Remember I told you we did a flashmob a couple of weeks ago? Here's the video, I hope you guys enjoy it.
With this one, we wanted to to change up the dance flashmob/smart mob, so we did it in a staggered formation. Usually the numbers grow as the mob progresses.
For this one, we started with a group, then the baton was passed to another, and so on. And only for the finale all the groups came together.
We also opted for a harder edge to the choreography, and also the choice of music since we wanted to tie in with the Beats image of being funkier and harder since we were on the platform of promoting the HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio.
I hope you guys like it. While we're a smart mob, which means one for corporate means, we stay true to the essence of a flashmob in other ways - such as the sudden congregation and dispersing of the crowd, the hidden cameras and other equipment (which some don't even consider).
Yes, we do try to stay true. After all, being INSPIRED means to study what it's all about to get about it. Not just 'monkey see, monkey do'.

I am so touched! Met up with Faz this evening at Pavilion. Supposed to go pick up some stuff she needed to doll up for Festival Filem Malaysia on Saturday night. Met later than planned about lunch sebab the jam, the rain and so on.
Chilled at Michaelangelo's and grabbed a bite. Masa Faz arrived, baru nak tanya apa dia shopping, cause she had this huge bag with her when she plopped it down on the seat, said, "Hi dear, here's your belated birthday present, I gotta go to the ladies."
Erm... alrighty then. She took a few steps and then turned and said, "open it up ok" and moved on. Looked at the bag.
I wondered what it was. Ok, I did play a guessing game. I slipped in my hand and messed about and tried to guess. Guess I must have slipped up and groped the wrong thing cause I guess wrong. I thought it was a shirt! The eventual result was much further cause I had actually grabbed the cloth bag in came in.
All I know about Jaspal is that it's a big local brand in Thailand, and the likes of Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Milla Jovovich, Mischa Barton and Selma Blair have been the face of the label. So I popped the bag open. This was what was inside.
Awesome! Tell me isn't that the coolest bag! The smell of leather was yummy! One of the best birthday presents for a long time for sure. She sure knows my taste. We grabbed a bite, then moved to KLCC to get the stuff Faz needed.
Can't say where we went or what we got, but I love Faz's outfit for the event. Oops! Then jalan jalan shopping. This counter selling the coolest but expensive charmbracelets caught Faz's eye. Love them!!! Oh my God!!! They're so cute!
After she perused through the individual charms which were all just so yummy, she got stopped by some counter staff for a photo opportunity, aku lak browsed what they offered. And this caught my eye. I want this!!
And it on discount, even though just 10%! Yeap, I want the one on the pink pillow. Lawa gila! I could do without the D&G logo which was a little obnoxious though. But the design was awesome! Didn't get it though sebab aku nak sleep on it.
Spent the rest of the night finishing up shopping, and then just chilling with friends.
I love how this week is turning out.
Oh by the way, when we popped MAC, perasan this display!
Oh my! I love the Heatherette label by Traver Rains and Richie Rich! And the packaging caught not only my eye but Faz pun perasan. But since it was sold out, kita ogle jer la.
Heh... ok... something tells me I am going to blow my budget this month. Let's just hope I don't have the next few days free to go shopping and I've forgotten all I've seen... kalao tak pokai aku.... anyone wanna get a belated birthday present for me? Matilah aku...
About a decade ago, I was in a house in Jalan Setiamurni, Bukit Damansara. Masa tu bertugas. I had traipsed all around Kuala Lumpur, only to end up back there for a press conference.
In the middle of it all, pandemonium broke out. The house was surrounded by uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of several bodies of the law. Within minutes into the press conference, hell broke loose!
The window beside the front door was broken, and eventually, the door too. Men in ski masks, balaclavas if you must, rushed in, brandishing what looked like M16s.
Having heard the commotion, the person holding the press conference, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, was brought to a safer part of the house by family and friends, while idiots like me rushed to the front door to see what was happening.
The moment the men rushed in, aku dok terpaku. It was something frightening for me as I had never ever thought I would experience that in real life.
Several members of the Press, tak silap aku dari suratkhabar lain, and a member of the foreign press were roughly handled. I kept snapping photographs with my company camera.
Then the men came after me as I snapped their pics.
What do you think I did?
I ran screaming like a little girl la! What the f**k did you think I was going to do???!
They gave up chasing a hysterical queen and everything else, happened like it was reported on the news. Anwar was arrested.
Now... ten years later, it's happened again.
Again he has been arrested, and perhaps in no less a brutish manner.
Aku tak sempat tengok berita, but I knew they reported his arrest, which was no surprise. The part everyone forgot to highlight was that not only did they arrest him before his time was up at 2pm (et they have an excuse for that), they also sent in the men with balaclavas again! I remember back then I felt the fear of living in what was almost a police state... where you could be dragged kicking and screaming from your beds when all this happened before me. Now I feel that same dread again.
My heart goes out to the family of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The law is the law... and no one should be above it (someone tell that to certain people within the government)... but this is simply too much.
Everyone has rights.
My heart especially goes out to Nurul Izzah. It's been almost a decade too since I last spoke to her. Wonder if she still thinks Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins rule!

I celebrated the dawn of my birthday (literally sebab shooting sampai 5 lebih pagik ok), with Stacy, Zahid, Shawal and Riz, apart from Cherry, Nurul and the rest of the production crew of Aku Stacy and the TV commercial shoot for the Boh tea campaign.
It was fun, and passed time playing with my N95 8gb since leh wireless to get online. Cool! A lot of pics, so brace yourselves. Ok la.. enjoy it. Tomorrow one more shoot for the commercial. More pics then. Toodles!
First, I have to play catch up. Nih senarai pencalonan untuk Anugerah Industri Muzik on 3rd May. Aku gi PC kat Berjaya Times Square smalam tapi tak sempat snappy pics. Pet Shack by the way is a pet store kat Sunway area yang bebetul cater to memacam spesis (kecuali binatang yang berupa manusia). Tapi yang best, meka nih bab sugar glider, they have the best lah dari segi semua keperluan.
Sesiapa ada sugar glider nak find out more, leae a message for me and I'll tell you where to get all the necessary info. Most pet shops tak equip nak handle sugar gliders, so it's best you get people who really know what they're talking about.
Apa lagik, I got the Wodent Wheel has for gliders, and then a hammock set nak bagi dia tidur and main as well as stock up glider mix. Puas walau habis beratus gak.

THAT'S a singer. Kalao nak compare kan... Stanly tuh yang feeling classical jauh ketinggalan in so many departments. Bukan nak compare, tapi aku kekadang lak geram tengok Stanly wat alasan katakan dia classical tuh nih, padahal nyanyi sumbang. Biar tukar genre pun, seseorang kalao ada grasp of techniques takkan hancur camtuh nya.
Bumped into Samuel yang baru abih photoshoot tumpang Juan ke Pavilion. Sebab da tolong Nora set up interview and photography ngan Sammy, mula mula ingat siang tadi nak join them but tak sempat. Korang usha jerk la In Trend bulan depan kot. Anyway, bye bye ngan Sammy sebab dia esok da berangkat balik ke Jakarta. Tapi dia kata he'll be back soon.

Merasalah the best look of the day... cam Mama Rozza pun ada. Versi muda la.. siapa tak kenal Mama Rozza abaikan ek. Kalao aku tempek pics sini kang nightmare korang.
Aduh... pecah perot la bab ni. Kalao selama ni aku carut memacam... aku rasa kali nih memang a picture speaks a thousand words. Tol cakap Sarimah... cam cast Zombi Kampung Pisang da memasing nih.
Someone please tell them rock isn't about make-up and eyeliner. Leh tak sesapa explain ngan meka what rock is, and the current sub-genres of rock and their respective fashion attributes. But I guess nak harapkan Jasmi, dia cuma bab dangdut jer kot comprehension dia.

Nadia rindu mom dia... aisey! Ni cam bebudak planning nak get their parents in the Akademi kot nak memasing nak nangis dapat visit. Semua makan hati kot sebab minggu lepas Saida nitis airmata rindu anak anak dapat jumpa meka masa konsert so semua nak ikut cara dia mana tau leh dapat jumpa family meka memasing.

Matilah dia sebut pasal confidence, presence and aura katanya. Nak ajar cara duduk lak. Posture, and etiquette katanya. And I thought he didn't even do his job of dressing them right. Matilah berpeluh terlampau kena cakap... aduh... today's episode memang comedy hour.
Gelak sat.... Lufya baru sedar ketiak dia menjadi focus negara ngan non absorbent dress dipakai menjadi mangsa sebab Jasmi baru bagitau. And I thought Monday's evaluation they got to see their performances? Motif tak perasan ketak sendiri?
Erm... sempena birthday Nubhan dapat makanan idaman katanya. Only thing I like about this scene is meka makan together.
Erm.. seingat aku pas musim pertama ramai bising pasal peluk angkat dan sebagainya, tapi nampaknya comeback kali nih move seperti tuh dalam choreography baru Menuju Puncak. Wonder how that'll go down.

Merasalah kena tegur, terus energy pumped, tapi singing lak jadik shouting. And he wasn't the only one... nampaknya most of them equate rock with shouting. Sampai mengucap umi tension. Heh... Stacy proves she can rock. More cam practise sessions. Alif is starting to shout. Faisal hasn't leanrt much, his breathing is just horrible... he should just stop! Totally! Naim bukak molor je screaming lagik. Argh!

Sigh... another day, another Diari. Anyway, have to really say Diari masih mampu menarik minat aku unlike the konsert. If aku carut selama nih, aku bebetul kena extend my congrats to the Diari team for their great work. And Sarimah too of course.
