Sapa layan twitter aku mesti bosan ngan aku meroyan pasal jalan sesak je kan. Especially masuk bulan puasa, ya ampun, tak kira waktu traffic backed up everywhere.

Kalau jam camni tak pe gak. Biar ke arah orang nak gi... bukan mana aku nak gi dah.

Tapi hado nasib nak harap? Especially kalau da tanda-tanda awal camni. Beberapa titis ujan je.. alamatnya? Armageddon la jalan KL semua.

Tengok... buktinya? Sentp sungguh. Berejam sangkut. Risau je hari kedua pon kena buka dalam keta.

Seb baik sempat sampai Pavilion with five minutes to spare sebelum waktu berbuka. Layan la Elly, Anne dan Faizal berbuka. Yeay... paling tidak takde la keseorangan cam semalam.

Berbuka apa ek rasanya?

Tuh dia. Makan minum, ada aku kisah? Ala jin kena makan asap yang penting. Heh...

Camna hari pertama posa korang?

Aku nya? Seperti dijangkakan...sebab ada meeting nya pasal - berbuka je dalam keta. Sorang diri lak. Sodih!

By the way - sapa nak tanya aku kenapa puasa, takyah la. Soalan basi.

Aku posa sebab nak. Memang aku tak wajib, tapi aku dari dulu posa sebaik yang mampu. Dalam idup aku, penah dua kali la posa penuh. Nothing great, tapi leh la...

Apapon, had a good meeting (nanti aku umumkan apa dia), and it was worth berbuka sendirian dalam kereta.

By the way, berbuka dalam keta kat kawasan Amcorp Mall kat PJ. Pas berbuka nak gerak balik tuh, nampak nih. Motif banjir sedangkan tak ujan?

Take a closer look at the pics. Bukan je kes paip bocor ni. Ni cam jalan mendap da. Berlubang bagai. Horror gak nak lalu jalan tu takut keta masuk lobang sebab tak nampak kerana air.

Feel it right

Had my nephew's birthday party earlier today. Whoopie...what fun.

Sorry if I hardly sound ecstatic. Aku ni jenis not into family gatherings of any sort. Memang aku manja dan rapat ngan keluarga, but it's more of my immediate family than anything else.

But ni anak cousin aku yang ok ngan aku...so boleh la.

Pas abih, rushed to delicious at marc residences.

It was for a tea party. Matilah feeling nak tea party bagai.

Sponsored by Sabah Tea and organised by the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) and National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), it's a tea party with a difference.

It's to raise awareness for cancer, specifically breast cancer in this case. Being the digital ambassador for POCC or the Power Over Cervical Cancer, this was for me something linked to my role.

The project aims to encourage fellow Malaysian's to host a fun tea party for friends, family or workmates at their chosen venue and at the same time do their bit for charity by making a small donation to raise funds that will be channeled to BCWA and NCSM in an effort to support them to continue to offer their services to the public.

Since BCWA is there, sure have some "teaching material" to teach us how to discover different breast conditions, and learn to check for lumps. There are "breast with no lumps", "breast with fibrocystic tissue" (harder than the normal one) and "breast with lumps" (you can feel there is a hard stuff inside the breast).

The tea party launch was for the media and bloggers, where sukarelawan, who were also breat cancer survivors, gave us a little insight into prevention by detection and so on.

While some of you may laugh, women, please do know the difference on how to detect lumps. And no, guys, learning about it doesn't mean you can volunteer to check it for the women.

Thanks so much to everyone, including delicious for the great spread. Please... do take time to surf these sites and learn a little bit that can help save you, or someone who is dear to you.

Fairyland

Semalam menggila... layan si Ted bosan... we decided to have a roadtrip!

Ke mana? Destinasi? Ke kedai tomyam terbesar di Malaysia. Tak paham?

Melaka lah... kenapa aku aku panggil Melaka kedai tomyam terbesar di Malaysia? It's one of the only states that abusively uses way too many colour lights. Lampu lip lap bersepah bagai! Talk about tack-o-rama!

Don't get me wrong. I love Melaka. But seriously, one can go blind or become disoriented driving in Melaka waktu malam.

And dare I mention the horrendous traffic? Selain Penang, aku rasa pemandu Melaka la yang paling ting tong sekali. Slow mo gila! Pastu yang paling perangai hado aku kisah. And you thought KL drivers were horrible.

And one more thing. Walaopon proximity ngan Johor dan KL... tapi seriously bebudak yang lepak need to style it up.

One thing aku perasan is, tak kisah aaa rambut karat ke, pakai baju ketat ala sarung nangka ke... feeling stylo camna pon. Ada satu benda sama je, tak kisah rempit ke adik-adik ke... or anyone for that matter.

Exhibit A. Ni pic masa kami melantak kat McDonalds. Ada dua meja nampak dalam pic ni.

One is a bunch of straight rempits. Satu lagik adik-adik sutun. Can you tell which is which?

Tuh dia...walaopon biasa adik-adik fashionable bagai, in Melaka - everyone pakai selipar jamban. Matilah flip flops.

Spent a few hours je kat Melaka before drive balik KL. Why? Entahlah.. saja jalan-jalan makan angin dan makan sana. Nak jumpa adik angkat aku pon tak sempat. Damn... this must be the saddest Saturday night in my life.

Selphy!

I wanted this since aku nampak kat pelancaran Celebrities Club (now renamed Celebrities Hall of Music) owned by our very own Ning Baizura.

It's a Selphy - a portable printer. Leh pakai apa jenis media card atau USB connection - to download and print out postcard sized pics. Siap leh wat graphic editing bagai.

And thanks to miss Ning ku tercayang - I got it!

Tuh dia kakak aku tuh pose ngan hadiah birthday aku. A little belated, but takpe. Sebab tak sempat jumpa the past couple of weeks, tadi jumpa Ning dia pass kan.

Female

I don't know if you guys recall that I mention aku ada wat interview with a magazine before this. About a month or two ago.

Well, it's finally out. While I never told you guys the publication - here it is. The August issue of Female magazine!

Bangga aku! Mana taknya. Female ni antara majalah mak aku baca dari zaman 70an. In fact, I have to say I was inspired by a lot of the fashion trends dari kicik lagik and that has served me well now in my career and business ventures, knowing just a little bit more than the average male when it comes to all things fashionable.

The best thing is, the three page spread cita pasal aku not just as a blogger, but as a senior entertainment journalist yang da masuk bisnes ni da 14 tahun. Ada la sikit-sikit cita aku tak penah cita kuar gak. Matilah aku...walaopon ada yang salah tulis sikit. Heh...takpe.

Aku carik everywhere for the magazine and finally got it. And no, I didnt't buy like a dozen copies or anything. Beli satu je nak tengok.

Kedai badan

Popped by Xenri D'Garden Terrace Japanese restaurant earlier today. Terkial-kial gak nak cari sebab alamat kata kat Menara Hap Seng.

Hado aku tau kat mana.

Rupanya it's the old MUI Plaza. Damn... have to keep track of all the renaming of buildings in KL. Bodoh rasanya pusing nak carik.

Anyway, found it. Love the place. Sebab walaopon it's like indoors, the open terrace area makes it feel like it's located in a garden, smack in the middle of the city - without being in a building.

Awesome!

Tujuan gi sana? Tuk makcik sorang nih...

Tuh dia. Kisahnya, kak Mah Gali, or Sarimah Ibrahim ajak (ke paksa) ke sana kerana dia endorse the new line from The Body Shop nya The white Shiso range of UV whitening products.

Heh... aku pakai da. Baguih gila!

This coming from a person yang hanya will say yes to Biotherm and Clinique when it comes o skin care items (walaopon aku terpaksa ngaku aku pakai Fair & Lovely gak... baguih wei...jangan carot!)

Bangga gak sebab Sarimah first celeb to endorse The Body Shop. Selama ni hado moka of the brand.

Aku jenis jarang snappy makanan, so bear with me if I lack the flair or artistry of food bloggers when I do this. By the way, Xenri's blend of fusion Japanese cuisine is AWESOME!

Tu je yang sempat snappy. Heh. Buang masa tol kan nak wat pon tak sepenuh jiwa dan raga.

Pas abih the event, stopped for a drink (motif padahal baru melantak - da tau makanan Jepun mana isi sangat...) downstairs at the Brussels Beer Cafe ngan si Fiza. Hah...nama je beer cafe ok. Bukan aku minum pon. Da lama 'bersara' gituh.

I love the place. Ni leh jadik chill out port nih.

Anyway pas da gelap, gerak lak ke kawasan flat Pekeliling. Motif?

Pelancaran Apokalips dari Mamat Khalid. Pilem baru dia yang...well.... quite apocalyptic lor. Futuristic Japanime-manga-esque feel gituh.

Letih gila pas abih. Tapi ni nak sambung lepak ngan kengkawan sat. Banyak benda dalam perancangan ni kena susun atur perlahan-lahan.

Ok... time to unload my guilt. This is what I picked up yesterday from Gucci Pavilion.

So it wasn't much. Though it cost me. Beli sunglasses satu which I felt in love with on first sight. Oversized (on me it's regular sized) with signature webbing sides as part of the red tangkai. Me likey it a lot.

And also the olive and red webbing belt with leather border tuh. Tapi ada brown nya je size aku. Wanted black but tu size kicik gila muat semut punya pinggang. Being healthier, and erm.. of a more full figure, aku kena amik black. Buckle pon bukan silver but dark tint. Tu pun the last da. Nangis. Any doubts I had on whether I should get it immediately went away. Baik sambar dari terlepas. Yang penting - ori ye.. bukan Bandung. Matilah kau!

Am so in love with my sunnies and belt. Me likey a long time.

Anyway, hari ni settle keja pastu gi Pavilion. Not for Gucci (walaopon jalan lalu, terpanggil nak singgah sebenarnya sampai staff dia perasan aku lalu pandang senyum... cobaan!)

Gi nak teman member shopping. Makeover katanya. Before that sempat jumpa Sarimah. Owh by the way, no Sarimah is not doing The Biggest Loser Asia 2. Their loss. Yeap it's confirmed. Oh well... the show was a yawn anyway.

Anyway Sarimah skang The Body Shop nya ambassador apart from exclusive talent Astro.

So tadik jumpa Sarimah, dia pass my birthday present. Belated, but definitely sweet! Which is?

Tuh dia! RM450 worth of cash vouchers to pick up The Body Shop stuff. Me likey! So went berserk (bagik RM100 to kawan nak pick apa dia nak as part of makeover process gituh)

Tuh dia! Rejimen penjagaan kulit aku up another notch. Yes, I am very particular. Bukan semua product aku sambar. Specific items. Personally I love Biotherm and The Body Shop. Apart from some organic stuff I picked up kat Bangkok. Gila best facial scrub dia wei walaopon moka aku kuning jap ala ala makcik India sebelah umah aku. Good stuff.

As usual nak rush mana-mana, jam nak mampos. Honestly I think I spend half my life in KL traffic.

Next stop - Mines. I hate this place. If they need a place to substitute 'Jinjang' to show how hanjeng a place is, Mines would be it. It's got the infrastructure, tapi sedih siot kedai-kedai kat sana.

Orang lawat sana lagik hauk. But the waterways running through the mall tetap aku suka.

Since it's Tuesday.. layan Coney Dog.

A&W honestly is the only fast food outlet aku gi yang ada lalat. Semua outlet pon camtuh. Tak paham aku.

But The Mines punya at least serve warm food and cold root beer. Not the other around cam some other crappy outlets.

Ah.. speaking of the root beer. To die for! Ni on my second mug.

Retail therapy - done! No more shopping pasni (except kalao Gucci ada sale.. yeah right.. Christmas je kot paling awal and I think I won't hold on that long).

Again

Dalam perang nafsu lawan dompet Gucci... dompet ku mengalah. Casualty memang teruk. Matilah.

I hate Mondays and today was no exception. Stressed gila banyak benda lari planning. So my only cure is - retail therapy.

So apa agik...pas abih semua, singgah la kat Gucci kat Pavilion. Spotted this awesome black messenger bag I like. Classic, just like my laptop bag. And of course the belt. Tu da lama ngidam, tapi menahan je dari berbelanja.

Pastu... spotted these shoes lak. Like what the... da empat pasang masih gatal nak usha agik. But I so love these shoes! Simple and young without obnoxious branding apart from the classic feel of the olive and red webbing. I like! Aduh... that makes it two pairs of shoes da on my list - including a pair of trainers member seberang laut nak beli kan kalao aku roger dia. Dilema tol...

Ended up... beli la apa agik. Beli apa... nanti la aku snappy kongsi.

Lepak nya lepak, da sampai time, gi Teeq Brasserie kat rooftop Lot 10 tuk pelancaran drama bersiri Lagenda Budak Setan tuk Astro Prima. Sapa minat the novel, and the movie, layan la sampai lebam 90 episod akan datang.

Bezanya takde Lisa Surihani takde Fazura. Best ke tanpa meka berdua... cam kosong je kan?

Ni sempat snappy pic si Farid Kamil jek. Mohawk tuh!

Hated the drive to Subang nak lepak. Jam bagai. Gila la nak wat construction sebelom midnight. Babiks sungguh ye. Leh tak aktiviti camni simpan sampai lepas 2 pagi masa orang kebanyakan da tidur supaya no unnecessary traffic jam?

Anyway, siang tadi gi opis, beli kek, tabut banyak lilin sampai nak terbakar, tuk Irwan nya birthday.

Merasalah pasang 21 lilin kecik tuk effect berapi. Kalao dia nak carot - da bersedia jawapan aku, but ko masih muda pe, aku letak 21 candles. Matilah! Walaopon effect nak cam ala memerlukan fire extinguisher nak padam bagai.

I'm on my shisha now... nanti je la sambung update pasal apa aku purchase. August ni ramai lak birthday nak beli present. Lebam! Abih la wallet ringan pasni. At the end of the day, kang total duit kat dalam, kurang dari nilai dan harga wallet kang.

Sabar je...

PS - Seronok layan shisha lak kat Subang sebab ada si dia yang comel slalu lepak sana. Subang is my new hangout la (actually da dua minggu ni memang port sana pon) Heh... jodoh kat Subang gak rupanya nih...
