Walaupun I tak nak letak banyak pics mula-mula, adalak SMS ni...camna ni...dari member yang baca update pasal AF III ni. Demand nak gak tengok muka budak-budak...elok ke can do ke (kalau paham, paham ler).

Anyway...these pictures I have to credit kawan aku Juan Danza dari majalah URS - dia yang amik. Sebab curi-curi sikit - susah nak dapat group shot - tapi kira elok ler sebab 'action' shots kan.

Anyway, ni masa lepas meka abih briefing on the way out....

Tomorrow - aku akan upload (pray ler I do) group shot SEMUA 20 keluarga Akademi Fantasia yang baru. So kalau rajin, masuk-masuk ler tuk tengok wajah-wajah yang akan menerangi hidup kita tuk at least tiga bulan kita kang!

Akademi Fantasia: Early elimination
KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 : Astro's Akademi Fantasia's 20 hopefuls will check into camp today to prepare for the third season of the popular reality TV show and a few surprises.

It is learnt that their 'camp' is Holiday Villa Subang Jaya where the participants and their family will get to know members of the academy and the production and talent management teams.

They will check out on Monday and depart with their family for the start of their 'quarantine' at an undisclosed location to prepare for the preliminary concert on May 21.

Sources said the show will see the surprise elimination of a number of participants.

They confirmed that the 20 will not be checking into the Akademi Fantasia yet as only those who make the cut after the May 21 show will be announced students of Akademi Fantasia.

The curtain-raiser for the show, billed as Konsert Prelude Akademi Fantasia, will be aired live over Astro's Ria channel at 8.30pm.

Meanwhile, Tirai Akademi Fantasia, the introduction to the new season, will go on air on May 28 and 29 over Ria at 8.30pm.

The first daily broadcast of Diari AF3, which provides updates on the students of Akademi Fantasia, will air over Ria on May 30 at noon and 8.30pm. The programme will then be aired at the same time, from Monday to Friday.

Had a date tadik ngan si budak aku baru kenal. Horrible. It was ok...but...argh! Entahlah. nampaknya 2005 is not going to be the year of romance.

Anyway...THANK GOD! that Akademi fantasia dah nak mula. At least that's something to do on Saturday nights.

About semalam punya posting...aku silap sikit. Bebudak Akademi fantasia III akan check in hotel tomorrow, Saturday afternoon...bukan ari ni. Kesilapan teknik sikit.

Thank God aku dah de-stress by having sex on Tuesday night (not with him though!). It's amazing what sex can do for you in giving you the strength to deal with shit that comes your way.

Pissed!

Ok...today has NOT been a good day. It wasn't horrible for all the wrong things happening directly to me...but...it's sort of complicated to reveal.

Started past midnight - met up with ada lah someone ni. Now, flirting is always turned on when we're together, tapi malas tul aku ngan dia sebab asik gelar 'kawan'. Smalam I put my foot down...and terus kata takyah la.

Nak tunggu keputtusan awak buang masa....so let me make the decision for you.Fine...kita cuma kawan...and I think we shouldn't meet again in the near future. Dia keja Singapore...down in town for some thingie...pas aku cakap camtuh kelam kabut SMS aku mintak maap pasal our botched date.

But damage was done...and it's been affecting me till today. Moral of the story - some people are simply afraid of commitment! I claim to be the only exception to that statement (that I'm not afraid of commitment...had to stress that).

Then siang tadik orang dari station ni call. Patut ada laa program tu endorse kita sbagai official media partner.Ada ke hanjeng punya kerja red tape meka tu...meka kata takleh.Mampuslaa korang beli adveritising rajin sikit then.Buat duit...tapi smuer kemut akibat dengki manjang...tak kuasa aku!

Now moving on from that shit hole of a day I've been facing...

Takde sangat istimewa since most of my collection gone. Lebih kurang seminggu sebelum bebudak Akademi Fantasia II check into Akademi, media dibawak on tour ke facility tu.

Disana kami ditunjuk ler how the who thing works.

I think the picture is self explainatory. The first is the floor make up of the Akademi. Not that yang tulis hidden corridors (kalau tak nampak...yang line merah tu ler) terletak disebalik dinding tu yang menjadi tempat camera diletakkan sebalik cermin.

The second and third pics are the entrance of the Akademi...tuk meka yang tak penah laa singgah-singgah tengok camna bangunan tu.

Teringat wat keja bodoh ngan member, lalu highway Kajang masa Akademi Fantasia tengah panas, menjerit-jerit panggil budak-budak (bukan cam leh dengar pun). Rupa-rupanya...masa audition Akademi Fantasia baru-baru ni...ngan some fellow Akademi Fantasia fans, sembang-sembang...I wasn't the only one to do that. Apparently ramai kenalan yang lain rajin wat bising kat area sana camtu gak. Aduh!

Kylie

I know I promised some exclusive pics concerning Akademi Fantasia, tapi sebab terbangun lambat, akibatnya tertinggal diskette which contained the pics.

Anyway, was sifting through my collection of photos, and I found this batch, which I feel like sharing.

Of course for those who know, Kylie will be performing in Singapore next month as part of her Show Girl - Greatest Hits Tour, and I really, really want to go - but at the moment - the chances seem nil.

I don't mind missing out on the show, even though it would be great to watch her do the old stuff on the tour billed as the biggest tour of the year, but I really want to interview her, but apparently, not only will she probably not grant interviews, there might now even be a press conference.

Damn the fact Kuala Lumpur always seems to get left out! yang datang semuer has beens, past their prime...or simply unpopular or that many of us just don't bother with.

Anyway, the impact of the news hammered home last Saturday when I bumped into Rizal and Adrian, some friends from an advertising agency, who revealed their plans to head south for it.
Makan hati!

Aku nak gi gak! Tapi...entahlah...Leo's messaged me today saying he'll receive his commission by the end of the month...so I'll have about US$300 in my pocket extra by then (which promises me possibly good seats since tickets are S$178, S$148, S$128, S$98, S$58), hopefully. Mungkin financially no hal...tapi...nak interview!

The last time I came within a few feet of Kylie....was at a press conference in London, which is still my ticket to boast.

Yes, thus the relevance of the pictures.

In October 2003, I was in London for Kylie's by-invite-only money-can't-buy...erm...Money Can't Buy show, which was to officially launch and promote Body Language.

Anyway...to cut a long story short, looks like chances of me coming this close to one of my idols is as good as flushed!

Aduh...nak mourning sat. Be back tomorrow with more postings. Hopefully with what I promised....

Hari Isnin yang membosankan

Nasib baik I finished all my work smalam sebab kebosanan smalaman. Ari ni lega sikit except teringat overtime aku yang aku rushed to fill up.Kang ujung bulan kurang gaji aku gak yang susah!

Anyways, nothing much to share today...been a totally unthrilling day.Pas dah clear keja, buat ring tone tuk Nokia 3650 aku jerk.The song for the moment is Akon's remake of Bobby Vinton's Lonely.Akon's version jadik ringtone, while the mellower, more depressive original jadik message tone.So now every call or message...phone aku berbunyi..."Lonely...I'm still lonely...I've got nobody...to call my own", which is a very apt description of my life at the moment.

Anyways, tuk meka yang minat Akademi Fantasia, 17hb nanti ada press conference tuk musim ketiga punya unveiling pelajar-pelajar baru serta format.So masa tu confirm ke tak format aku bagik korang arituh tuk spoiler.

Mana tau kan Astro da tau pecah lobang, they come out with some last minute surprises... So anyways....until tomorrow guys...aku ada pics nak share for tomorrow...on Akademi Fantasia...something special....tungguuuuuu!!!

Aku punya card reader masih missing in action, so petang tadi pakai laptop, guna infrared, satu-satu transfer. Jenuh aku nak transfer amik masa sejam!

A New Orange!

I don't know if it's too soon to say this, but even Zahid critics...look out. Zahid promises a new him.

And while it may be impossible to believe for the most hardcore of critics, the Orange one seems sincerely apologetic for whatever actions construed as offending prior to yesterday.

So buat sementara, I'm inclined to give him a second chance to prove he's worth putting up with and indulging - untuk bakat yang dianugerahkan. And while I can always end up the most skeptical bitch of them all, I believe him. In over nine months I've known him, yesterday for the first time, Zahid was as honest as they come, and vulnerability was apparent.

Don't ask me anymore. I'm just so proud of him that he has promised fans and critics alike to do his best.

Good luck, Zahid...I really do wish you the best.

Yawn...

Saja masuk to just blog some thoughts...but realised takder benda in my mind - mana tak nya....almost 5am! Aku stone cold da ni...tapi malas ngadap keja yang nak diabihkan ni.

Anyway...ni rushing to complete some work, because tomorrow's a busy day. As usual, Thursdays is the deadline for my gossip column, so baik aku habiskan upfront so tak terkejar-kejar.

Plan for tomorrow - kena gi Zahid's album launch at the former KL Hilton (skang Mutiara).

Actually aku takder mood nak cover tul. That boy's attitude is simply getting from bad to worse, and even MY patience has stretched to the limit. But gotta do my job...so have to be professional.

Anyway, pada mereka yang gi Kulim Kedah, kesemua budak Akademi Fantasia II (kecuali Fitri yang sibuk shooting) will be there tuk show, skali ngan penyerahan cek derma. Penyerahan cek siang Jumaat. Malam tu lak show, tatau kat mana sebab aku tak dapat ikut. Tension gak, sebab this is probably the last call for them (I know I've said that before) before Akademi Fantasia III....

Apakan daya....bos tak bagik. Aduh! But will be sending them off at Astro later sebab nak hantar si Bob dan Anding gi akibat Iqram balik kampung.

Al-fatihah...

Semalam gi rumah Bob just to lepak. Rumah kelam-kabut sikit in the midst of rearranging sebab Anding dan Ikram pindah masuk. Meriah la jadinya at least tak sunyi sangat rumah Bob.

Planning nak gi tengok Tanggang agik ngan Bob, so that can ajak Along gi supper lepas abih pementasan malam terakhir.

Tapi dalam pukul 8, Anding balik dari gym, kata dia dapat SMS yang Bat Latiff da ninggal. Kelam-kabut la masing-masing calling nak confirmkan.

To cut a long story short, kita plan tuk gi pay our last respects. Semua pakai boria hitam, and we piled into my car redah carik rumah arwah. Last-last jumpa...tapi masa tu da nak bawak jenazah ke rumah Ogy. So pas lepak jap, we made a move.

Sempat jumpa kak Ogy to wish condolences...ramai gak dari industri yang hadir...it was touching, because at moments like this, you see the much needed togetherness of the industry in coming together...evenm though it's to mourn the loss of a loved one.

Sadly enough...there was more sense of camaraderie than at AIM....I know it's morbid to draw comparisons, but just can't help thinking that the new generation of artistes and practitioners in the local music industry...are somehow just so removed from the human side of the craft.

Ning & Nikki

Pada sesiapa who was at AIM last Saturday....dah tau kan it's a confirmed thing that Ning Baizura appeared ngan Nikki, formerly of Malaysian Idol.

Well....pada sapa yang tak tengok meka kat red carpet, here's a pic of them. Ning is wearing Michael Ong while Nikki is wearing a full Zang Toi ensemble. Jewellery donned by both is of course, The Carat Club.

Pada yang perasan, though geram tak sempat amik pics langsung....Siti Charani ada skali.Pada meka yang tatau Siti Chairani tu sapa....she's of course the Indonesian sorprano yang known for training voices like Ning, who was her first student, Syafinaz...dan Siti Hajar.

Anyway...she was there...so guess whether she's there as Ning's tutor ke....Nikki skali..tanak bagitau lebih at this point, but for fans of Nikki...she is collecting material for her debut album. I've heard some of the songs she's getting, and they're quite amazing.

Expect a single out within a month or so, followed quickly by the album.

Doesn't Nikki just look absolutely gorgeous???!!!
