Aku honestly pening gak tak blog dekat seminggu ni.

Actually genap seminggu since my last posting, so there's a lot I want to recount balik about my week...

Tapi camna... dah wat posting, tak keluar-keluar lak.

Even my last posting keluar sehari lambat, and then esok dan lusanya lak, blogdrive wat hal, so none of my postings could go online.

To make matters worse, dah taip berjela already, masa posting hilang gituh je. Sampai naik frust lak nak posting sampai the whole system ok balik.

Mmmm.. mai aku recount balik what I did for the past week, susah nak recap nih sebab banyak kena ingat balik. Aku dahler very selective memory pulak tuh.

Trackback to Wednesday, on Merdeka eve. Worked till late

Not that late lah actually... sampai kul 8 lebih kot. Met up with Juan sebab nak cover konsert Merdeka kat KLCC.

Terkejut sebab ingat dah mesti jalan sesak gila... as experienced for the past few years. Tapi I was taken aback because the roads were suddenly the way they were something like 20 years ago (if there were roads there 20 years ago lah... you know what I mean).

Kosong... jalan rilek je, breezed through from Bangsar to KLCC within 15 minutes or so. Cam tak caya lak! Hmmm...

Anyway sampai tuh, meriah ler gak.

Malas cita panjang sebab ada episod binatang-binatang berangan gila kuasa (matilaaa ko aku SMS boss ko gak kan?) Yang banyak temankan aku malam tu berborak si Velvet dan Farhan as well as Zahid. Faizal pun ada ler selit-selit masa dia nak borak... sempat aku passing barang yang dijanjikan.

Pastu jadik kontroversi molot-molot poaka berangan lak kan? Matilaaa ko menyibuk jaga tepi kain orang. I seriously think, orang-orang ni sexually repressed. Tu laa akibatnya sibuk sangat with other people's lives and thinking they're better sampai meka end up so anal retentive sangat.

Whatever! Janji stok-stok gila glamer yang nak feeling rapat ngan bebudak ni sampai dengkikan orang lain akan campak je bebudak ni pas niat gila glamer meka exhausted. I think after four years of Akademi Fantasia, dah biasa dah ngan memacam bangsa yang nak dekati bebudak ni.

Abih konsert, lepak ngan Farhan dan Velvet banyak sekali ngan Syed from Maestro. Malam tu, cadang nak balik awal, tapi sebab party punya pasal, alamak, tertidur bangun 10.30 pagi!!!!

Gilos!!!!

Pastu dahler kelam kabut nak tepati janji to Yasmin that I would drop by for a private preview of Mukhsin. Sebenarnya berat nak gi tuh.. one because I prefer to watch the complete product on screen for an unbiased view of how the film really is, and secondly... erm...sebab ras anak sambung tidur.

Tapi balik terus mandi, lantak sesuap dua nasi, and then gerak to pick up Miss Olympia dan gegas ke Leo Burnett.

Sampai 1.30pm. Lum start agi rupanya.... tunggu beberapa kengkawan sampai. Aleya and Nani were there. But it was a nice gush of excitement the moment the offline version of Mukhsin rolled on which was for a small group of friends, most of whom were close to Yasmin, tapi aku tak kenal sangat. Tapi kalau the music maestro ada harusler merembes sebab 'Alan' ada, kan?

What do I think of the film. As the usual standards for Yasmin's films...a bloody MUST WATCH!

In true tradition of her work, there is no repeat performance of the 'usual strategy' employed by other film-makers. Kalau the last film in Gubra was dark and rather melancholic (at least it was depressingly so personally for me), and Sepet was mor MTV-esque and yet not even as remotely close to a certain Professor punya filem... Mukhsin is... simple.

A straightforward story of first love.

Without revealing too much, all I can say is the film is fantastic for the excellent casting (walaupun kid actors but they execute their characters better than a lot of existing pelakon ok!), the music (mencemar budaya ke nak promo keroncong) and the simple manner of delivery, and yet without pandering to the expected formula of popcorn movies.
In true Yasmin style, I had tears in my eyes by the time the lights came on. Suka tau Yasmin nak bagi orang nitis airmata. Not since the Eighties when I used to temankan my mom to watch these Chinese drama serials (remember Heaven Knows My Heart?), could I so easily shed a tear or two. Aku pun da kebelakangan ni dah 'membatukan' hati aku to avoid being too sensitive in this challenging industry, so that says a lot when watching Mukhsin, aku masih lagik mampu terbuai ngan segala perasaan yang terkandung dalam jalan cerita dan dialog...emosi dan sentimen yang ingin di ketengahkan.

It would be almost rude to simplify if, but Yasmin's movies, are like the Petronas ads (if you're wondering why, I'll smack you)... they just state something that's obvious, but you've never really picked up on.Sentimental fool. Had a short tea session after the movie and some interesting conversation before moved to KLCC again for Konsert Reunion.

Malas cita lebih, kang ada lak pihak dengki agik kan? So all I can say it was simply fun!

Though I suspect not for some people la... biasalah kalau kuli dok sakit ati je kot tengok orang lain seronok. Kalau da inferiority complex, da dengki...da no life and yearning to berangan with other people's lives camtuh ler.

Whatever...

Tapi yang penting nya... ni ada few pics nak share... meletop tak shading Faizal? Kesian gak keletihan tahap gaban tuk, tengok muka da terbayang jadual dia packed camne. Lum agik keja tambahan hasil penyibuk (gelak sendiri sebab sendiri paham...)

Yang penting, dalam banyak gambar aku, malas nak post semua kat sini sebab ada yang masih tak paham what a personal blog is, while others yang tak dapat kata nak show off lak pulak (entah apa yang ditunjuk-tunjukkan pun... padahal dengki sebab bertahun aku wat camni takde lak yang bising... tetiba akibat dengki...)

Tapi pic atas ngan Haziq tuh aku nak letak sebab tu first real pic aku mgan dia. Merasalah... sapa kata kita tak ngam! Cili mulot baru tau....

Just a little explanation. First pic - Velvet. Dalam usik mengusik dia suka wat muka kelakar, ni one of the 'poses' diabadikan. Character dia dan Marsha sama. Very bubbly and upbeat!

Second, of course, The Orange One, my baby bro, Zahid. Tetap smart (tapi berat badan tuh da naik balik sikit ler bro... jaga ek)

Third of course si Rich dan Lotter tengah feeling santai sebelum start Konsert Reunion Akademi Fantasia. Sekali tengok dalam pic ni sebab blur kerana movement, si Lotter aku feel cam character Guilde dalam Street Fighter lak (kuat imaginasi).

Yang keempat, dak yang dipeluk Faizal tuh namanya Haziq yang perform sekali masa konsert Merdeka KLCC. Haziq ni kelakar...pandai dia nak tiru perangai setiap watak dalam Akademi Fantasia. Dari tiru Adlin sampai ke Faizal sendiri, Haziq was just so cute. Anak sapa lah ni... bertuahnya.... dia paling favourite temankan Velvet yang kesunyian sepanjang malam when Zahid sibuk dan Faizal dan Farhan di bawa lak ke Dataran Merdeka.

Anyway... a little belated, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALAYSIA!

Friday keja sikit... Saturday lak met up with Diddy and Lotter as well as kak Aina and a couple of friends. My guardian angel (and Diddy's too) ada personal situation sikit, so selepas dimarah, aku call them. Patutnya Haziq ada sekali but entah kata dia kuar ngan family, so tak sempat join. Ajak Juan sekali and met Diddy, Lotter, kak Aina and gang kat Madam Kwan's Mid Valley Megamall.

Tima kasih kak Aina and friends (segan tak ingat nama) sebab belanja dinner. Sentap aku tak sempat bayar... only could pick up a round of coffee je.

Banyak gak dapat gossip... celah-celah tuh, Nana walked in together with Ann (Ann68 yang dok mai singgah sini kekadang) along with a friend walked in for dinner. Riuh for a moment...

Anyway pastu they wanted to go back, so the four of us decided to watch My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Last-last sebab takde seat yang cantik, we settled for Snakes On A Plane.

Aku decide nak gi Gold Class sebab penuh sangat time tuh panggung,
Gelut ngan Lotter sebab dia nak belanja... last-last dia settle belanja main game kat this amusement centre nearby because we had one a half hours to kill before the movie.

Merasalah aku lama tak Daytona da! Lotter finish first twice, aku twice. Hah... tu laa akibat tak pandai main nak crash kan keta orang (gelak jahat...sorry ek Lotter sebab asik nak bagik ko babas - sambil sumpah Juan bagi aku babas one game sampai aku masuk last!)

Diddy main game ala gendang tu aku gelak sebab mula-mula dia gelak aku... hah.. baru tau letih mana nak ikut rentak pukul benda alah tuh.

Sampai time, watched Snakes On A Plane yang memng menjerit je la keja aku asik terkejut. Binatang punya pilem... tapi best gak sebab aku suka scare movies camni.

Sunday mula-mula ingat nak gi acara Hotlink Akademi Fantasia sebab ada finalists and Diddy, but malas lak for several reasons. Apapun, aku siap ke TV3 je, sebab ikut rombongan ke Kuala Lipis.

Mak aih... very the rombongan cik Kiah! Siap Anne Avantie naik satu bas ok. Her and team dia yang 10 orang total. Vogue gak dia ni, but very the standard rupa datin dari Indo. Friendly nonetheless...

We reached just over two and a half hours later, dijamu ngan some bites, before Siti Nurhaliza herself mai welcome us. And that's when we saw it. The love bite.

Suka tengok the fact that Siti can be human enough to have something like that. I hate the way ada peminat yang letak Siti ni cam dia ni, tak pernah dan tak leh cam orang lain...

She's only human kan? So leave her be lah...

Apapun, pastu kami gerak Centrepoint Hotel & Apartments nak wat story semua. Kul 8 malam da siap story, sekali with Zul dan Farihad from Berita Harian dan juga Marliah dan Rafie from Kosmo!, tapi WiFi wat hal takleh send story.

Tension... so gerak ler ke Dataran Lipis tuh for the event terus. Stayed for about over an hours je.

Datin Siti dan Datuk Khalid sampai about 8.45pm, and we left about 9.45pm or so untuk nak hantar story. Kelam kabut, pas touch up story with some new details, couldn't find a line. Last-last guna reception hotel punya CCTV punya online PC nak hantar. Leh?

Matilah katanya alasan tuk rompak lain kali... apapun ada ler gak sebab aku nak layan gi cuti Kuala Lipis pasni (oops... takleh cita... nanti orang dengki because they have no lives nak sibuk hidup orang lain lak).

Gerak about midnight, and reached back TV3 about almost 3am. Dropped by Hatta's place to check on dia dia dan Wanie. Meka masih gigih ler siapkan baju untuk Anugerah ERA. Gina yang nak balik kampung esok, tengah sibuk wat aku punya lak... best nya creatuve design team ni. Tbey're really the best. Nanti tengok je hasil kerja meka kat Anugerah ERA.

Balik KO. Cadang nak ke rumah meka siang, sebab aku memang da bagitau opis aku akan masuk lambat sebab balik pun kul berapa da. Tapi jaga pun tengahari. Had tea cum dinner with Fiebie, Hatta and Wanie. Ada yang sibuk dok merembes abang sorang ni. Merasalah maskul tapi muka ala ala pusat penternakan jejentik kalau ujan sebab air bertakung!

Planned nak gerak ke Chow Kit with Fiebie sebab nak pick up costume material etc...(rahsia kerajaan takleh dedah nanti tau material semua dapat dari mana), but had to drop by Bangsar for rehearsal lagu Drama with Ning, Nikki dan Yanie.

Tak penah tengok step choreographer, si Boboy lagik, and aku risau sebab aku yang suggest dia nak try kelainan. Sampai je mother chicken pun da ada, sekali Jovian, Max dan sorang agik yang tak tangkap nama.

Vernon kata Jovian ni wat baju tuk Rossa dan Ratu, so kira stylo la diva bertiga ni nanti sebab baju red carpet disponsor dia. Cantik gak tengok dia fitting baju-baju dia... sesuai ngan tema leather and denim.

Anyway, Drama looks FANTASTIC! Look out for the show masa Anugerah ERA nanti sebab it will definitely be one of the best performances for the night, vocally as well as visually. Ning, Nikki dan Yanie won't only be belting out the song, meka jugak akan menari! And the steps are based on the artform of Vogue (contrary to straight beliefs, vogueing was not introduced by Madonna, but is an dance inspired sometime in the 70s after films like Paris Is Burning etc)

Tengok jam pas gelak, tepuk tampar... dah 12.30am. Alamak... shit!

Rush... rush... rush. Sempat drop by ngan music maestro yang keja pegang remote control CD untuk ulang (tunggu gambar bukti dikemukakan), kat Seksyen 7 nak melantak ngan Hatta and Wanie sekali ngan Lan (menjadi mangsa rembesan maestro)

Sempat drop by their place nak fitting baju aku... yeay! Only minor alterations needed. Tapi ada errands lagik nak run ni to complete it.

Merasalah dapat inspiration King Of Fighters ala cosplay!

Siang tadik jejak opis sampai sekarang, keja banyak nak wat... sekali on the phone ngan someone from Astro nak settle kan beberapa masaalah orang yang mengundang malapetaka.

Yes, final keputusan? Aku akan wat formal complaint in black and white.

Dah time nak ajar dah meka ni.. dok diam ingat sedap-sedap nak pijak je kan.

Moving on, just had a chance to blog lah ni... banyak keja balas dendam. Still following Rockstar : Supernova dan Ejen 016 walaupun aku follow nak blog more about it memang tak sempat. Salahkan the whole media circus I got caught up in with headlines Siti dan Mawi increasing more and more.

For Rockstar : Supernova, I am hardly surprised Ryan busuk tuh dah kuar. Aku da berminggu kata da dia mesti out punya... Tengok je, aku yakin Dilana dan Lukas akan top two. They are the best, and most suited to Supernova.

As for Ejen 016, aku follow pun nak blog lebih aku rasa cam wat summary program je keja....

You guys really have to catch it on your own. It is a pretty cool.

Trivia question!

What do Amber Chia and Linda Onn have in common?

They're both guest artistes with cameos on Ejen 016!

Pas minggu lepas Amber dah muncul, episod minggu ni which will be aired over TV3 at 9.30pm tomorrow night will feature Linda in a cameo.

That's one thing interesting about the whole series. The amount of star-gazing you can do in a night... dah ler regular cast pun leh tahan semua nama.

So jangan lupa lak nak tune in tomorrow to catch the developements... dan pada sapa yang menang handphone Nokia in the Ejen 016 competition, tuh nak sedekahkan kat aku... semoga dimurahkan rezeki... (gelak cam haper jer....)

Pening tul...aku ni memang TV addict. Dalam time kesibukan, aku camna pun kena catch certain series. Tak sabar aku nak dapat decoder Astro yang baru tuh leh main pause dan rewind as well as pelbagai lagi functions to toy with.

I however think kena carik lobang dulu sebab tak sanggup bayau mahal... since I'm not going to use it that much walaupun I really do need that function.

Tunggu dah lihat je bila aku dapat decoder baru tuh...

By the way, merasalah Fiebie makan jati tengok pose Linda Onn ngan Power Root - Pearl Kacip Fatimah kat bawah.... uols kan ratu kemuts feeling spokesmodel Pearl gaks.

Anyway... dalam kelam kabut, and rushing to finish these entries, there are a couple of my favourite pics aku nak share...

The first masa time kami makan-makan beramai-ramai sometime a week ago. Masa tu we saw this sign outside this electrical shop. Ingat owner dia owang Pantai Timur, sebab tulis washing machine as WASHING MACHING!

After we saw the shop was owned by a Chinese family, Fiebie kata mesti tokei Cina ni orang Besut. Keji!!!

Tapi kami gelak sampai pecah perut. Diddy sampai nak tergolek dibuatnya, tak henti gelak dekat 10 minit, manakala abang Badrul lak tunjuk skill how to shoot teh ais from the nostrils teknik nak gelak cepat sangat time minum.

Pic yang kedua belah kanan lak nak tau apa? Tu lah apa aku rasa nak wat ngan Motorola Fiebie yang baru. Keji tau setelah mendapat phone baru yang ada kamera rajin update blog terover-over lak! Gambar washing maching tuh contohnya da berkurun lama dia update dalam blog dia. Uwaa!!! Matilah camni blog aku menjadi blog past tense! Oops! Merasalah Ratu Diet!Anyway, the last picture I have to share is ala ala 18SX - mempunyai unsur lucah dengan patung mainan akibat kreativiti orang mana ntah (and I swear it wasn't me).

Sometime last week aku dan Wanie nak carik barang kat Shah Alam for costumes and all, we happened upon the soft toys area, then nampak ni.

Bukan aku buat ek... aku setakat menangkap pic tuk jadikkan wallpaper dan gelak sorang diri je. The things twisted minds dream of...

I suppose I've managed to capture the whole week in this posting yang berejam aku wat... kalau aku tinggalkan apa-apa yang penting nanti aku tambahkan... masih ada keja sikit nak abihkan, esok lak off sebab akan sibuk ngan banyak preparations untuk Anugerah ERA.

Nanti aku akan update blog balik. Don't worry...

Apapun minggu ni nak rajinkan diri update blog kembali. Rindu gak kekadang ada benda nak coretkan kat sini or posting pic ke haper... because this is still my 'theraphy' at the end of the day.
