It's that time...

Da lama tak wat keja gila! Demi shopping that is.Last-last pagi tadik aku naik psycho. Mana taknya, abih Yok Sahur, lepak geng bebudak Murai tuk sahur kat Pelita Shah Alam.

Pas abih tu, since everyone else tak jadi, aku dan Elly je agree nak serang FJ Benjamin nya warehouse sale. Bayangkan dari malam sebelom tak mandi, sanggup ni. Ikut ke rumah Elly bagi dia freshen up. Aku stakat cuci moka bagai, pekena lotion je nak segarkan.

Kol 7.05am tepat da sampai depan pintu Ballroom where they were holding the warehouse sale.

Actually hari ni kira second day, since semalam the first. Tapi smalam tuk HSBC cardholders je, so ni kira first public day.

Happy gila cause we were among the first in the line. Number five and six to be exact. Seronok borak ngan this young Indian couple in front of us, and this Malay couple, dan keluarga Melayu behind us. Alamak... sorry la tak tanya nama semua. Tu la akibatnya mengantuk bagai.

Dah lah tension phone dua ketul abih battery. Yang Motorola lak gambar cam hampeh! Ni pics semua pon sempat snap ngan Blackberry time nyawa nyawa ikan.

Bayangkan kami dok dua jam menunggu pintu dibuka. Sapa tau FJ Benjamin tau la the brands they carry. Guess, Raoul, Nautica, Banana Republic... La Senza.. and bab jam ada Nike dan Chronotech skali.

Ni da masa nak masuk. Ada pembaca blog aku ni yang nampak diri masing-masing tak? Heh!

And the madness began!

Harga kira ok la... Guess getaway bags RM50 tuk dua. Mini handbags for RM80 and regular nya RM120 or so. Topi Guess, dan barangan leather terpilih small items, RM50 for two tak silap. Yang paling untung, Guess nya heels, murah agik dari last year, RM70 sepasang and RM100 tuk dua pasang. Amik ko!

Watches pon murah gak...

Tapi aku tak teruja sebab pattern semua cam azab sikit tahun ni.

Elly bantai beli banyak gak. La Senza paling untung. Baju dalam RM150 enam pasang. Amik ko!

Aku cuma bel satu benda je. Ada cream trenchcoat Banana Republic yang cantik sangat. Harga asal RM1299, dapat for RM350 jek. Best!

Tapi for men kali ni tak best sangat. Baju Raoul konon RM60 to RM180 tapi kebanyakan azab kalao murah. Yang cantik confirm RM150 to RM180, takde beza pon ngan off season outlet FJ Benjamin kat Klang.

So all in all, it was a waste of time when it came to shopping. But selamat la duit aku. Tak minat pon dua jam aku melangut dalam tu.

Ilang Elly dalam proses, so aku balik dulu. Claustrophobia aku tahap gampang! Mana taknya, dalam time posa posa pon, ada yang gila babas mengganas time nak shopping nih. Kasar gila. Tapi yang penting, ada yang bawak anak - dan tak reti jaga sampai anak kena pijak bagai. Hish! Kalao takleh handle, jangan la bawak. I saw this father dragging the daughter to the watch counter... anak dia kecik orang tak nampak cause the father was pushing in, anak dia kena dush sana dush sini.

Hish... aku balik umah da pon sampai kol 2. Bak keta pon tak betol da time tu...

Ni baru jaga. Nak siap kuar ngan kengkawan later tonight.

Oh my God! I'm possessed!! Kena rasuk gila kena shopaholic-ism tahap cipert sangat sebab takleh stop spending! Times like this lega I alraady cut up my credit cards. Semalam gi Ikea lagik.

And spent a few more hundred on some things for the house. Shelves, lamps, bathroom stuff... etc Argh!!! Matilah camni. And I'm not even done yet! So many other things to do and get! Damn damn and triple damn!

Meanwhile, back to the story of shopping. Aku nak naik gila ngan warehouse sales yang bersepah sekarang! Am going to make time for this one tomorrow, which I must be crazy cause it totally slipped my mind berapa hari nih.

Sebenarnya aku overspending, with shopping je keja - especially nak dapat kelengkapan pejabat tuk my new space, but there are just so many offers too good to pass up.

But anyone yang nak join, see you there, though maybe kalao fragrances aku tak spend sangat kot sebab I got more than enough (I think ada dalam empat lima botol unopened lagik) left still of various brands - including my favourite Dreamer from Versace. Sale!!!!

First things first, I want to apologise if you guys expect a posting about me going to Jelajah 11 Era or even that concert at Bukit Jalil.

Semalam aku busy sangat. So tak gi any entertainment event.

In fact, this entry will probably only be attractive to the ladies, those who love shopping, and bargain hunters... most of whom will fall into the shopaholic category. Like me! I can never resist a bargain.

Awal pagik kuar ke Centro kat Klang. What for? The FJ Benjamin Warehouse sale!!! Yeah! Twice a year, and this is the first for this year, and it's in Klang, tak sampai lima minit dari rumah aku (kalao lalu jalan kol 4 pagik masa takde keta... otherwise it's a good 10 to 15 minutes... damn you MPK!)

Aku naik gila and spent a total of RM600 over. Want to see how things were and what I bought? Nih dia...

Aku sampai exactly 9am! Doors open at 10am, so in warehouse sales time zone, I was considered very late! Tapi entah camna, rezeki aku, there were only about 20 people ahead of me.



So I plugged in my headphone, layan lagu, and pulled my shades down so I could have a quick nap. Bila bukak mata ten minutes laters, there was about several dozen other people behind me already. Amik ko!

By 10am, there was easily I think, close to a thousand people lining up. Matilah ko! Aiyoh! And most of them looked serious. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Warehouse sales are miracles, because an arthritic 82 year-old woman can suddenly spring to life, and bash you on the head just to fight over a purse she likes (I speak from experience)

When the doors opened, all hell broke loose. These three Ah Lian girls yang tak beratur and skipped ahead (walaopon sampai minutes before the door opened) to join a friend just behind me, got vicious and cut in front of me. Sabar... aku diam je. Malas nak ngamuk. Tapi sungguh kurang ajar.... matilah balik je la Pulau Ketam! Not only were they rude, I had to put up with their loud yapping in Cantonese... reminding me of the time I was stuck between two Taiwanese tourists talking loudly on a plane.

The four, rude and very loud Ah Lians in front of me. Shame on you!


I turned behind and found the line snaking about the first floor of Centro. Gila ah! Macam tak gerak langsung padahal the line WAS moving.



Then it started. Everyone got vicious. I couldn't get close the Nautica, , Nike, GC or Guess watches sebab everyone crowded there. Maybe because all the prices for the watches were only between RM140 to RM280. So I planned a quick system. Bags, shoes, then clothes.

And this is what I got after perjuangan satu jam setengah and how much it cost me. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Three pairs of Guess shoes. Beli sepasang RM90. Kalau dua, Rm150. So these three cost me RM240.

I am so thinking of going again today sebab nyesal tak pick up some items. And usually, mesti ada last minute durian runtuh additional 20% discount. So me going sebelom top kedai. Korang kalao kat area Klang carik je Centro.

Me hoping for the Guess luggage yang only RM180. Also some nice Banana Republic, Raoul and Guess tops and pants (ada for ladies and men) yang going cheap. Yummy!

Sapa nak beli baju anak, the have the kids selection too (yang aku perasan for Gap and Guess), while sunglasses ada selected range from Guess. Harga tak pasti. Aku tak venture sana sangat. Stakat lalu je.

Abih tuh happy gila! I love a good bargain! And I love warehouse sales (korang mesti perasan entry pasal warehouse sales Estee Lauder and Lewre and such kalao slalu baca sini). So therapeutic.

Anyway pas abih ada urusan kat Ampang. Sepatutnya 2pm, tapi it was delayed until 3pm. Sungguh ngantuk.... akibat drained of energy because of the wrestling at the sales.

Finally abih everything (acara ni rahsia so takleh cakap apa) by 7pm. Grabbed a quick dinner and patutnya rush Shah Alam, tapi ngantuk sangat leh tertido dalam keta (stop kat rest area la, bukan masa driving)

Bila bangun terkejut da kat depan Plaza Damas. Bila aku drive sana. Matilah mengantuk sangat last I remember was driving out of KL town je. Matilah!!!!! Aiyo! Never ever do that! They should have a disclaimer at warehouse sales of its effect on how it can make you sleepy and drowsy for the remainder of the day just like cough medicine.

Headed back to Klang ada urusan lain. Erm... also cannot say pasal apa. But follow-up meeting awal tadik. Sempat dok ngadap laut kat Tanjung Harapan, otherwise known to Klang-ites as Tanjung Gila!




I generally hate being close to the sea when it's dark. Phobia sebab aku leh nampak benda bukan-bukan. Tapi this time it was calming. I like!

Ni sampai umah terus nak KO. Esok je aku blog lagik ok. And for fans yang follow-up on Akademi Fantasia related news, tunggu entry Isnin. Ada something special sebab kami nak adakan mini gathering. Bukan fan club ke apa-apa... but among the kids and tenaga pengajar and such. Tunggu ek.

I hate closet fags

Pagi tadi ke mahkamah. Actually I was on the way to a warehouse sale to stock up on perfumes.. I mean.. beli stuff for birthdays past for my sis and colleague dia Jida yang baik tuh.

Then dapat SMS tanya "Are you coming" from Faz. Aku pun balas kemana. Sebaik je aku send the message, I was like.. f**k!!! Hari ni Jumaat! Court case dia!

Alamak! Damn!

Aku pun turn around nak ke court. Seb baik masa tuh kat NKVE da area exit Damansara so it was pretty near dah.

Dok dalam courtroom tuh sakit jiwa. Kenapa? Sebab ada sorang sotong kurita goreng tepung nih dengki gila wat hal ngan aku.

First aku kena tegur masa start proceedings tuh sebab I had my sunglasses on my head. Oopsie! My bad! I got the evil eye dari bapok rambut fringe senget tuh, and dia send a note to the same policeman yang tegur aku tuh. Alamak... aku dok with my legs crossed pun dia perasan. Aiyo.. you know how uncomfortable is it tak nak dok dua jam ngan prosecutor yang erm... well let's just say I have never had any lesser ambition to be in the legal field or in the police thanks to him.

So aku peluk tubuh. Skali lagik kena tegur. Aiyak. Matila ko! Tak kisah la sebab kena hormat magistrate. Tapi yang aku panas tuh, ramai dalam tuh dok peluk tubuh, silang kaki and so on tak kena tegur pun. Kimaknya tomyam seafood tuh yang target aku jerk.

Terus turn off mood aku. Spent the remainder of the period in court so bloody still sebab malas octopussybadhair tuh wat hal lagik.

Finally when it was over, aku tengah angin satu badan menyumpah dak tuh aku tak kuasa nak amik pics apa apapon.

By the way, Faz punya case submission on 29 August, skali ngan verdict on that day. Finally after four years, the case will end. Thank goodness. Hope things ok for Faz jer la.

Left for lunch ngan Faz, Jojoe (adik Faz yang now nicknamed Mojo by me) and Juan for lunch kat Damansara.

We then parted ways. I rushed for the warehouse sale, and YEAY! I kept to my budget. Well... kind of...



Besh nya aku dapat restock my Versace Dreamer. Tu memang fave aku dari dulu. Aku da berapa botol da, tapi tinggal one more je yang half full. So whacked two bottles for myself, satu bagi my sis as the first part of her birthday present, while the 50ml Mango perfume and the cream was for Jida. 100ml tu aku bagi mak aku sebab dia suka Mango Adorably tu gak, apart from the Chanel Allure and Boucheron Jaipur yang susah nak dapat sini.

Headed home to Bangsar for some shut eye. Letih gila tak cukup tido je keja.

Tak sempat nak jumpa bebudak Samsons ke nak tengok sound check ke yang into the night.
Jaga pun da kul berapa. Sempat jumpa Tang sat nak borak pasal preparation bebudak tuk show esok.

The running order for the event will be followed by Samsons, Sheila On 7, Ungu, Peterpan and wrapped up with Slank sebab meka paling senior. So kalao Samsons fans, please get there by 4pm latest or you might miss their show. And rugi kalao tak catch them in action.

Tang passed to me the additional passes. Yeay.. esok lepak ngan Bam and Co. Also discussed a project in the works. Me likey! He also passed me the latest releaseof Sebuah Nama Sebuah Cerita which is Peterpan's greatest hits double CD album. Tatau la available kat sini ke tak lagi.



Not a big fan of Peterpan, but I also got to hear Dewa 19's new song apart from a couple of to be released tracks. Interesting...

Eh ok la.. nak sambung tido. Esok nak keluar awal.

Decisions

First of all, I mentioned semalam aku tengah pikirkan sesuatuh. Finally came to a decision, and this is what I have to say.

Terima kasih bab semua yang sokong ketika kemunculan aku dalam telemovie Gaia arituh, it was a learning experience for me in so many ways.

However, ngan musim kedua tengah shooting, aku da cadang nak tarik diri dari production for season two. So no more Master G, unless they still keep the character in with someone else.

Yang penting, aku da pikirkan masak masak, I don't think I want to do it for season two.
Moving on, berapa hari nih, aku sebenarnya nak rehat. Yerlah, Akademi Fantasia sudahpun tamat. Time to focus on so many other things that I need to do.

Benci sebenarnya the corporate practise, ngan paperwork pelbagai, but hey.. nak masuk dunia ni kena belajar lor.

Yang penting, mulai sekarang usaha aku, aku yang akan get credit, and get paid for it.

Biasanya kalao wat sesuatu sebelom ni, kekadang tak dapat credit, kekadang tak dapat bayaran, kita wat kerana passion, but I guess that's always mistaken for being gullible. It has happened too many times to me in the past, and while I never used to mind, now I do. Other people rake the benefits, takkan aku tak deserve to get a piece of the pie.

Need to work harder to continue on the path to my dreams, and not allowing anything to stop me.

Today was one of the many days thay will be my staple routine for the near future. Paperwork.. preparing proposals and all.

Tapi nak jadik cita, pagi tadik ke warehouse sale. Hari pertama of a three day sale tuk jenama Lewre. Kira tiga empat ratus gak ler harga kasut kasut dia.

Aku pun sibuk ke sana awal pagik da gih. Benda tuh start kol 10 pagik. Aku sampai 10.15 pagik da gila!

Orang berasak tak hengat cam bagik kasut pree jerk. Mana taknya. I got a tan pair of pumps for my mom. Retail price about RM300 plus harga sebenar. Simple but classic. Harga sale? RM70 jerk.

For my sis, two pairs of black pumps, one dekat pattern Guess dia beli, for just RM50! Another pair tuh dapat tuk RM30 jerk. Matilah harga pun cam Jukebox lak (motif tahu jerk tahu harga Jukebox?) walaupun leather.

Also a pair of party heels in pink for my sis punya member which had several rows of diamante also at RM70.

Kan da kata... aku ni shopaholic. Walaupun beli tuk orang lain pun kepuasan tak terhingga tau! Janji discount. Damn! Ni lah akibatnya sejak dapat duit VSS control sangat bab shopping. Sampai kasut heels bukan aku leh pakai pun leh abihkan RM220. But all in all, the retail price for the four pairs of shoes (two Lewre, two under the Luxury brand) pun da over a thousand. So definitely worth it.

And more so bila mak aku try dia suka sangat sebab orang tua aku ni suka nak vogue nak pakai heels. My mom funky ok.. umo jer 62, tapi tetap maintain.

Esok thinking about going back again, so sapa nak ikut jom!

Just kena beranikan diri sikit.

Whoever coined the phrase that the women are the weaker sex, has to be a man because he has not only not gone through labour, tapi tak pernah ke shoe sale! Time ni la kaum Hawa mengganas ok!

I swear I got whacked out of place by a 70 year old woman who was angling for a pair of heels yang ijo pucuk pisang gituh. Matilah! Had to do a little pushing and shoving walaupon rasa bersalah sebab aku lelaki tak elok gituh nak tolak pompuan.

But hey..bab sale ni, it's all about equality of the sexes!

Seb baik aku da lama risik shoe size mak aku (a six).Aduh... tapi worth it siot. Korang kalao sempat usha gi lah. Tapi pada ladies yang kaki bukan antara size 5 to 8 tuh, baik gi awal sebab other sizes payah nak cari kalao lambat. Ko hengat ko sorang jer nak kasut mahal for a cheaper price?

For your info, the shoes memacam pattern ada. From wedges to pumps to sandals to court shoes... kasut lelaki pun ada. Semua antara RM30 to RM70, though none to my liking. Go take a look. Definitely one of the best sales in a while.

Sampai rumah tengahari, tido jap sebab letih siot mengharungi lautan wanita wanita pantang tengok kasut murah..

Got up a few hours later and continued proposals.

Malam ada meeting nak discuss some projects. Ada berkenaan budak finalist Akademi Fantasia musim keenam ni... tapi takleh cita lebih for now. Hush hush... tunggu confirm aku announce. Tapi aku rasa bebudak fan club pun da tau. Tapi diamkan dulu ek... nanti aku mention sini bila confirm.

Dalam time lepak ngan geng Maestro, Haziq dan ayahanda dia and his sister pun ada. Sempat cita pasal album Haziq. Cantik cover (tapi ingat ek Ziq.. buang payung tuh)

Haziq pose handphone dia... lama punya ok.. dia jenis bersederhana tak suka tayang. At least ada kaaaaan...

Ouch! (Or the pains of a shopaholic)

You know how they say yang wanita ni insan yang lemah (sexist though for some physically true perhaps) or how women can't defend themselves? I found out today that, that is totally NOT TRUE!!!

They just need motivation.

And what's the best motivation, especially for majority of female shopahoics? Massive discounts and the word SALE!

Aku tak tidur semalaman after AC Di Sini sebab ada jemputan ke closed sale Estee Lauder Group of Companies.

Sale bermula 8 pagi, but being the experienced shopaholic, aku da cakap kakak aku awal awal kita kena ada kat sana 5.30am.

Gila?

You'll be surprised. Tengok je jenama yang sale tuh! Estee Lauder, Clinique, Aramis, Bobbi Brown, M.A.C., Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Michael Kors dan Origins.

Still my sis tak caya, so spent the night watching the fourth season of The L Word (best gila series ni - the female version of Queer As Folk) sampai 5.30 pagik) bla Halim call. Rupanya dia maki aku sebab dia caya aku sampai ada kat venue kol 5.30am da!

Sentap dia dapat tau aku masih kat rumah Bangsar. Five minutes later dia call, with a tone of disbelief. "Wei!!! Da 50 orang lebih depan aku wei!!! Datang cepat!!!)

Erm... aku pun paksa kakak aku siap, bought breakfast for Halim yang hold our place in the line, and sampai at about 7am. The sight was FRIGHTENING!!!

Baru dok nak makan.. with about 50 over people in front of us, and about a thousand behind us, meka announce nak start da sale. Alamak... the energy was overwhelming. You could feel everyone warming up their purses and wallets and credit cards!

Aku wolf down my food secepat mungkin and took a swig of Coke for energy and that much needed sugar rush, before geared up.

I knew this was going to get violent!!!

The tension built, and it wasn't like going into a sale.. cam nak berperang lak! Aduh!!! But dalam panik kena pijak by a four foot auntie who looked around with a mean look, as if daring anyone to beat her to the fragrance counters, I felt good!

Aku pun gear up... and when the doors open, we surged in. They let in about 100 people only, so I was among the first batch. Truly amazing was the sight that greeted me...

Rows and row and rows of displays! I'm in shopaholic heaven!

Mana nak start pun tatau... juling jadiknya camni. Aku ke fragrance area dulu. Cek harga, tak berkenan sangat because the mark down wasn't that great. Maybe about RM30 to RM40 jer. Not much compared to the last sale where I spent RM1600 plus on almost 20 bottles of perfume.

So aku rush to skin care... alamak... da abih! Banyak barang da nak finish da. I saw some women with FOUR huge plastic bags yang da penuh. Aiyo!! Meka ni main grab je ke. Memang pro shopaholics tul!!!

There was this adrenaline rush. Pernah tak tengok this old game show called Supermarket Sweep? It was something like that. Just grab and run to another item to grab and throw into your shopping bag sebelom moving on.

Rushed to the M.A.C. and Bobbi Brown area and started grabbing. Yerp... I love their stuff, and so does my mom and sis.

And in about half hour were done.

Letih...emotionally and physically. Seriously... aku penah main rugby in the main scrum pun tak camni. I was savaged by these women who were hungry for a good discount!

The damage? RM310! Kakak aku punya dekat RM500 da. Halim punya bawah RM200 kot.
Kuar je dari dewan... this was the scene outside the grand ballroom.

Sesak!!! Penuh ngan orang masih nunggu peluang nak masuk. Each and every person waiting to be let in outside, were eyeing our bags with hatred seolah cam "damn!!! that's my discounted stuff there!" Ha ha... sucks to be you. Lan kali kuar la awal sikit.

We headed on downstairs nak go towards the lift to the basement nak amik keta aku.. terkejut beruk!!!! Ni pandangan tingkat ground floor (the sale was in the grand ballroom on the first floor)

Mak aih!!! Beribu orang lagik. Once we got our car out, we saw all entrance and exits to the hotel jammed up!!! Half of KL's shopaholics had turned up for the sale. Merasalah ko!

Aiyo... scary!!! Thank goodness we got done quick.

So this is our acquisition.

Yang left tuh part of barang barang my sis beli. Aku punya on the right. Between us we had a ton of M.A.C., Bobbi Brown, Clinique, DKNY and Michael Kors items. Erm.. kenapa ada Crocs skali? What can I say... nama pon shopaholic... pair number two!


Letih tapi satisfied... today started early... but it was amazing! Ok. Tak larat da. Nak tidur. Malam lak nak PARTY!!!
