Tuk sapa yang minat kedua band legend gila - take note, Konsert Gemuruh Double Trouble kat Penang di Tapak Ekspo, Seberang Jaya pada 18 Disember dan yang main, besar-besaran kat Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon pada 25 Disember.

Kopek!

Tadi gi layan Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Panjang gila dan ngarut title, kan?

Tapi sumpah, the sequel to Zombi Kampung Pisang is awesome. Kalau ko enjoy Zombi Kampung Pisang ko akan suka la ngan Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. I absolutely love it - and I think it rocks socks, sebab dalam celah lawak cam gampang - ada gak messages inserted, so you can watch it in a popcorn manner, or you can just intellectualize it. Matilah katanya...

I don't want to give away anything about the film, but it's DEFINITELY worth a watch - especially tang hantu kopek muncul. I like! The first ten minutes semua da gelak guling gila babiks da - bukan menggigil cam tengok 2 Alam (bak kata dDR Rozmey lah...)

Aku impressed with how they did it - sebab aku masa gi shooting ada nampak potential in a lot of the scenes, tapi risau gak merapu gak kekadang.

Pas abih PC sempat kita semua lepak borak-borak. I love creative minds like Afdlin Shauki dan Mamat Khalid because sitting down and talking to them is simply inspiring.

Ok... sometimes like Afdlin they give me weird pictures to dok pelik korek hidung to post in my blog - but hey... ok pe.

Anyhoo, ni lak si kak Vee. Tambah cantik. Tapi tengok balik pic aku snappy ni cam Fauziah Latiff lak rupanya. Anyway next year da la nak ganti Maya Karin tuk Nona, ni lak dia bagitau pasal dia akan jadi antara pengacara Anugerah Skrin. Semakin meletup!

Ni some random snaps of Wanda dan Opie, member wartawan pala gila. Love preview belah malam ni sebab dapat rilek semua tak kejar masa sangat - unlike most previews yang wat pagi buta.

Sempat snappy Pekin yang ada small role too. Da potong rambut ni nampak cam Ijoy lak, laki kak Shirah.

CAK! Tuh dia, rambut konsep Goldilocks bagai dari Awie. Ni ngan Fiza, wartawan tuk DIVA kat RTM. Anyway happy birthday Awie who turns (umur dirahsiakan gituh) at the stroke of midnight!

Going for long mamak session pas ni nak borak pasal banyak benda. Biasalah kalau semua dalam bisnes ni kumpul mesti ada tukar-tukar cita.

Can you believe it. At this hour, I am in my second meeting and pas nih one more to go before I call it a day.

In between sempat selit nak gi usha rehearsal Cuci The Musical. Merasalah. Damn, I am so tired. Tapi sebab hidup aku takde orang sponsor, kena lah usaha carik makan sendiri. Hah! Actually, bukan sebab cari makan... sometimes it's not only about the money...

Anyways, am so happy today.

Oh yes... the cake? Kak Vee nya birthday, so brought a cake for her. Love her to bits. She's so down to earth and humble. And I have to say, pas tengok dia keja set Jalan Lama on location, she is one of those talented sorts yang tak banyak songeh, unlike a lot of names these days.

Dia ngan Shidi memang pala rock gila.. selamba kodok - to borrow Afdlin's phrase of choice.

Anyway, today's meetings was to finalise the details for flash mob project. Not just any flash mob. We're aiming for THE BIGGEST flash mob in the country.

Yes, if you will be in Kuala Lumpur at the end of October, you HAVE to be in on it.

Especially if you are going for the CONCERT OF THE YEAR!

Wow! I'm suprised!

Hari ni 09/09/09 and setakat ni takde berita membanjiri on the special occasion. Too much happening in the country for people to bother about more trivial, lighthearted stuff kot. Kan elok kalao leh jadi shallow and ignorant like some... that way mentaliti ada aku kisah can just take over.

Anyway, a quick note. The cow-prits were charged today. FINALLY!

Will the law find them guilty? Entah... will it have an impact on the upcoming by-election. Most probably.

Sedih kan. Bukan je negara lain nak hentam kita, orang kita - yes orang KITA -we are MALAYSIANS after all, nak spend more time bickering with each other gak. Gila kan?

Anyway, semalam got quite a bit of work done, pastu rush ke Istana Budaya tuk launching Cuci The Musical. Sounds fun, though honestly don't have a clue how it's going to be presented, but should be interesting.

Apart from the main cast in Afdlin, Hans, Awie and sapa nama sorang agik tuh... owh yeah AC, ada gak my faves in Adibah Noor, Vanidah Imran. Ada gak Harith Iskandar. It sounds like fun, so we'll see how that pans out.

After I was done with that lepak with kak Vee (not Vanidah, the other Vee in Nur Aliah Lee) kat Pelita. Dinner post berbuka katanya. Banyak gak borak.

Abih je, jumpa the other Vee (Vanidah this time) and gi ke FRIM di Kepong tuk sambungan shooting dalam hutan tuk cita Jalan Lama. Banyak ok dalam hutan. Kecuali hutan ni tak ada... erm... 'penonton' macam masa kat Belum (and apparently kat Hulu Langat, the other location)

Cantik sangat set kat sana. Me likey! Amik ko scene nih.. ada katil tengah hutan belantara!




Tujuannya? Layan pic Vee dan Flin posing sat.



Motifnya tuk hot, love scene (propah kuat ke betul ni) between Que dan Marion Caunter. Erm.. tanak komen lebih. Tunggu cita ni kuar. Meanwhile, this is part of it kat director nya viewing area.

Lepak set dari tengah malam, sampai 7.30 pagik tadik! Aiyo! Malam ni meka last day of shooting before wrap. Vee racun turun padang tengok... sebab dia ada scene. Tengok kalao larat. Esok pon ada banyak event buka puasa.

In order of importance to me, ada preview of Papadom, then ada launching album Tahajjud Cinta by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, buka puasa MIG dan PC Awan Dania 2.

Kalao ikutkan aku, aku nak gi dua, Papadom dan Tahajjud Cinta.. but see how. Ok nak abihkan keja sikit lagik so esok clear. And hopefully malam ni dapat lepak set Jalan Lama agik.

Berbuka lagi

Malas nak posting pepanjang sebab banyak gambar. Today ke buka puasa Astro Shaw, which of course includes Tayangan Unggul (holler out to the lovely folks there - Tengku, Gaya, Anita and Co). Ni pics yang sempat aku amik.

Let me kick off with this first pic I absolutely love!

Why do I love it? Aku pernah letak pic Michelle from Melodi on my blog before this. Tapi kali ni aku letak dia ngan Awie. He looks scary at best... tapi dia ni relax gak kalao you know how to speak to him.

But that's not the reason aku letak this pic. the reason is, of late, Melodi banyak kena kutuk for their sensational stories, and Michelle especially is put down by many for her straightforward questions.

People... it's a job. If you really don't like it, don't watch it. Where there's demand there's supply. Simple economics.. du-uh. Kesian lak kekadang tengok Michelle kena bang teruk akibat jalankan tugas.

Oh well, people who can't... b****h. I want to see anyone who dares comment about not doing the job right, or talking about ethics, lasting even a day in the demanding job as an entertainment journalist, especially when you have to be savage to get your stories, and still be human because you ache to cast your personal opinions or beliefs aside.

Taking orders for the sake of professionalism, and getting the job done, is so easily labeled so many things daripada orang tak paham. Michelle, girl... shout at to you. You're doing a good job. If I wanna b****h about my fellow writers, only two names come to mind... but that's a different story altogether.

Isn't that cute!

Semalam gi rakaman Raya Melodi. Sebenarnya takde mood sangat sebab entah...tiba-tiba rasa tak sihat.

At the same time, sebab ada keja bertimbun sikit kat opis, amik ko...sampai pon da kul 8 lebih. Ramai gak ler artis yang ada...malas nak list kan sapa hadir. Tapi kalau keluarga Akademi Fantasia, ada Zahid dan Farah.

Tengok ler posa Zahid tu...adus...dia ni kan susah mau serious kalau mau amik pic! Tu pose nak bersyukur ke...jadik bomoh menyeru jin haper aa??

Nikki pun ada...hah! Sapa dok tunggu-tunggu album Nikki takyah dok tunggu lama-lama lagi. Her album will be out very soon.

Oh...by the way...semalam walaupun letih ke apa ke...smalam, this feeling of euphoria took over. Entah kenapa...oh by the way..ada ler member ni call bagitau Fuad call dia dari KLIA, say bye-bye sebab dia da berlepas gi Dublin nak sambung belajar.

Aku da dengar benda ni dalam dua minggu...nak gelak gak.

I mean...never in the history of Akademi Fantasia ada failure yang nak comply ngan contract tiga tahun Maestro...so far ler. But I suppose when you're the least popular...dan realiti takkan ada album...and hardly any peminat...

Nak belajar tu bagus ler...tapi...kalau da terpaksa sebab show tak jalan...then sedih ler. Perasan dan attitude melebihi bakat....last-last abihkan duit orang tua agik nak go try make something out of your life. All I can say is some people are lucky that their parents are well off...kalau tak...entahlah.

Anyway...I now abide by the saying...'Good riddance to bad rubbish!'
