Finally... the man is here in the flesh!

We had the Adam Lambert press conference today. A little bit boring simply cause everyone was told not to question on sensitive issues (homosexuality/PAS). Boring compared to the no-holds barred interview I had with him over the phone. Also because some journalists who were acting like fans screaming into the microphone (unprofessional really, especially with limited time for the PC - and since selected fans were also in and decided to read a poem or some shit wasting more time)

But here are some pics for fans of Adam. Sorry, again as usual Im not a pro photographer. Everything was taken with my Blackberry.

That last pic looks better, right? Anyway, I got to talk with Adam for a very short while between the photocall and told him I was the one who interviewed him on the phone a few days ago and he was nice as he remembered.

And before you could say "PAS!" I whipped out the cover of my For Your Entertainment - Tour Edition cover, and Adam signed it for me. With my name of course.

My nieces are going to be so pissed at me. Heh! I'll update about the concert tonight in tomorrow's entry!

He's here...

So Adam arrived today. Not much I can say except I'm deaf! Screaming girls everywhere. The man may be gay, but he seriously has 99% heterosexual female following.

The woman he walked out of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport arrival hall. I think all the glass surfaces within a 2km radium just exploded from the screeching and shrieking! And the mad rush to get photos and attempts of fans to get autographs was crazy (no one got any autographs though)

Yup... that's Adam in all black and beanie and sunglasses. These were the best pictures I got of him. Sad isn't it?

Adam looks tired and aged. Wow... this must be what the rock and roll jet setting does to you.

Esok will be better cause we're having a press conference. I'm going to see if there's anything he'll add to what we've already talked about.

Breathe again

Before the craziness of Adam Lambert being in town tomorrow, hari ni adalah hari siapkan keja apa yang patut and sambung paperwork and proposals bagai tuk company.

Very inspired for now. Aku harap idea-idea yang selama ni mampu dijual dan diterima client-client aku terus diterima and tak putus-putus. Anugerah dari Tuhan yang bukan semua mampu and I am grateful for this gift.

So no long entries today (cam la aku slalu long entry kebelakangan ni kan).

But trust me guys, things will be back to meroyan mode tulis pepanjang by next week or so sebab masa tu banyak benda aku da settle da.

Minggu lepas da abih transition week, this week is settling in week. So next week, it's my getting things in order week before hopefully by November and all, routine aku akan lebih tersusun and blogging pon akan kembali normal.

Setakat ni I will blog each day - cuma mungkin ada yang akan backdate so maapkan je la. Tertekan masa gituh.

Wowed

Remember I told you guys about the postponed Adam Lambert interview. Well, it was on today, with Adam talking on the phone from there before his show there tomorrow.

It was amazing. I have new found respect for him and how he approaches his craft. We initially had fifteen minutes but the interview stretched to half an hour and it was simply because we ran out of things to ask since we ran through everything with such ease.

Initially he sounded a bit uncomfortable, which I put it down to him being one of those artistes who hated the normal questions he hears everyday over and over and over again.

And true enough, as we warmed up - he was on fire!

I will upload the recording of the interview in a few days (it must run in the paper first) and then you guys can see what I mean. So I won't say anything else about it except - WOW!

Pas abih keja dan sebagainya, lepaked with Altimet and Atilia kat Rasta. Nothing was planned actually, but someohow over Twitter, last minute planning, terus menjadi.

Tuh dia Atilia cokver bad hair day while si Altimet lak doing an impersonation of Jaws. Matilah aku pepandai je nak caption camtuh.

It was inspiring because being around artistes who are dedicated to their craft inspire me - and yes, I have new ideas for some meetings coming up later this week. It's going to be BIG and amazing.

Can't wait...

But it will have to as I'm too tired to put any of it on paper now and need to sleep...

Seriously today's date is so overrated. 10 - 10 - 10 katanya. Nice date.. but no real other significance.

Kecoh ari ni pasal konon wedding of the century. Perlu ke aku komen pasal that 'show'? Berapa juta Malaysians nak waste time seeing that pon tatau, but I won't understand why.

Me?

I stayed home. Sampai kena gerak ngan kengkawan. Konon jom gi tengok Konsert Reunion Akademi Fantasia 8. Belum pe pe rasa berdarah bernanah bagai gituh kenostalgiaan (matilah pepandai wat term sendiri) nan hado.

The show was ok though song choices bland gila. Layan je la. Yang penting ramai kawan-kawan ada, and we all spent Sunday night together, di sambung kemudian ngan sesi mamak.

Smiles

Earlier tonight was the secret gathering aku been helping to plan out the last couple of days.

The event? A small gathering of the winners of Anugerah Skrin TV3 in 2007, 2008 and 2009 yang bercuti bersama pergi ke Los Angeles as part of their win.

Sedih lah aku terlibat walaupun bukan aku yang jejak ke LA. Datuk Seri Farid, jangan lupa ajak aku next year, tau bang!

All in all it was a good night - walaopon sapa follow Twitter aku dan beberapa orang artis yang hadir tweet pic aku jadi mic stand gituh tuk Aizat. Heh... someone overlooked that and aku kena jadik tukang pegang mic tuk Aizat nyanyi and skali tuk petikan gitarnya.

But it was really fun - and it was a pleasure nak spend time with the movers and shakers of all the big names yang bertanggungjawab for hasil produksi Melayu yang berkualiti.

Ni aku sempat snappy some of those yang attend.

Ni pic si Betty (Umie and Erma's sis) yang pose konon surprise la tuh. Candid katanya - walaopon tiga kali kita snap nak bagi nampak camni. Matilah aku!

Ni kak Erma and abang Farid layan anak Farid yang broke his hand. Alahai... kesian siot. Metal plate and three metal screws tuh!

Aku ngan Aizat melantak before all the events 'onstage' started. Yummy gila food!

As you can see, everyone borak tak hengat. Ni abang borak ngan Vee, Sheila Rusly borak ngan sapa ntah and kak Ziela with kak Eton.

Vee and Shidi in matching black. I seriously hope I'm as happy as these two kalao aku jumpa my life partner kang.

Of course sebab sibuk (atau nak sibukkan) diri, aku tak snap more pics than this. But seriously I had so much fun!

Tapi yang pentingnya, pas sesi tuh, ada sesi lepak agik before I finally went home and unwrapped two things I bought that made my day.

Sebab Fazura da racun aku for the original Apple iPad nya case, aku da beli. Slim gila. Aku nya leather case cam gedabak tebal gila kalao nak bandingkan. I got it for RM200 je from a friend kalao banding market price dalam RM280.

And of course the other thing kat depan tu - is the original Apple iPad keyboard dock. Aku suka gila! Harga pasaran (kat Low Yat) jual RM450. Mampus! Aku dapat tuk RM300 jek! Suka! Umie jealous! Heh... tunggu ek kakak aku pesan tuk ko skali.

Tapi memang bagus. Skang iPad ku leh jadik workstation as I can do heavier typing work on it dengan adanya keyboard. Aku suka gila! Yeay!

Shucks!

Today was an exciting day. Or at least it was supposed to be. Sebab our bad rep, memang susah bagi artis luar nak mai sini. Memacam cita burok orang luar dengar pasal Malaysia so meka tanak perform sini.

Kes Beyonce is a classic. I won't go into details tapi spekulasinya (sebenarnya sumber cita sahih) katakan dia kansel mai sini sebab masa dia perform negara jiran, ada yang dengki tarik dia show sana lagik skali kutuk kutuk kata negara kita camni camtu, tu yang dia terus tak jadi mai.

And honestly it's not too impossible to fathom.

Mana taknya. Si polan ni nak perform, ada yang dok protes. Si polan tu perform... ada lak yang bising. So much for democracy. Permit lulus pon ada yang psycho bising je keja. Takde maknanya majority rules. Loud minority gak yang menang, especially bila media luar nak je kompang cita orang kita ni cam kolot sangat.

So, I'm happy that Adam Lambert will be performing here. Though I hope no last minute cancellations.

Anyway, today ada scheduled interview over the phone with Adam from Tokyo. Bukan senang nak dapat one on one ker nak phoner ke apa sebab kalao meka tak mai, ada aku kisah konsepnya nak cakap ngan media nun jauh.

Tuh dia,. Standby conference call katanya. Note that tu bukan notebook aku bagai ye. Skang pakai iPad for recording interviews and taking notes. Kekwat!

Sayangnya the interview was delayed for two hours sebab running late sana, and then finally postponed and rescheduled to Monday. Boo!

Takpe. Nak ubat luka tuh.. kawan kat Sony bagik aku stok CD layan over the weekend. Among them Fantasia, Christina and Adam pon.

Aku ni jenis rajin gak beli CD tapi mana yang takde kalao orang bagi layan je. Besides, I listen to everything so nice to have a variety to layan walaopon mungkin kekadang ada certain artist or genres may not be up my alley.

Yang pentingnya, ni koleksi ku skang thanks pada member kat Sony Music Malaysia. Most of you know I am a Gleek - dan ni buktinya (thanks Szujane!)

Beraya ada berani

Daripada menu ni, sila teka aku beraya ke rumah sapa.

Aku rasa dari nama memeningkan menu yang ada (ni tak lengkap pon aku snap), da leh teka sapa kan. Of course, none other than Azwan Ali la.

Ni pic ngan tuan rumah. Sebenarnya kena paksa snap pic ngan dia nih sebab nak tweet katanya. Yela....da makan kekenyangan. Da cam ular sawa... nak snap pic lak. Sempat capai cushion nak cover perot!

Aku melekat skali ngan dia ada sebab. Dia da keluarkan iPad kisahnya nak lawan aku! Heh! Hebat la gak kalao belek iPad dia kalahkan Umie Aida, Erma Fatima dan iPad beberapa selebriti so far. Kira berisi la gak. Tapi skali aku kuarkan aku nya... nangis dia. Kalah gak kan Linda?

Aku dok selama yang mampu. Tapi pastu kena gegas lokasi rahsia sebab kena kerah ngan Erma Fatima tuk majlis rahsia. Banyak persiapan kisahnya for this little get together she's planning (jadik kita lak ngan kengkawan nak tolong).

Seronok... can't wait to see everyone's faces. Lokasi? Tengah KL but quite isolated. I like!

J Play

So today, I registered my own company which will be responsible for all my creative projects from now on, including my planned productions.

Ada orang tanya. Kenapa nama cam brand kondom! Ada ke... cam kesial mulot. Heh! The 'play' tuh was to reflect the easy going creative process gituh. Nothing else, sial. Lucah sungguh kekadang kengkawan ku semua. Heh!

So now, it's started. One year of running J Squared and Maxis, Hotlink and Kraft have been among my big name clients. So now here's to more, with more crazy ideas of mine to hit everyone.

Pas abih register bagai, aku gi for some R&R.

Tuh dia. Manicure katanya. Sebenarnya ramai tanya kenapa simpan kuku panjang. Senang je aku nak jawab. Sebab dulu, dan jugak kekadang aku tergigit balik. Nasty habit! So dari dulu aku colour kuku aku itam, kalao tergigit kira cam sial rasanya sebab kena pewarna kuku.

And then bila da panjang da tak sanggup gigit. So biarkan je, cuma jaga nak cantik je. Kalao potong pendek molot gatal jek.

Selain manicure, I did something I never did. A pedicure. Kuku kaki aku memang buruk aku rasa. Tapi wat la gak. Skali scrape, aiyo cam salji melayang kulit mati semua. Gila!

So one person working on my hands, another on my feet, siap massage. Ah! Lega...

Malam sikit, had a drink and chat with Mikey and Jessica. Ni Jessica jealous manicure aku. Tengok dari gambar, tangan sapa yang mana satu.

Keep in mind Jess is a 21 year-old Chinese girl.

Heh! Amik ko! Aku nya yang French manicure ok! Burok sungguh jari jari dia dibandingkan.

Argh... gotta rest. Long day tomorrow. And I need time to finish so much more work. Transition period!

Mari.. er..

Went for the launch of Mari Menari. So not impressed. Already Sehati Berdansa was a bad photocopy of Dancing With The Stars. Ni lak wat Mari Menari ganti Sehati Berdansa, which is more or less the same minus the celebrities.

Jap. Ada celebrities. Zulhuzaimy, Erra Fazira, Ferhad and Lisdawati. Too bad meka ni penasihat je. Wait a minute - apa kena mengena? Erm... nasihat pasal menari? Ok...diamkan dri je la.

Layan Lisa dan Awal ni agik baik. The hosts of the show.

Sempat catch up ngan abang Zul. Rindu lama tol tak jumpa dia. I like him. He's funny and warm. Not everyone leaves that impression on me, so there.

Will I watch Mari Menari? Not likely. Korang layan... kalao bagus bagitau ek baru aku tengok.

Every ending is a new beginning

I try to make things work. I try never to give up halfway. But I guess some things just don't.

So you move on.

Banyak perancangan dalam pala aku.

In my mind, I've always set 35 as the age when everything just happens to have fallen in to place. Unfortunately, too many distractions - which I don't place any blame on but myself for losing focus - cause me to stray and miss my mark.

I will be 35 July next year. So masa semakin suntuk nak kecapi apa aku da target.

No time for playing. No more distractions.

Insignificant

Ari i hari lepak sedunia! Sebenarnya tak... tapi celah semua drama Cerekarama (bukan drama aku, orang keliling aku), aku kena time off nak lepak and just clear my mind.

And as you can see in these pics, clear my car!

Cadang nak lepak ngan kengkawan, aku beli la McDonalds takeaway gituh. Bodoh nya da server tu dia bungkus tak betol. melayang penutup cawan Coke besau tuh abih tumpah!

Seb baik tak kena Gucci kee iPad aku. Kisahnya ada McDonalds yang kena bakar kalao ye...

Terus abihkan stok tisu yang orang buta slalu jual pas kena bawak sindiket. Ala.. yang kononnya buta tapi sebenarnya dipergunakan tuk jual tisu gituh. Abih semua... seb baik pemurah aku slalu dapat - letak keta, dapat gak soak up all the Coke.

Ni singgah 7 Eleven terus beli apa yang perlu.

Tuh dia, hand sanitizer tu ku, dan ubat nyamuk (just in case tak bersih ada ants ke lipas ke) skali Febreeze nak pastikan tidak ada unwanted odours (like some people I know - matilah!)

Lega sikit dapat clean up everything.
