Happy birthday Umie!

On heavy medication so tengah lalok semacam. Rasa cam terbang pon yer. Merasalah takyah feeling nak pill bagai, tetap leh melayang... hanya perlu demam, selsema, batuk dan sebagainya, gi doktor for medication ala ala da merasa cam stone da katanya.

I had so much medication, I seriously feel like I'm tripping!

Apapon, setelah konsep bertapa kat umah lebih kurang 48 jam, and getting over the worst of my fever, flu and cough plus plus, smalam keluar gak, penuhi jemputan Umie Aida nak meraikan birthday dia kat rumah kak Erma.

Actually birthday besok, tapi kira a few hours early la.

Also secara sahnya, perkenalan 'abang' Umie nih yang pemalu. Segala detail pernikahan mereka more or less rahsia lagi, tapi memang akan diadakan diluar negara dalam masa yang terdekat (no dates diberitahu - and tidak menafikan di Tanah Suci)

And sudah tentu, trend nak tanya apa hadiah harijadi from yang tersayang mesti ada - jawapannya dengan malu abang bagitau it has something to do with health and beauty. Dengan sebuah pusat kat Mont Kiara. Tapi takde la sampai beli spa sebijik. Treatments kot... tapi tatau lebih mendalam.

It was a nice gathering yang tak terlalu ramai, thanks yer Umie for inviting. Paling suka dia nih direct invitation.

Tapi dalam keadaan 'lalok' aku pas berubat bagai semalam, lupa lak bawak camera, so ni pakai handphone je la sempat nak rakamkan some pics.

Nampak kebahagiaan terserlah gituh. Lama da Umie ni independant woman, so it's nice to see her finally with someone. And dia nih da seri da naik.. very the rupa bakal pengantin. Heh!

Eh ok la.. esok je melalut lagik. Tengah ting tong lagik nih...

PS - Pas abih event nak tengah malam da nih, sempat ke Pelita Bangsar jumpa kengkawan jap. Sana serempak Zul dan Isma borak jap. Pastuh lak serempak bebudak Pesawat yang baru menang dua award kat VIMA for Song Of The Year for Excuse Me and Best Freaking Act which is the result of poll by bands for bands.

Last year's winner, Altimet for Song Of The Year with Chantek pon ada, tak perasan lak, bro sebab balik umah awal pagi da bagun baru prasan ko Tweet aku! Sorry! Anyway, congrats to Pesawat yang akan berangkat ke UK selama 10 hari nak tour London, Manchester and Liverpool (yang da confirm location so far) with Couple. Rock the UK, guys.

It's been a little hectic with all the drama, plus my lack of sleep sebab running about. Bayangkan smalam tak tidur pas berinai ngan kak Vee, had to go to the masjid by 8am. Tak tido dowh!

On top of that, abih tuh, gegas to the office because of the chaos in the stupid church burning! Still pissed about idiots being that dumb to do stuff like that.

Tengah update entry nih, dapat lagik berita one more church was firebombed late last night or early this morning.

The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Petaling Jaya has become the latest victim.

Our Prime Minister says they will hand out RM500,000 to help rebuil the Metro Tabernacle which was the hardest hit.

While appreciative - they seem to be missing the point. It's not about the building.

It's about the harmony, the trust and the mutual respect of all in the country. That has been robbed from a lot of us, along with our sense of security.

Everyone, regardless of your religion (unless you're atheist), please do pray for our country. At this moment, prayers are the only thing that can help us.

Things that go BUMP in the night

Still up updating this entry sebab aku nya senses working overtime again. I keep hearing bumping sounds from the house next door... which is empty.

Aku risau kalao orang nak rompak ke apa je. Tapi dari dulu aku mesti dengar sound effect pelik pelik nih, tapi *knock on wood* tak penah jadik benda tak elok.

Kebelakangan nih aku tak dengar dah sangat. Tapi malam ni, time 'biasa' tuh ada je bunyi ketuk ketuk lah, benda bergerak di seret lah... ada je lah. Oh well.. kalao non-human aku tak heran sangat. Yang aku horror kalao benda yang hidup je. Serious, aku risau sangat orang nak pecah rumah melalui rumah sebelah yang kosong.

Lain dari tuh... jangan munculkan diri depan aku (walaopon aku sedar kehadirannya) da cukup.

Trying to sleep after a very tiring day kat Ikea. Yes, stage 1 of my mission is accomplished da! Shopping is done with, and I have selected the pieces for my room makeover. I finally got some help from staff yang bijak sikit (bukan yang semalam yang blur tuh - yang walaopon baik tapi memang kurang sifat). In fact, thanks to the guy in the wardrobe department for putting together my invoice without any hassle. And he did it within minutes after I presented him my list. Somebody give him a raise for making shopping at Ikea actually what it's supposed to be. Yang semalam nya mamat tuh, dekat setengah jam tetap nan ado result.

Won't show you what I bought or tell anything more what I'm going to do. Risau masih ada yang sempat dari kalangan empat orang lagi pemenang yang going for the grand prize nak curik idea. Heh! Tapi yang pentingnya, voucher RM2,000 yang aku dapat... this is how much I spent.



Tuh dia! Under the budget by 20 Sen je. Aku maximise tahap cipan!

Honestly, wish had few more hundred Ringgit, but oh well. Aku tak cukup nak dapat several other storage units yang memang kena ngan apa tema aku nak, but what I have pun kira ok la. Tunggu je nanti ek tengok hasil.

Plan nak tidur rumah Mont Kiara malam ni, tapi sebab tetiba budak delivery Ikea kata nak hantar furnishing bagai semua tengahari kat rumah kat Klang, so decided to just head home. Malas nak rushing siang esok lak. So cancel la swimming tuk sehari lagik sebab masuk je perabut semua, harus la sampai tengah malam aku nak kemas dan susun semua.

Trying to get to sleep early sebab anticipate hectic sebab esok. but can't. Sempat gayut ngan my other sis, Suria.

Yes, for your information, Dangsuria Zainurdin memang confirm akan kahwin ngan Ad Samad. She invited me to the wedding baru je. So happy she remembered me. I love Su like hell. She's helped me through some rough emotional patches and we both keep each other's secrets. Start kami rapat zaman masing-masin buat liputan kes berita Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dan Reformasi sometime in 1997 onwards.



Su, congrats, and Ad, take care of my sister tuh ok.

Atas permintaan pasangan pengantin aku takleh bagitau tarikh, tapi kang langsungkan da, you will definitely see pics here, so no worries - cause aku wouldn't miss Su's wedding for the world (dulu yang first pon aku gi - heh!)

Sebut wedding nih, aku total four weddings this week alone. Matilah...!!!

Tired just thinking about it. Ignoring the sounds and trying to get some sleep. Night all...


PS - Selain dari budget RM2,000 I managed to spend a little bit myself (walaopon da janji tanak beli apa barang lagik) for the office. Tengah pikir bilik pon, da alamg-alang kat Ikea... tergatal tangan lak. Aduh....!!!

Up and down

Dalam nak mengumumkan masjid dibina, terpaksa gak aku nak share news pasal pengumuman rumahtangga yang tak dapat bertahan. Nama pon jodoh kan...

Wanted to share Nana and Brian's wedding pics today. But I have to start off with headline dalam Harian Metro hari ni mengenai penceraian Sarimah dan Andrew @ Amir.

Actually since their divorce in December, memang banyak Sarimah hint, dan aku sendiri pun tahu secara sah dari mulut dia sendiri a couple of weeks now.

Benda camni kalao kita hidu pun, tak elok nak tanya.

Tapi tu yang marah sangat aku ada je dalam emo Akademi Fantasia, ada yang nak bising carut pasal Sarimah punya performance. The truth is, she was holding a lot inside that people didn't know, and yet dia masih terus put on a smile every night when people tuned into Diari Akademi Fantasia. And that takes helluva lot of strength for any woman!

Kalao korang ingat ada entry yang aku mintak Sarimah tabah... tu yang aku rasa part paling down skali tengok dia. And korang ingat tak video aku letak pasal last day kat Akademi - yang kita semua terjah dia nak celebrate last episode? You don't know the pain behind the smile.

But she's a strong woman, and I respect her for not allowing anyone's, her's or Andrew's names to be dragged through the mud, despite the divorce and to remain strong through all of this.

Babe, my prayers are with you, and God willing, ko akan temu jodoh ko gak one day.

Until then keep soldiering on. Lagikpon, we're neighbours now, so pop over for a cuppa je anytime. Heh... geng Mont Kiara unite!

Masa sampai, since didn't know a lot of her family members and close friends, sought safety in the room je masa Nana tengah preparation. Time tuh kita sampai I think was 9am, so baru start preparation. The thing about her wedding was simple, yet elegant with a homely feel. I like!

Tak sempat makan, Nana's BFF (best friend forever gituh) si Fara pun nak suapkan sikit. Heh... last-last Nana tanak (sebab pre-wedding jitters kan, susah nak telan apa-apa), si Fara pon melantak dulu. Yerlah... sibuk wo jadik bridesmaid. Tengok Fara aktif sangat smalam.

Yang aku makan hati bab hantaran tuh, bukan the ring ke apa. Tapi the combination of the RM10,000 Gibson guitar, the distortion pedal dan Ray Ban. Very the rocker punya hantaran. Tapi rocker jaga rupa ok dan pentingkan dandanan diri, siap ngan kelengkapan DKNY.

Anyway, tengah snappy hantaran, layan si Hazri (Hazrey... however you spell it lah). First time jumpa - perkahwinan Mawi kat JB. Ala... insiden kecoh tuh... kecian time tuh kena halau (oops... seb baik orang bertanggungjawab menghalau da tak keja ngan Astro or subsidiaries da). Second time jumpa masa kat Taib Andak for the sanding there.

Anyway, couldn't resist it. Nampak dia dan geng kru TV3 Johor je, terus molot aku automatic bertanya, "Hai... dapat hak eksklusif tak?" Matilah! Heh... saja je...

Dengan dua kali lafaz, it was done. Nurul Hana Che Mahazan dengan Mohd Raqeem Brian Abdullah were married. Aku nak gelak time tuh.

Brian nervous abih sebenarnya, and imam pon lajus je cakap sampai dia tak follow. Tak silap, time dia cakap tuh, instead of "RM22.50 tunai..." Brian said "Dua puluh ringgit tunai setengah". Takpe... nervous ya amats dua orang ni. I guess all of us there were feeling it too. Cam tak caya dua orang nih da bersatu da.

Nana excited gila time da lafaz as we heard in the room, she punched the air, and went, "YES!!!!!". Heh! Takpe... dalam bilik leh gila sikit. Dalam sekelip mata, mood dia tetiba sebak lak! Haiyo! Dari excited jadik emo lak. Rosak make-up!

Tuh dia... rosak eyeliner tuh. Merasalah mascara waterproof tak?
