Ni kat rumah kak Fati dan keluarga update nih sambil tunggu Sharifah Aleya, also known as Leya tuk salin baju dulu.
Nak recap, majlis akad nikah pagik tadik diadakan Masjid Al-Mukarramah, Bandar Seri Damansara. Upacara diadakan serentak sekali dengan dua pasangan lagik pasangan yang aku tak kenai pon.
Kelakar lak rasanya...but a first experience for me. Selain wedding Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza, tak penah aku jejak masjid nak saksikan akad nikah. Sweet sangat rasanya nak have the simple ceremony di masjid. Merasalah less is more.
Dengan sekali lafaz pada pukul 11.00am, Sharifah Aleya Syed Zainal Rashid Yahya, 24, sah menjadi isteri kepada Muhammad Ashraf Aasimudin, 27, dengan mas kahwin RM101.
It was a touching ceremony, tapi kesian dua agik pasangan yang nikah skali, sebab family members meka sibuk amik pic Leya dan Ashraf. Apa da... apa pon...seronok and simple ok la... Ni the shots of the event. Sebab banyak pic korang sabar jer ek tang loading tuh. Kalao ko line terus, especially if you're still using dial-up, jangan salahkan aku.
Belum langkah masuk masjid da nangis - kesian Nani lak jadi tukang mop airmata.
Nani pon mata leh tahan da. Sebelah tu their mom kak Fati and their dad Syed Zainal in the songkok.

The happy couple
After we finished, kami pun ramai-ramai konvoi gerak ke family home meka which was about less than five minutes je driving distance. Memang majlis serba sederhana hari ni, tuk kaum keluarga dan closest family friends.
Nothing extravagant. Wang hantaran was RM10,000, and hantaran was the more expected tujuh from the groom's side berbalas sembilan from Leya's side.
More pics at home where the makan beradap, and also a multi cultural touch of the Chinese tea cermeony to respect the parents and elders diadakan to respect the Chinese side of their family.
