Watch, and share

Remember I told you we did a flashmob a couple of weeks ago? Here's the video, I hope you guys enjoy it.

With this one, we wanted to to change up the dance flashmob/smart mob, so we did it in a staggered formation. Usually the numbers grow as the mob progresses.

For this one, we started with a group, then the baton was passed to another, and so on. And only for the finale all the groups came together.

We also opted for a harder edge to the choreography, and also the choice of music since we wanted to tie in with the Beats image of being funkier and harder since we were on the platform of promoting the HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio.

I hope you guys like it. While we're a smart mob, which means one for corporate means, we stay true to the essence of a flashmob in other ways - such as the sudden congregation and dispersing of the crowd, the hidden cameras and other equipment (which some don't even consider).

Yes, we do try to stay true. After all, being INSPIRED means to study what it's all about to get about it. Not just 'monkey see, monkey do'.

Ok ok... dahlah. Panjang pulak nak blog walaupun pemalas katanya. Enjoy the video, and please, do tweet it, blog about it, share it on forums and websites and link it on your Facebook or Google+ and help us continue to make awesome flash mobs.

klubbkidd.com freebies alert!

So you guys read a lot of Blackberry and HTC products on my Twitter and my blog. No, I'm not paid by them.

Beginning with Blackberry, I've always been a big fan. And everyone knows I can't live without my Blackberry. And after years of loyalty to Blackberry, and a slight level of fanaticism, I am lucky enough to be a friend of Blackberry. Not an ambassador (again, I'm not paid). They just keep me in the loop of their products and I get first dibs at it cause I'm a fan.

Likewise with HTC. I'm a friend of HTC because the HTC Sensation XE was my first Android experience. And an excellent way to lose my Android virginity (sounds so wrong). But yes, it is awesome! In this day and age where people carry two phones, I carry three. And apart from my Blackberry, my HTC has become a must!

So guess what? I'm giving away a Blackberry Playbook, courtesy of Blackberry AND a HTC Desire HD!

Yes, you read right. GIVING AWAY!

Not buy one get one free. Not buy one at a discount. FREE FREE FREE! We all like the word free right?

So how do you get the Blackberry Playbook or the HTC Desire HD?

Very simple. This Saturday on 22 October 2011 - the #OctTwtFest will be held. What is it? It's the biggest gathering of Twitterjaya, or Malaysian Twitterers. We're aiming for the Guiness Book of World Records.

Come one come all, because everything is free. Free food, free drinks, free entertainment, free giveaways. Just CLICK HERE for more info.

So anyway, at #OctTwtFest, my friends in Blackberry and HTC have kindly offered these two items for me to giveaway. The mechanism will be announced over Twitter LIVE as it happens.

Don't have a smartphone? Live feeds of the #OctTwtFest will be all over the place, as will there be PCs with connection.

Are you interested yet? After clicking HERE for more info, click HERE to RSVP! It looks like we're going to break the world record with more than 1,999 already confirmed (when I posted this entry).

So what are you waiting for? See you there!

PS - Amir Jahari who is also a friend of Blackberry will also be performing at #OctTwtFest! Come watch him if you are a fan, or just curious to know who he is.

My Sensation XE

Yes, you guys know I'm a friend of Blackberry because I'm such a nut over it. You know what they say... once you go black, you never go back.

Well, now, I've also gone Android.

And my choice? The Sensation XE. Been using it for a week or two now, even before the release at the end of this month and a week or so before the worldwide launch. Thank you HTC Malaysia for letting me be the first in the country to have it!

And no, I'm not paid to do this. I'm just an average Joe who loves his geek toys!

And yes, I love my Sensation XE with Beats Audio technology. Don't take my word for it... but if you love music as much as I do, this is the phone for you!

It's officially partnered with my Blackberry as my second phone. Yes, I have three lines altogether so it's hardly surprising kan kalau I have more than one phone.

Touch ups

Of course, I'm still continuing my effort to update my blog, so don't worry if you see it a little empty for a while. Dalam lebih tujuh tahun da blog ni, my blog has gone through several changes, and this is one time that aku nak fine tune my whole blog layout.

Of course, there are several considerations. First of all, ever since I took on this blog skin, I've had the colour scheme changed to something that seems to be a favourite choice - which is my combination of red, black and white (with occasional grays).

I got rid of a lot of stuff last time, making it lighter, easier to load, and nicer to view on a mobile, for those of you who may come in on your smartphones.

And of course my background has changed. To cater to that geekier tech-toy and gadget side of me. Yes... I care more than just for my Guccis.

Why the chosen background? Becaus I am advocating Blackberry - my all time favourite, and a new love for.. Android! And my choice, obviously, as a music lover is the to be released HTC Sensation XE.

On the Blackberry Bold 9900 - I'm not using it yet, but waiting to take delivery of the phone, but since I was one of the first in Malaysia to preview it and get to play with it, I'm convinced it's the phone for me.

And knowing me, I've had FOUR lines before sebelum ni, and now I'm down to two phones, so my second had to be upgraded from the shitty Nokia I was using. Didn't make sense to use another Blackberry, so I was looking for something else. And no iPhones, because I am an iPhone hater... everyone knows that. Why? Simply because I think iPhones are overglorified, overhyped toys for retarded 13 year-olds (personal opinion here).

My virgin attempt at the HTC Sensation XE (and being the first few Malaysians to actually be using it before it hits the shelves) - left me amazed. With Beats Audio technology, it's the phone for me. Of course it didn't hurt that it came with the Beats earphones AND the Android platform left me downloading stuff day and night. Nice!

So that explains the whole layout.

More updates coming for sure. Happy I finally tweaked my blog to how I like it... so now, let the show begin!

PS - I've removed the chat box. Simply because I find it irrelevant in this day and age when Twitter has taken over for real time discussions. After all the chat script doesn't show on mobile phones, and that renders it useless in most parts simply because most of us go online more often on phones. If you're desktop and you're discouraged by this, simply start a Twitter account. Semua da ada takkan tanak kot... ish ish ish.
