From The Star today.
Malaysia Today news portal editor Raja Petra Kamarudin, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng were arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA).
So the SMSes I've been getting is true. A crackdown has begun.
Today is indeed a sad day for the country. As a member of the media still, it's not funny that this is happening when even a journalist is detained for merely reporting.
And the subject of her reporting has only been suspended for three years.

Whatever it is, hari ni memang sejarah hitam buat Malaysia. It's perhaps the darkest day for democracy in Malaysia in two decades.
Whatever your religion is, let's all pray that Malaysia will prevail from those who choose to oppress freedom and suppress the voices that dare speak.
Read the latest at The Malaysian Insider, Malaysiakini, Rocky's Bru, or at Lim Kit Siang's blog. And remember... keep praying Malaysia akan terus aman dan damai.
PS - I'm reminded of something I read before, so I Google it so I wouldn't get it wrong.
(Surah Yusuf, ayat 33)
