper tamau berhenti. Amik ko... dok kat film set dapat tengok babak action pree.

It was getting really late, and I could feel myself getting spaced out, so decided to call it a night shortly.

Gawd... really kan. The older you get, the more messed up your biological clock becomes! Kalau dulu cukup ler tidur sejam dua semalam, skang aku perasan lapan jam pun tak cukup. Haiyo...
Adakah ni faktor umur ke? Damn getting old!!!

Ok...gotta go now... grandpa has to go beddy bye cause it's way past my bed time (gituhhhh!!!)
Before I end this posting, this are a couple of pics aku snap kat jalan masuk bahagian depan Istana Budaya. very the Misteri Nusantara kenapa ada sign board remuk depan tuh.

I mean.. couldn't they have taken it away or replaced it if there was really a need for it to be there. Again... first world infrastructure, third world mentality. Go figure...
