Britney's back... b*tch!

Spent the day running around to catch up with my media mates. Aiyo. Tengok meka semua keja rindu lak nak full time camtuh. But at the same time, enjoying myself as is, so no real regrets either.

I guess I just miss the routine of it all. But no turning back for me. Apapon, semalam memang best gak cause I caught up with the guys at Berita Harian and Harian Metro as well as New Straits Times punya entertainment desks nak tolong send invites. Isnin kang nak jenguk kengkawan lain kat Utusan dan Kosmo! lak, and then it's on to magazines.

Pas settle, had no idea where to go with Jue dan Juan, and finally ended in KLCC sebab tu je jalan yang nak gi tak jam. Lepak makan sat... masa nak balik tuh, kat parking, sempat paparazzi... damn.. I'm definitely not cut out to be one. Tengok la pic kat bawah. Leh teka sapa?

Merasalah efek video Cloverfield katanya gegar! So guessed sapa tak? Heh... tu Linda in white and her sister tuh. Sempat terjah meka kat parking. Tak turun keta pon sebab kena sumpah keta kat belakang cause we were already on the move out then da.

Sempat ler erm intro cita cita bunga putih tujuh tangkai, kelapa muda dua, air masak sebotol dan limau purut sembilan biji. Heh... kalau korang ingat what that story is about paham la kan? Lagikpon blog Linda pon penah cita pengalaman dia ada kesan kemenyan kat lighter kedua keta dia. Amik ko!

Kang ada masa calling-calling ok Linda, now you finally know my blog. Matilah selama ni tanak expose. Heh!

Got back early. But popped back out pastu gi clubbing. Boring la. Rasanya da tua kot tak mampu nak ikut rentak bebudak. I mean it was almost kind of fun, but entah la, mungkin not for me kot.

Got back and watched the Womanizer music video. Korang da tengok? Britney is so back ok! I think she looks hot! And while the music is sill pretty much very her, I think the fact that she's on the comeback trail and asking herself, "What the hell was I thinking" over the events of the past year, ok la tu kan? Perhaps Jamie Lynn should ask herself that cause that kid is pregnant AGAIN! Aiyo... bloody breeding like rabbits la. Didn't she just have a kid???

Anyway, check out the video below. This is the director's cut, so slightly longer. And yes, there is nudity! Check out the opening shots! Not that revealing, but enough not to possibly make it on on TV.

The Britney nude intro to Womanizer

The characters she plays in the video

Can't wait to get the album, Circus. Hope it's Britney standards. She definitely is unabashed, shameless pop... but you have to love her for that.

I think she looks hot hot hot!!! Yeay Britney! Yawn.. calling it a night.. womanizer... woman-womanizer.. you're a womanizer.. owhhhh... infectious gila. Out!

PS - Shah Rukh Khan will be a Datuk tomorrow! The Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob will confer the title tomorrow. Aiyo... seriously....

Need spinach!

Uwarghhhh!! Awal pagi dah bangun da ari ni. By the end of the day, letih ya amat siot.

Temankan Faz and ran to a few places today. One of the early stops was at a production outfit in Hartamas where she had been called in for casting for a new movie. Quite a few names kisahnya da confirm participation, and Faz was in for her casting call gituh.

Dengan blur sebab battery diri tak caj full, aku pun lumbered along je.

Yes, if you think casting calls are glam work... they're not.

So how does the process go? Well, first you fil in a form for the particulars and info on the talent.

Cam pic orang gi complain kena tipu skin cepat kaya lak pose Faz ni

Merasalah Faz tengah ting tong. Check out the comments she added at the end of the form. Rosak... heh! Sorry girl aku tak edit the bad English at the end. Suka tau nak feel LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!

She ran through a short intro on cam and then read some lines for the part. Interesting to see her at work. Her experience does show, and it was a learning experience for me as well to see her go into it without any nerves. Aku ingat aku berdepan camera first time.. ado??? Mr Freeze tajuk album nya jadi very self aware of my every move - and akibatnya kejung depan cam.

Ehem... sila maafkan the "Global warmings aren't cool" part sebab dia kelam kabut isi aku snappy pic. Heh... LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE! Matilah....

Natural beauty ok... nan ado make up katanya.

Feeling ... getting into her creepy character

After we were done, decided to grab a bite. Talked a little bit about the role, though can't mention anything here. Just kind of an interesting character for a horror flick.

Da memang rezeki Faz. She's been getting back to back movie offers, so 2009 is indeed going to be her year as I predicted pas court case dia settle.

You can... but not Engrish...

Melantak sat, and decided to go on shopping rounds nak pick up some stuff needed for a kenduri kesyukuran to be held next week.

Tangan penuh tak larat nak snappy apa-apa pics, though I picked up a few things of my own.

From the middle of KL, rush ke Amcorp Mall time rush hour to get invitations done for the event. Seb baik Faz yang drive. Aku da berat sangat pala masa tuh, sebab the weather was wet, and the jam was building up.

After spending a few hours more, Faz got her invites sorted out, Jue got her business cards printed.. and so did I! Yeay!

Thanks to the lovely people there who made us feel so at home dalam lepak sana, sampai cam beraya lak with kueh raya being passed about.

Popped into MPH and found this. Damn.. have to check kalao my sis da beli nak kebas baca. Kalao tak kena beli gak!

Pas settle kat Amcorp, it was starting to get dark. Faz suggested we have dinner first before we head home to hit the sack. Memasing da tired gila da. So she suggested Rakuzan, a Japanese restaurant kat Plaza Damas.

Got back pas dinner, stopping to help a friend whose bike stalled pas another short round of beli barang again... and it was still early. Well, ikut my time la. About 11pm.

Cleared stuff away, and letak this electric guitar shaped lighter ni, yang one of the no real function barang I bought on display. Why do I need an electric guitar shaped lighter? Well it was about the right size... for... my gothic doll!

Amik ko! Takde keja kisahnya kan!!!! Sebelom tido time tu, rasanya ada yang tak kena. You know how they make doll punya rambut ni panjang melampau. Well, so I took a pair of scissors and decided it was time for it to go real punk goth. And since it already had a mohawk like mine, well almost.... me decided to cut almost all of it off.

Aduh.. ngantuknya. Esok got some rounds. Weekend ni no rest la. Nak open house ada berapa da. Pastu next week have a meeting with a TV station for potential - erm... nanti je la ek. Ada rezeki aku bagitau sepenuhnya.

Me calling it a day. Until the next entry

PS - Heroes nanti je aku review. Just managed to watch Project Runway. Jerell out! I hated that dude, but he's been improving, and i really wanted Kenley to be out. But she and Korto and Leanne are in for the Bryant Park finale next week. Damn! Tunggu America's Next Top Model nya latest episode. Esok da leh tengok...

Pooped...

Smalam ada meeting sana sini, then followed by singgah opis lama nak wat claim and check on post Raya event (oh damn so many things coming up) and then singgah ke set Pisau Cukur sat.

Jumpa Faz yang ditemani Jue je. So now I know apart from Maya Karin, who still looks every bit a hot mama, there's also Aaron Aziz, Rahim Razali and Liyana Jasmay... erm.. ada lagik but aku pun tak lama kat set tu. Iyolah, kita kan tak kena mengena so uncomfortable la.

Lepak SS2 and finally Pelita. Me too tired honestly to post anything. But esok je la... lazy spell takde. Just tired streak...

The Japanese are great!

Too lazy to write anything. Just spent the day watching the fourth episode of Heroes! Nanti je la review. Kalao sapa tak tengok baik tengok dulu kalao tak, jangan marah kata aku bagik spoilers lak kang.

Blog hopping here and there as well as surfing, inspired by Batman bin Suparman, here are some stuff I found on the net. Worth a laugh or two. Esok je la posting ek.

The Japanese have finally invented... God????

A cannibal's version of a McDonalds play set?

Have a sit...

Loud sh*t!!!

Frodo has his own section!

And last but not least... a Chinese restaurant you don't want to go to

Boom de ya da!

Feel exhausted from doing nothing. Sounds impossible? Well pas Raya da move on (even though masih dalam bulan Syawal) aku skang letih sebab nak gerakkan everything yang on hold from the fasting month, to the celebrations. Tak larat sangat.

Give me strength... aduh... leh tak kalao aku cam mamat ni. Mesti power nya. Thank you Amir for the comic relief. Tiap kali baca blog dia mesti aku pecah perot. He's weird and proud of it! There are a lot of overrated blogs out there... Amir is not one of them.

Aku browsing and catching up with his entries. The pic above was from one that I missed out on.
Cam kesial kan? Aduh...

Spent the day with friends most of whom are slowly returning. Supposed to schedule meetings this week. Will see how it all pans out.

Meanwhile, people.. boom de ya da! Erm.. if you don't get Discovery, watch the video below for a feelgood moment. Oh by the way. Faz fans! Faz kan mula shooting Pisau Cukur with Maya Karin this Wednesday. Want pics?

Heroes! Lots of it too!

Ok, first of all, be prepared for total geekiness. I am about to be excited by something that is not very exciting. Yes, if you are not turned on with anything with wires or USB ports, this is NOT your thing.

Semalam actually didn't do much, apart from picking up my sis in Ampang, heading back home to have lunch with the folks, and then later going for a bout of shopping with her for some small stuff she needed to bring along and then on to KLIA to catch her flight to Jakarta.

But she passed something to me, which I thought was so sweet because I been thinking about getting it but haven't. Lo and behold, worship at my feet, oh geeks!

If you're going like... what the #$%^!!!!, don't blame me! You were warned. Yes, it's my new portable external hard drive! Yeay! More memory space! My 160GB is already packed full with music, work and especially lots of movies and complete or near complete seasons of Pussycat Dolls Presents, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway as well as all my magic tutorials, so wanted to get another one. Didn't aim for a 250GB though it sounded enticing, but sis got the Maxtor one for me for just RM250!

Yeay! Hurrahs all around!

Ok, so I'm not going to post anything lengthy because me wanna transfer some stuff about. So I'll leave you guys with the recaps of the first three episodes of Heroes which I have wanted to post for ages now. Heroes fans unite!!!!

I'm kind stoked on the new season, because not only is it faster paced, it's also got more colour to it this time, without trying to be too intelligent, and yet having more than enough twists in the plot to make it watchably fun!

Oh nevermind. If you haven't watched the first three episodes, note that too bad if it becomes a spoiler for you ok! You were warned. Also those looking forward to episode four like me, there are some spoilers below, so stop where you should, or risk knowing, or at least having a clue of what is going to happen!

Ok, just a recap.

Episode 1 - The Second Coming

Opens with Claire about to blow Peter (ok that sounded wrong), his brains, people his brains.. out. It's a future setting and apparently Peter says he'll change things by going back.

And he does, solving our mystery of the past season of who shot Nathan. Future Peter did! Apparently to stop him exposing those with powers.

But since he's one of the hotter ones in the series, Nathan lives, believed to be because of Claire's powers, which were absorbed by Peter, and passed on through blood transfusion. A little too Falcon Crest? Oh well...

Meanwhile Matt is sent to a desert like plain by Peter when he discovers Peter responsible for the shooting.

Peter goes back to kick Nathan's ass and finish the job, still he decides otherwise when Nathan sees thelight and decides not to blow the whistle on their existence.

He bumps into Angela who asks what happened to the real Peter, and turns out, he's been put into the body of an inmate in Level 5 - a high security prison for those with powers.

Meanwhile, Nathan gets a visit from Linderman, though it's anyone's guess whether he's real or not.

Hiro meanwhile has taken over his father's company and is left in a will of a great secret to guard. It's a formula, or at least half of it.

He however loses it immediately to the first new 'hero' we meet, which is a blonde speedster.

A trip to the future later, Hiro sees mass destruction and his ass kicked by Ando who has Streetfighter's Ken and Ryu meets Mortal Kombat's Raiden's ability to shoot lightning bolts!

Suresh comes across a startling discovery on how adrenaline has something to do with activation of one's powers. Which leads to discovery that he can come up with something to give people powers. Which is not something Maya is looking forward to. Though the possible sex sound tempting, I guess.

He injects himself with the new stuff and goes through a Spiderman meets Venom transformation and has new found powers of amazing strength and agility. Spiderman? Yes, Spidey is now reincarnated as an Asian. Too Spidey! Already think Suresh is boring, being Spidey doesn't make him more interesting...

Sylar meanwhile pays a visit to Claire. He cuts her open, but of course she can't die. We find that she lost all sense of pain.

Instead of sucking out Claire's noggin, when she asks if he's going to do it, Sylar merely picks at it and comes out with the best line of the series with, "Eat your brain? Claire, that's disgusting!"

So he is now immortal too. And when Claire asks why he won't kill her, he replies the obvious that she can't die.

Meanwhile, Niki is back. No, not Niki Saunders, but another doppleganger in Tracy Strauss who is the Governer of New York's aide or something.

A new symbol appears with the helix now bright orange, running though Earth.

Episode 2 - The Butterfly Effect

Claire is all emo because she can't feel pain anymore because she thinks it makes her feel less human. So much so she throws herself in front of a moving train.

Angela sees Hiro stabbed with the sword, Matt with his throat slit, Knox killing Claire (you'll know who he is later - and she's beheaded which is the only way she can die), Noah and Peter dead as well. Angela is then confronted by Niki (or one of her many alter egos), what's the name of that dude - Matt's bad ass dad, Adam and Knox before she Sylar comes to her, presumably on her side.

It's some some of dream. She meets future Peter and tells him not to screw with the future. The butterfly effect, she mentions - step on a butterfly today, three years from now, a million people are wiped out.

Maya walks in on Suresh who shows off his new power, which includes getting horny, something not thought possible before this. And with a personality too! Yes, that does sound impossible doesn't it.

Anyway, it's not just powers that make him Spiderman like. He gets all this yucky boils and his body starts peeling with gunky chunks. Eew!

A reporter approaches Tracy and reveals her 'past' as Niki which she has no clue of.
On the second time, she grabs him and discovers she's got Mr Freeze powers! We always knew Ali Larter was a cold b***h so about time she got powers suited to her personality, despite the new personality not quite her.

She meanwhile approaches Nathan, and offers him a spot as a junior senator.
Hiro and Andi meanwhile travel to Daphne's apartment. She gets away again but not before he manages to plant a tracker on her.

Elle meanwhile is having daddy issues. When she finds out Sylar's in the building and her dad's dead, all hell breaks loose on Level 5.

Sylar is about to cut her open when her powers blows up in Sylar's face, letting loose some of the Level 5 inmates located in Primatech.

Angela Petrelli takes over as head of the Company. Sylar's in the slammer and Noah's gone, as are the inmates.

Noah goes back and tells Claire he has to track down the baddies, and leaves his family in the care of Meredith Gordon. Remember her? Claire's biological mother, who has the ability to cal up fire.

Matt wakes up to a speaking turtle or so he thinks. He meets his new friend.

A mention of Britney Spears later, he discovers he's in Africa.

He asks for a cell phone in a build up for a partner promo.
"No service here. Should have gone with Sprint!"
Ah... commercialism be thy name.

So he embarks on a 'spirit walk'.

The real Peter meanwhile is rolling with the juiced up hoodies and causing mayhem.

In the last scene, Angela reveals the biggest shocker of the episode.

That Sylar is also a Petrelli! Yes, Gabriel is the son of Angela, and the brother of Nathan and Peter, and uncle of Claire.

Episode 3 - One Of Us, One Of Them

Things continue with Bridget, who has the power of seeing the history of anything she touches.
Angela apparently has given the first gift to her son, by giving him another power, by allowing her to feed on her.

Noah meanwhile approaches Angela, to help put the inmates back behind bars.
The Haitian is unavailable - on assignment for Angela, and according to Noah it's the rule - one of us, one of them. Ah.. hence the title.

So the one of them in mind, is actually... Sylar!

Angela goes against Sylar's own belief he's just a killer and convinces him that he's more capable than that.

Present Peter in the body of Jesse, along with The German, Knox and Flint, pull their first job post Level 5 at a bank where we get a first taste of all their powers.

Why'd they have to kill of Jesse so fast?

Knox calls the police because he wants the Company recruits to show up to exact revenge. He kills the German (fastest death in Heroes history?).

Knox discovers Peter in Jesse.
Noah moves in alone, insisting Sylar stays back.
Noah is caught in a hopeless situation, especially when as present Peter unleashes Jesse's power, future Peter freezes time and pulls him out of Jesse's body.

When all of them recover - Noah's in deep s**t as Peter's out of Jesse.
Sylar comes to the rescue though. Flint is shot by Noah, while Sylar gives in to his urge for brains by killing Jesse and has sushi brains for lunch. So bye bye Jesse too.

Hiro and Ando track the speedster whom Hiro calls Nemesis. Her name's actually Daphne, and she's intercepting the exchange of another half of the formula in Berlin after selling off the half belonging to Hiro.

They discover their powers gone, and Hiro spots the Haitian which he has come across before, and suspects of pulling the deal for the other half of the formula.

They manage to grab it off the Haitian, but Daphne again, outwits them. Not too much of a task there.

Claire is meanwhile having issues with both her mothers.

And both are trying to get her off playing superhero, which doesn't work because she makes off with a box of Primatech documents.

Tracy meanwhile approaches Nathan, and says she wants to track down Niki to New Orleans.

She does. Niki's in a casket, having died from the fire (strange that there be no marks). She meets Micah, who immediately knows it's not Niki and loses hope of appearing in more episodes.
He helps her discover the link between Tracy and Nikki - both of them were born on the same day, in the same hospital with the same attending doctor present - Dr Zimmerman.

She pays him a visit - and the whole thing closes with his statement that, "I created you".

Matt gets a browse through of the art works of the African dude, which is everything off a stalker's dream - every single bit of Matt's life etched on the walls.

Except while the past is fine, the present has been erased. Turns out spooky African dude has Isaac Mendez like abilities to paint the future - complete with same cool pupil-less eyes.
Matt goes in the same trance with some help which assumably is for him to see what's going to happen.

Angela meanwhile still has faith in Sylar, while Noah and the Haitain reunite as Flint returns to Level 5 along with Hiro and Ando placed in the facility.

Episode 4 titled I Am Become Death will be available most probably by Tuesday. But if you have been following Heroes all this while and want some insight into what wil happen in the next few episodes (5- Angels And Monsters, 6 - Dying Of The Light), here are some SPOILERS below.
And if you haven't watched the first three episodes, oh bloody read it anyway cause you already found out too much by now. Be posting soon...

*SPOILERS*
-We'll get to learn the terrible truth about Sylar's secret past. If there's indeed anything more to Learn apart from being Angela Petrelli's other son. Perhaps?

- There'll be a Justice League-style battle between good and evil.We can already see that happening now, but it's supposed to be big time.

- We'll get to meet as many as a dozen new super-powered people. So far we've seen a handful, so it should be pretty interesting.

- Apart from the return of Linderman who was killed, and Claire's real mum returning, expect also to come back - Adam Munro or Takezo Kensei, and Niki Sanders. How the hell does Niki return when she's dead??? Cloning? With so many hers running around, not impossible.

- Hiro and Ando will be the one to return Kensei as they dig him out of the grave he's buried in.

- Suresh and Maya are obviously headed for a shag, but it doesn't end well.

- Seven of the 12 villains that will be unleashed from The Company’s Level 5 that will come into play are The German (can manipulate steel - killed last week), Eric Doyle (a puppeteer who can make people do his bidding), Benjamin “Knox” Washington (gains strength by feeding of fear of those around him - recaptured), Flint (can shoot blue fire from his hands - recaptured), Jesse Murphy (can project concussive power through use of his voice - got his brains sucked out by Sylar),Stephen Canfield (can create black holes), and Samedi.

The bad guys

- Matt apparently gets to see the future where now, everyone can fly (so AirAsia)

Production shots of shooting of the flying scenes

- Hiro may just ditch Ando who seems to be crossing over to the Dark Side. Ooh! Doyle gets to feature in this episode and Meredith, Claire's mum is the victim.

- There will the introduction of a rival company called Pinehearst Industries which will be joined by Hiro and several others.

- A fifth Niki will be introduced. After Niki, Jessica, Gina and now Tracy Strauss, get ready another one of Dr Zimmerman;s creations.

- Elle and Claire will end up BFF (best friends forever - well sort of) when Elle needs help to sort out herself from overloading her electric charges.

- Remember Molly? Sweet little thing will also return.

- There's be another Heroes romance (hope not as yucky as the Claire and West one)

- Weird alternate reality thing happens when Sylar takes over Bennet household and makes... waffles???!!!

- Hiro teams up with Daphne and Knox after Adam fails to produce any results in helping seek out the formula or the buyer who engaged Daphne.

Fire and water

Rajin lak aku kan tetiba nak blog lagik pagi ni. Short entry je. Pagik tadik tengah balik dari KL about 7am, ujan masih lagi lebat. Been raining since about half past four gituh. Caught some sleep.
But when I was heading home, still quite heavy.

Enjoyed a nice drive around quite empty KL. The only way to enjoy driving in KL... and the only time to.

Noticed some dark storm clouds. Not too unusual, except these were like isolated, and quite dark. Then realised. It was smoke clouds!

Masa tu area Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. There were large billowing smoke clouds. Saja nak amik pic, tapi cam aku tak bawak. Damn! Pastu Nokia aku lak habih battery. So 8.0MP digital camera da takde, 5.0MP Nokia phone conked out, kena la pakai 2.0MP Motorola nak snappy pic.

Dari jauh - from belakang Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad

Turning into Jalan Masjid India area

View a few hundred metres from the shop in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman

Just a little closer

They cordoned off the area, so tak nampak kedai mana yang terbakar tuh. So tatau kedai mana la. Sambil nak gerak balik, noticed something else.

Thanks to the heavy rain, Sungai Gombak dan Sungai Klang da nak melimpah ruah gituh. Check out the river. Ni masih during the downpour! Merasalah KL seb baik tak banjir! Ada la yang wat alasan stay kampung beraya lama sikit kan, katanya...

Panggung Bandaraya - leh nampak asap pon sikit

Masjid Jamek. Still safe from the rising waters

Facing direction of Central Market. Sikit lagik air da naik edge of Masjid Jamek

But I saw one thing that brought a smile to my face when I was heading back (despite being pissed that didn't have a good cam on me when I needed one)
Can you see it? It was clearer when i saw it. But it doesn't show too much in this pic. Still, focus... and make a wish.

Be posting more soon. Need to get my Heroes review out already!

From PM to AM

Nothing much to blog today. Spent the day watching the latest episodes of Project Runway (boo the fact that Kenley is still in for contention to go to Bryant Park for the finale), and America's Next Top Model (bittersweet moment for Clark to be kicked out cause I hated her in the start - and now I just don't mind her, but pity cause she had the best photo last week and this week she's out).

So anyway, smalam plan nak spend the night out on the town. Yer la... da Friday night. And been bored to death for quite a few days now kan.

So in the end lepak ngan member aku around KL, and met up more friends who joined in later.

Bloody roads in KL still light traffic (just approaching weekend numbers je on the road) but highways semua da start da jam! People filing in and out of the city for the weekend. Oh boy... mulai esok there's going to be hell to pay on those roads when everyone floods back!

Party!!!!....

Hung out.. partied... plan to hang till dawn. So no proper entries or rantings tonight. Just wanna have fun! Promise to post tomorrow...

...until the lights go out...

More f**king Abba!

Semalam lazing around, thinking about what to do. All my friends still sibuk beraya, while me, myself and I leh bangun at 7am sebab oversleep the day before.

Went a little crazy, plan nak gi kampung Juan kat Bentong with some friends kat sini. Then changed my mind and thought... a small expedition with mates to Genting Highlands or Port Dickson was in order. Nak merasa udara sedar ke, nak sun tan ke... anything better than ngadap laptop je keja.

So while was making up my mind, started fiddling around with my cigarette box collection. What, you say? Yes, my cigarette box collection. I collect, among many things, various types of erm.. Marlboro boxes locally produced and also from around the world.

Anyway, baru aku perasan why rokok luar negara tak sedap. Heh! I actually knew it before masa working at my old place and my Australian bosses got stoned with my Reds when they were smoking Marlboro Lights. But ni kali ni baru aku perasan, rokok kita yang paling power.

Tuh dia! From top to bottom. Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai produced Marlboro cigarettes! In comparison, Indo Marlboro Red contain 1.3 mg tar, while ours lak no less than 20mg katanya. Nicotine content pun jauh beza between 1.0mg and 1.5mg a stick.
The Thai produced Marlboro? No freaking Idea... tak reti baca.

Yeay! Malaysian die faster from lung cancer! Erm... no it does not in any way make me want to quit, as I'm still fine, thank you *bursts out in coughing fits*

Ni just some pics I took out of boredom of a small piece of my collection.

You have to love the warning on the dangers of smoking from the Thais

The left one is Swiss I think.. or Australian (but I don't think it's Ozzie). Member bagi tak ingat lak. And Indonesian one again on right. Heh...

Malas nakamik pic bebanyak lagik. Actually saja posting bab ni sebab sis bought like a carton worth of Reds from Jakarta for me.

Murah gila ok in comparison rokok sana ngan sini. Sana a box of 20s costs about RM4 kalau tak silap. As opposed to our RM9!!! Daylight robbery! Thank you, sin taxes! Alcohol tanak naikkan lak? Rokok lak pepandai naik je keja.

I think we rank up there with expensive fags actually. I know in the States, a box of 20s is about RM12 to RM22 (depending on state and varying taxes), Singapore lak about RM27. UK tak ingat. But RM20 lebih gak rasanya. Tak ingat. India - RM5.90 and Laos - RM4.30.
Cam isap rokok emas je skang. Heh...

Anyway, pas aku da bosan gaban, abih this part of the entry, finally decided, it was a me day.

So naik ler KL. On the way singgah Puchong jumpa minum ngan abang Bad, sebab Raya tak jenguk dia. Actually hadn't met him the whole of the fasting month. Borak borak... da masuk dua tiga jam da.

Pas settle, gerak ke KLCC. In the freaking storm!!! Argh! Ujan cam horror movie tau! Da la jalan tak heavy traffic, which is of course unusual by KL standards... which gave it a creepier effect. Just me getting paranoid out of boredom and setting my imagination loose to amuse myself actually.

But indeed it was raining pussies and bitches (more extreme version of raining cats and dogs la).

Mak aih! Ramainya manusia kat KLCC! Rasa cam da kat Dubai lak ngan Arab tourists berlambak. By the way, they remind me of Taiwanese tourists. Loud and rude. Erm... nuff said.

Went up and bought movie tickets. Initially nak tengok Mamma Mia! je, tapi last last opted for the 11.20pm show of that, and also bought the 9.50pm show of Flight Of The Livind Dead - Outbreak On A Plane.

Ok with a title like that, mesti da dapat tangkap, B grade horror. But what can I say. I love horror movies. I know some people walking around being a whole production on their own! Minus the make up effects - though with just as much work done. Matilah...Anyway grabbed some sushi before the show... and got a lot of funny stares for my red mohawk which has turned almost fluorescent pink thanks to being bored and fiddling with more peroxide.

Lantak la. But the service I have to say kat Sushi King KLCC ni cam pantat sikit. Horror tol nak amik order from the ala carte menu. Last last makan off the line je. With five minutes to spare, went up to the cinemas for movie number one.

I am so not going to really review this movie.

All i can say is to give you an indication how it is, if you've seen Snakes On a Plane, I think that was the title, starring Nicholas Cage... now imagine the whole movie, shot on what looks like the same set, with the same effects, but instead of snakes, with zombies and a similar plotline of of the freaky cargo escaping and running rampage among the passenger, and you have Flight of the Living Dead.

Still, I have to say, it was typical camp horror. Funny without being stupid. Jumped a few times, but not enough to make it amazingly horrific by my standards. Worth a watch, because the director made an effort to change the potrayal of zombies with obvious influences to the Japanese school of horror applications to all things freaky.

Is it worth a movie ticket? Considering my other choices were Senario the Movie - Episode 1, and Kami the Movie, and also I had a few scares (more than Susuk) and more than a few laughs (more than Congkak), yes it was worth it.

It'll put a smile on your face!

Movie was supposed to end five minutes after Mamma Mia! started, which would have been just nice once you take away the intro ads. But because my zombie fest started 10 minutes late (sampai aku ingat salah panggung da aku masuk), I went into Mamma Mia a little late.

Missed out one song, which I think was I Have A Dream cause I heard the tail end of it.

All I can say about Mamma Mia is -Abba is so f**king gay, you have to love it! Sang along to every bloody song... seb baik panggung tak penuh sangat. So I could sing a long without someone in the next seat cursing me and my family.

I had so many favourite songs in the show that it was like a concert! Tak sabar nak tengok the musical when it comes to Istana Budaya in December. Let's see, my favourite karaoke like moments - thanks to the lyrics at the bottom of the screen to help me out when I forgot a line were Money, Money, Money, Mamma Mia, Chiquitita, Dancing Queen, Our Last Summer, Super Trouper, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Voulez-Vous, SOS, The Winner Takes It All, When All is Said and Done, Take a Chance on Me and Waterloo as well as Than You For The Music right at the end. Yes, watch until way into the credits cause lagu non stop! Aku sampai kena jeling mamat Bangla keja sana tuh sebab dia nak tutup the hall da but I was still watching the credits singing along.

Cuma sentap sikit cause Knowing Me Knowing You didn't really make the soundtrack, apart from the instrumental backdrop.

The movie itself was just FUN! Meryl Streep was AMAZING (give that woman an Oscar for this!) while Pierce Brosnan was just a right bore who sounded like he had a Greek midget up his ass. That man can't sing! Meryl did so well but Pierce just screwed up totally! I don't expect amazing vocals - but dude sounded seriously like a karaoke reject from Hell who would have been right at home is he showed up on America's Got Talent in a thong and cape.

Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya were the life of the movie making up Donna And The Dynamos (matilah nama!)

The acting was not as rigid, and flowed throughout the musical. In fact they made it seem like a one off shoot without much rehearsal - not in a bad way, cause everything just seemed so quirkily free spirited.

Not exactly movie of the year material. But hey, when you have Meryl Streep and Abba, who cares about everything else. Worth it for those who remember the beautiful songs of Abba - or those who want to discover the campy tunes us oldies grew up on.

Oh yeah, by the way. Don't be like this minah yang dok depan aku kata, "eh... sedap kan lagu lagu dia.... pandai meka tulis semua lagu sedap tuk movie ni". Arghhh!!!!

Eh.. panjangnya aku melalut entry ni. Balas dendam. Anyway, things are slowly returning to normal I hope, and hopefully friends and extended family back to KL soon. Be updating soon...
