Plug you!

This is a wall socket. Nothing unusual about it at all.

Except that it's located tengah tengah food court KLCC.

What's so great about the location? Well... masa dok nak grab a quick bite with some friends sebab nak go over project details, aku pun cucuk la laptop aku nak charge. Da berkurun lama laptop ni (three or four years I think), so battery memang problem sikit kalao dibiarkan je, tak sampai lima minit da padam.

Lom pe-pe, dalam tak sampai seminit, mak ayam kertu beruniform suit bagai keja KLCC approach aku.

"Sir, takleh pakai these plugs."

"And why not?"

"Oh. Sebab sini banyak lampu. Kalao you pakai nanti overload nanti, blow a fuse susah kang."

"Oh camtuh ke... amazing kan KLCC ni?"

Unplugs laptop from said socket.

Opah ko! Aku tau la kalao cleaning meka pakai these power outlets. Motif those industrial cleaners leh pakai, laptop aku takleh? Kimak sangat alasan.

Macam la HP Compaq aku ni ala ala generator set nak wat shooting sampai leh drain ke overload the whole circuit of that floor. Cam kesial alasan camtuh.

Tapi sungguh ku tak sangka management KLCC kemut bagai sampai nak cucuk laptop pon takot cost naik - because that is the only explanation...

Final statement mak ayam peronda pacak pose tu, "If you really need to use your laptop, you can try Starbucks downstairs."

"Yes, the food is better there, and worth paying for, unlike the overpriced hawker food here."

Matilah ko!!!! Panas hati aku. Abih makan ngan friends, we sambung sesi kat Starbucks lak. Gi food court pon bebudak yang ajak. Aku takkan jejak tempat tuh agik. Sodih management KLCC sampai camni ada rule kata takleh pakai their power outlet. Aiyo...

Anyway, tujuan ke KLCC pas seharian memeningkan diri ngan keja, was to check on the location of the flash mob. Can't say exactly where it is, tapi pening sikit sebab nak adjust sikit posisi bebudak and all. A bit jittery on how it's going to go... hope everything flies... wat skang aku nervous sikit. No one's done this here... so tatau reception camna.

Today was supposed to be final rehearsal, but we having another run tomorrow. Lega sikit plans semua da complete as of the meeting tadik.

Sambil sambil kat KLCC, sempat check out the Maxis iPhone promo kat center court.




Dig that giant iPhone replica as a backdrop. Argh... I want an iPhone! Sapa nak bagik kat aku???

Anyway, sambil tunggu nak cukup kuota sebab ada yang lambat sampai, sempat feeling tourist snappy some pics. Saja je...
