Itu kamu!!!

Ni nak tompang promo sikit (blog sendiri pon kena tompang kaaa??!!!) sebab ari ni pun tak banyak nak posting sebab sibuk ngan kerja.

Bagi meka yang minat the Sunday nite Live series kat Planet Hollywood, jangan ketinggalan One Night Only (guess movie inspired this tag) ngan Hazami & Soul Friends on Sunday, 11th March bermula 10.30pm.

The event sebenar marks a return for Hazami sebab ingat agik the fist time dia jejak sana wat show.

Teringat time 2001 masa baru kenal dia, dia jejak ke show Dayang Nurfaizah for the same showcase dan perform ngan Dayang walaupon lum bergelar artiste ketika tuh. Amik ko...masa tu terus ramai terpegun sebab tak penah lak orang tengok penyanyi laki wat whistling.

Lum per per...lebih kurang setahun kemudian, dia sendiri dapat merasa perform kat sana, time tuh dia lom jadik artiste, tapi berjaya nak hold the audience. I was still involved at that point, sibuk dok cari recording deal baginya.

After a meeting ngan Ajai (Nurul ada sekali) kat Nearfiled Studio kat Taman Tun (skang dikenali sebagai Wake The Baby da), the next day dapat panggilan dari Ajai kata deal...dia nak aku jumpa ngan Rudy Ramawi, the managing director of Warner Music Malaysia ketika tuh.

Having kept my promise tu help out, aku pun tompang bangga because dia da berjaya. Honestly, banyak selok belok pasal industri muzik soal sebalik tabir dan selok belok pengurusan dan nak deal tuh ni aku belajar ketika tu...and the rest as they say...is history.

Now...he makes a return to Planet Hollywood. Konperm ni kena pergi...seribu nostalgia Hazami as takes centrestage in Planet Hollywood.

Sebab ramai pon tau kan dia training vocal ramai penyanyi dalam industri, worth the RM40 (includive of one drink) cover charge ler (cam ler aku kena bayar...yer yer je cakap) just to see who else will be performing selain Hazami (cam ler aku tatau...)

Anyway for those of you yang nak gi...ingat...as usual, showtime is at 10.30pm and there will be two forty-five minute sets....

Anyway....semalam nak posting entry yang last last sikit tak sempat sebab meroyan isu Cit Cat...tapi popped by Laundry Bar kat The Curve atas jemputan RIch (masa dia call tengah separuh jalan preview Mukhsin - merasalah aku kena jeling maut sebab jawab phone)

So, habis je keja yang berlambak semalam, zoomed there and popped into the establishment da nampak da kuarga Maestro termasu Mukhlis (ko kira Zezz la bukan Maestro), Melvyn, Marina, Syed dan ramai agik.

It's been some time since I watched any sort of showcase with underground bands (rindu lak scene Damansara dulu zaman Silver Spoons dan Barnum's ketika gig) but I found myself bopping along.

Hah...kira aku takder ler tua sangat...masih mampu agik nak enjoy ni.

I especially loved one of the three opening bands called Stoned Dazed (sorry if I got the name of you guys wrong...sound system was crap!).

Dengar je leh pick up that they were very influenced by Seattle sound and the mid 90s rock movement of grunge. A little bit of Stone Temple Pilots, a dose of Smashing Pumpkins, and thrown in with a good pinch of Sonic Youth, Gin Blossoms and several other sounds.

Sayang je the only drawback was they weren't tight enough...still they rocked.
the other 'otai' band yang perform was They Will Kill Us All. Very Spiral Kinetic Circus, except they appeared more sobre and were so amazingly tight that it was amazing to watch them.

The stars of the night was of course Estranged....aiyo...what can I say but that Rich was in the wrong show masa dia masuk Akademi Fantasia. They rocked the house!!!

headbanging main libas rambut) ngan Juan (yang lawan moshing ngan Tasha - tak sesuai ok!!)
Apapun memang happening...congrats Rich and the boys from Estranged on your album launch! Ni my little tribute clip with a snippet and promo for the album...hope you guys rock it up ok.

Dah..nak end posting. Esok entry pasal rahsia Aduh Saliha yang aku nak cita tak dapat cita...yang ramai dok nunggu. Heh!! Tungguuuuuuu!!!

PS - Today was a day of smiling. Karma has a strange way of balancing things out kan...He always knows what's best.... manusia takleh tarik rezeki kita...cuma Tuhan. Amen...
