Hari ni nak konsep photo entry je leh tak. Nak crop, edit, watermark bagai takes forever... so malas tulis panjang.

Ni photoshoot masa some random needless to mention event. Kita start ngan akak Sharifah Shahira aka She-Ra : Princess of Power. Heh.. tu yang aku panggil dia. Akak Shira.

She wasn't confortable in this baju, sebab baju ni penah dipakai Datuk Siti dan saiz tak kena bagai. Masa dia nak kuar photoshoot, dia nampak aku terus main cak cak.. dan cakap kuat-kuat "Happy Halloween!"! Motif? Heh... she's forever funny la. But especially so when someone has the ability to just laugh at themselves and not take themselves too seriously.

Then Vanidah Imrah. Akak Vee lak.

Doesn't she look a little Ziana Zain with the pulled back hair and all?

Ni.. Sharifah Amani kena keja kan ngan aku. Dia kan comel-comel. Aku mintak pose supermodel seksi sikit. Hasilnya?

For some reason, she looks a little Yasmin Hani here. And below, back to cutesy mode with Liyana Jasmay.

Ni Diana Danielle tengah jawab soalan pasal Farid Kamil. Merasalah!

And last but not least - our very own supermodel gituh. Nasha Aziz. Masa dia photoshoot everyone just whipped out their cameras and phone and shot her in action. I must say it's a pleasure to see her model sebab unlike many I've seen, she embodies what model is.

Setiap pergerakan kecil je, tapi impaknya pada gambar, amazing.

Magika

Went for the gala premiere of Magika tadik. Dah dua kali ku tonton, dari preview sebelom ni berbulan lalu.

Again, kalao nak mintak aku review, tak larat lor. Bukan aku entertainment website. I'm just a blog - a personal blog, which is just my personal opinion of things. Things that I choose to talk about.

But kalao nak mintak opinion aku, depending on what you're looking for. It's a good family popcorn movie. Nak kata rugi, takkan la kalao beli tiket. Would I buy a ticket to watch? Yes.

But maybe simply because aku memang suka tengok lakonan Ning sebagai Puteri Gunung Ledang, Ziana sebagai Nenek Kebaya, Nani dan Leya sebagai Bawang Putih dan Bawang Merah, Pak Nil sebagai Pak Pandir. Kira amusing la to have our own version of Alice In Wonderland with all our favourite artistes.

Star power memang kaw kaw. Ada Mawi, Diana Danielle, Maya Karin, M Nasir... aduh. Ramai la. Dah.. malas nak taip panjang. Baik korang layan pics at the premiere.

Kalao korang perasan aku perangai kemalasan menulis. Tapi ni sebab kesibukan aku so paham la ek. Pe pon, aku kejar rezek ni, blog peribadi ku menjadi tanggungjawab semakin berat nak maintain. Especially since aku lebih meriah ber-micro blogging via Twitter. So add aku sana lagik up to date.

But I am not getting rid of my blog, and I won't stop. But just that kekadang malas tulis panjang ke, ataupon lambat update, mintak paham-paham la ek. Heh...

Happy anniversary Vee and Shidi!

Ni bukak kek harijadi ek. No one's celebrating their kids' tenth birthday. Ni sebenarnya 'kek' ulangtahun Vanidah Imran dan Rashidi Ishak.

Tadi ada majlis sambutan their tenth wedding anniversary. Aku serious suka sangat couple ni. If you've read my previous posts, tau la camna aku adore si Vee ni. Dia ni memang besh, rilek dan sempoi, sesuai la ngan si Shidi.

Sedar tak sedar da 10 tahun meka bertahan. Praying that both of them will be together till their end of their days sebab they are indeed a beautiful couple. Bosan cita artis cerai pas berhari jek, ni sepuluh tahun pon going strong and kedua meka ni romantic as ever.

Since they were the focus of the night, tak dapek layan Vee dan Shidi sangat. So borak ngan someone yang da lama ku tak jumpa.

Tuh dia. Si Nani. Lama tak jumpa sangat. Sempat la borak panjang catch up, skali diselit ngan Leya. Heh. By the way, sapa fan Nani, dia da skang bergelar tuan director da tau. Her short film da complete. Tak sabar ku nak tengok.

Magika and the secret of Avatar

Tadik gi preview for filem Magika, the star studded musical from KRU Studios.

Pas finished my errands and all (and sempat wat shopping - Dolce & Gabbana be thy name), popped by Cineleisure to check out the much hyped movie.

And the verdict?

Honestly, it's going to be hard since a lot of comparisons will made against Alice In Wonderland, which is coming out in 3D and will have Johnny Depp.

Magika, not very imaginatively named, has Mawi.

Erm... but kena puji because of several reasons. So sebelom sesi carotan, mai aku bagi pujian dulu what I liked about the film which I think will help sell it.

Obviously first thing is the whole line-up of big names involved. Mawi, Ziana Zain, Ning Baizura, Sharifah Amani, Sharifah Aleya, Vanida Imran, Nabil, Diana Danielle, Adibah Noor, Aznil Nawawi, Datuk Jalaludin Hassan, Marsha Milan Londoh... so many. Pening nak namakan sorang-sorang.

Tarikan Magika gak will be because of the local references. Vee jadik Mahsuri, Marsha jadik Puteri Santubong, Mawi as Badang... you get the idea. So it's our own Alice In Wonderland where many of the characters are popular names in our own local folklore.

And Edry in the director's chair, aku kena puji.

After the horror of Cicakman 2 : Planet Hitam (bosan), Jin Nott (muntah darah)... aku tak tengok My Spy so takleh komen - it's nice to see finally that Kru are back on track with Magika.

It's wholesome family entertainment, and quite enjoyable.

Now the bad parts. The script walaopon holds promise wasn't executed to its full potential. The songs were mostly forgettable (I only seriously loved M. Nasir sebagai Naga Tasik Cini) and the lyrics were patchy, repetitive and tangkap muat.

Camera angles were dodgy and acting overall was not up to par.

And I know this is going to sound silly, but as much as I like Diana Danielle, she needed to wax her upper lip in the movie. Da berkumis da... to the point in the romantic scene with Mawi, aku rasa cam tengok Brokeback Mountain da.

Tapi kan, having said that, I would actually recommend people to watch Magika sebab it's worth the RM10 or so you're going to pay to watch.

No regrets, pasti.

Especially kalao ko nak bak anak ke anak buah ke anak sedara. Pacing of the film tak macam Jin Notti yang you wonder when the hell it's going to end.

Final verdict - Magika, a good watch and one of those few movies yang cater to a lot of people. It's not quite musical contoh, but it is a very good start for me to come up with more along the genre.

Kudos to KRU for it (susah aku nak cakap nih.. dan mesti ada yang tak caya)

Matilah!!!!!!! Upskirting gituh! Gelak cam babun jap. Aduh... lawak bodoh. Had an informal meeting after it was all over, which ended VERY late. Ni baru sampai umah nih.

Nampaknya for 2010, ramai kawan da bukak company sendiri. Semua dapat gabung networking. I like! Nak pose Adam dan Stacy la... bergabungggggg malaaatopppppppp!!!!

I Dreamed A Dream

Ok firstly aku nak komen sikit pasal all the hatred among fans, and yang overdose maki mencarut bagai. Not anywhere else but here in my Comments section.

Senang nak menyamar bawah nama Anonymous. To all the fan clubs, ignore idiots like that. No matter what fan club you are from - focus your energy on AFUNDI, not battling it with words. Cause no matter what you say, the numbers decide who stays or not.

Sapa nak teruskan hating, silakan je. Kalau da extreme, senang je aku nak trace balik IP and make a police report kalao keadaan terlalu serious. For now aku rilek je sebab da biasa time musim Akademi Fantasia, all the name calling and beautiful bahasa jiwa bangsat akan keluar dari mereka yang emo, atau mengambil kesempatan keadaan.

Be more intelligent, and show some restraint.

Meanwhile, for me, aku tak kisah atau hairan pun apa kutukan mai. Ok jerk. Cam la aku tak biasa stakat stok pengecut nak kuar kata-kata kesat mana pon. Hakikatnya, lagik layan, lagik membosankan. Cause it gets repetitious. It has for the seventh year now, and dah lali.

So nak berkomen kat sini, ignore any idiots yang nak provoke. Sebab memang ramai yang akan suka nak lagakan orang (biasalah... ada yang konon berwibawa pon leh wat camtuh)

So korang mai sini, layan Diari and you know what.. stir up a little drama pon takpe. But kalao nak tunjuk lagak sini nak main wat hal, that's just a sad call for attention, and I understand it must fill up your time to make you feel better. Kind of like validation for your existence.

But to my more intelligent friends yang masuk sini, ignore je.

No matter what fan club you are from, just chill.

Actually da ajak Vee join skali. But Nani and Leya just happened to be there, so they joined up. Faz tak sempat mai cause she claimed Cinderella needed to be back. Matilah lepas tengah malam jadik labu! Larik!

We just chilled and borak, with kak Vee especially on an upcoming project. It's going to be fun.

Things are going in full swing from next week. Tak sabar... lagu tema aku minggu ni is lagu I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables. Especially since apa aku impikan selama ni akan jadi kenyataan akhirnya! Yeay!

And sesuai ngan lagu ni sebab tengah meletop thanks to Susan Boyle yang surprised everyone in Britain's Got Talent who personifies talent, need not be recognised by just what's on the outside.

Three standing ovations - and within minutes of after being laughed at. Now that's what real talent does for you.

Ok la... korang seriously kena layan video ni, and trust me, it will move you to tears! Me going off to sleep with this song (from the original soundtrack recording) on repeat. Night...

Quickie

Ok aku nak fast entry sebab sibuk esok so nak tidur sangat. Selain kerja, esok ulangtahun bonda aku yang tersayang, so kalao leh nak celebrate kalao sempat.

Siang tadi lari ke Akademi seperti biasa. Selepas memastikan everything ok yang mana memerlukan aku, aku pun lari ke sidang akhbar pelancaran rancangan realiti baru Astro yang akan ditayangkan melalui saluran Astro Ria dan Prima. Camna tuh?

Well, rancangan yang di berikan nama Anak Wayang, akan fokus pada pencarian anak seni dalam bidang lakonan. Seperti konsep Akademi Fantasia, rancangan diari harian, yang di panggil Sesi, dan rancangan result akan di beri nama Pentas Anak Wayang. Bahagian rancangan realiti tuh, akan ditayangkan melalui Astro Ria, dan drama yang akan menampilkan peserta akan di tayangkan melalui Astro Prima.

Audition da nak mula in just over a week, beginning from Johor Bahru, followed by Penang and then Kuala Lumpur. Korang just keep an eye out for the announcements.

Kenapa aku ke sidang akhbar tuh? Sebab... teka dapa korang dapat layan tiap-tiap hari melalui Sesi?

Cantik ok rambut Faz skang... meletop!


Yeap. This was the announcement aku nak sampaikan pada peminat Fazura. She will be the host for diari harian peserta melalui Sesi. Yeay! Rusdi Ramli akan menjadi hos tuk Pentas Anak Wayang lak.

Aku tatau camna nak cakap agik. Aku tanak review at all. Cukup aku cakap (tanpa perasaan bangga at all malah melarikan diri sembunyi) aku nangis gila babiks!!! Malu siot! Abih je, kuar kredit aku larikan diri takot orang nampak mata aku bengkak! Merasalah!

Go alone kalao nak bebetul feel. Then bak yang tersayang kalao nak add feel. Then bak family so leh feel bersama. Besh gila! Pendek kata, wajib tengok ok! Rugi kalao tak.

I think this is Yasmin's most accessible movie yet, and ramai akan suka for sure. Yang pasti, aku warning dulu! Bak tisu lebih sikit. Faz seb baik ada tisu sekotak! Yang penting tiga panggung abih time gala premiere tuh, ramai yang kuar mata bengkak ok!

Yang pentingnya, pastuh meet kak Vee gi minom kat Rasta. Tapi syukur, mungkin rezeki bakal datang, kami dijoin oleh seorang CEO yang set up meeting tuk aku. Adalah benda nak bincangkan, yang sebenarnya aku da patah semangat tapi kini diberikan nafas baru kot.

Sampai rumah, layan Diari. Alamak... cam banyak isi kan Diari ari nih. Layan.... tapi ampun sapa nak carot sora aku tuh. Aduh... tapi kelakar kan. Aku suka Yazid ngaku dia mampu nitis airmata da skang walaopon dia tak feeling memula. Sebenarnya dia kata dulu dia heran orang nangis nangis ni dalam Akademi. Skali dok dalam... hambik ko! Heh... tu la. Bebudak nangis korang carot.

Korang tatau perasaan to be housed in quarantine with strangers yang memacam perangai dan peel away from your loved ones. The stress gets to you ok. Yang penting aku tengok bebudak sorang sorang da mula show their true personalities. Tunggu seminggu agik... ko tengok la diri meka yang sebenar.

Ok la.. sapa lom layan Diari... ni dia. Aku nak membuta da. Goodnight...
