Kelab Pop

Sampai je Wisma Ali Bawal tuk shooting Kelab Pop, bumped into lots of people! Mana taknya... bukan je satu episod nak shooting. Banyak skali harung. Aku nya slot yang last for the day.

Team aku, apart from myself, si Juan dan Rudy. Harus lah havoc katanya. Our challengers? Ifa Raziah, Serina Redzuan dan Fazli Zainal.

Semua mulot leh tahan.

Once, the final episod before ours finished (sempat usha, tapi akibat tuh tambah nervous), congratulated the winners! Siapa lagi kalau bukan team Triple Z (no, that was not their team name - tapi sebab memang tiga tiga nama start ngan Z).

The winning team for the shoot before ours was bro Zahid, skali ngan Zain formerly of RuffEdge (kira former ker) and Zed Zaidi. Uwaa... julang trofi ngan bangga tuh!

Mana taknya, dengar musim lepas, piala adalah piala pusingan yang passed on.

Musim ni semua pemenang dapat individual trophy.

Uwaa... adik da dapat trophy, the pressure is on to meet expectations. Sebenarnya aku tak kisah pun mula mula nak menang ke apa... lagikpon appear pun ada saguhati da. Merasalah dijemput sebagai selebriti wakil media. Matilah... nak good impression ni.

Plus, adik da menang, aku pun nak ler. And it didn't hurt that the trophy cantik gak and nampak mahal. Heh!

So masa game, memang all out. Tapi round random question memang no hal. Seb baik tak terbodoh aku. Tapi round CD rosak aku tension. Tak pick up langsung. Juan banyak jawab.
Tapi yang kelakar, satu yang berjaya aku jawab tuh, tak sampai beberapa saat aku da tekan buzzer dan jerit jawapan. Lagu tu memang familiar - lagu hit yang kerap berkumandang radio.

Kalau tak kenal memang aku patut kena pancung - matilah malu kalao aku tak cam. Sebelum sesiapa sempat, aku tekan dan jerit STACY!!!! AKU STACY!!!! Heh! Tak ler aku malu sangat tak jawab speed round tu.

Round humming dan karaoke maut tuh memang pecah perot. Aku sampai nak jatuh pentas gelak!

Aku takleh cakap apa apa la... korang tengok kang bila episod tu on air. Not sure when... but memang kelakar!

Fazli, Serina, Reza, Juan, Rudy and me, myself and I. Kak Ifa terpaksa rushing balik cepat sebab anak dia sakit.


Pas abih gi lepak Pelita as usual. Tak plan apa apa pun. Dan dan... ada orang tegur. Rupanya Marsha dan Kefli ada 'discussion'. Hah... habihla korang kuar lagik la cita korang kuar berdua. Sebenarnya kira business meeting sebab ada hal nak bincang. Last last meka join satu meja.

Banyak ler aku nak borak ngan Kef sebab cita Gaia yang aku tarik diri. Then borak ngan Marsha pasal bab lain yang takleh sebut sini.

Sibuk borak, tetiba lak ramai sampai kat Pelita tu. The ones aku sempat snappy Mila dan secara berasingan, Jac. Bangga ngan meka. Takde nya feeling kekwat takleh lepak mamak. Ada sesetengah nih pandang mamak ni cam hina sangat. And kalao lepak kat kedai mamak, rasa cam kena bagitau satu dunia seperti Fear Factor lak. Amik ko!

If I neglected to tell you the result of the episode Kelab Pop I was in. Sebenarnya... kami.. MENANG!!!!!

Amik ko! Trofi yang dok kat ruang tamu rumah skang. Nothing much to be proud of... biasa biasa je. Yang penting, we all had fun, and with friends.

Apa dia? Bolos? You'll never get me into that skin tight baju. Nangis kang Fitri tengok baju dia buat tuh kena stretch ngan aku! Nangis lagik tetiba Bolos kena rating sebagai horror film lak nampak lebihan aku semua. Matilah...

Decisions

First of all, I mentioned semalam aku tengah pikirkan sesuatuh. Finally came to a decision, and this is what I have to say.

Terima kasih bab semua yang sokong ketika kemunculan aku dalam telemovie Gaia arituh, it was a learning experience for me in so many ways.

However, ngan musim kedua tengah shooting, aku da cadang nak tarik diri dari production for season two. So no more Master G, unless they still keep the character in with someone else.

Yang penting, aku da pikirkan masak masak, I don't think I want to do it for season two.
Moving on, berapa hari nih, aku sebenarnya nak rehat. Yerlah, Akademi Fantasia sudahpun tamat. Time to focus on so many other things that I need to do.

Benci sebenarnya the corporate practise, ngan paperwork pelbagai, but hey.. nak masuk dunia ni kena belajar lor.

Yang penting, mulai sekarang usaha aku, aku yang akan get credit, and get paid for it.

Biasanya kalao wat sesuatu sebelom ni, kekadang tak dapat credit, kekadang tak dapat bayaran, kita wat kerana passion, but I guess that's always mistaken for being gullible. It has happened too many times to me in the past, and while I never used to mind, now I do. Other people rake the benefits, takkan aku tak deserve to get a piece of the pie.

Need to work harder to continue on the path to my dreams, and not allowing anything to stop me.

Today was one of the many days thay will be my staple routine for the near future. Paperwork.. preparing proposals and all.

Tapi nak jadik cita, pagi tadik ke warehouse sale. Hari pertama of a three day sale tuk jenama Lewre. Kira tiga empat ratus gak ler harga kasut kasut dia.

Aku pun sibuk ke sana awal pagik da gih. Benda tuh start kol 10 pagik. Aku sampai 10.15 pagik da gila!

Orang berasak tak hengat cam bagik kasut pree jerk. Mana taknya. I got a tan pair of pumps for my mom. Retail price about RM300 plus harga sebenar. Simple but classic. Harga sale? RM70 jerk.

For my sis, two pairs of black pumps, one dekat pattern Guess dia beli, for just RM50! Another pair tuh dapat tuk RM30 jerk. Matilah harga pun cam Jukebox lak (motif tahu jerk tahu harga Jukebox?) walaupun leather.

Also a pair of party heels in pink for my sis punya member which had several rows of diamante also at RM70.

Kan da kata... aku ni shopaholic. Walaupun beli tuk orang lain pun kepuasan tak terhingga tau! Janji discount. Damn! Ni lah akibatnya sejak dapat duit VSS control sangat bab shopping. Sampai kasut heels bukan aku leh pakai pun leh abihkan RM220. But all in all, the retail price for the four pairs of shoes (two Lewre, two under the Luxury brand) pun da over a thousand. So definitely worth it.

And more so bila mak aku try dia suka sangat sebab orang tua aku ni suka nak vogue nak pakai heels. My mom funky ok.. umo jer 62, tapi tetap maintain.

Esok thinking about going back again, so sapa nak ikut jom!

Just kena beranikan diri sikit.

Whoever coined the phrase that the women are the weaker sex, has to be a man because he has not only not gone through labour, tapi tak pernah ke shoe sale! Time ni la kaum Hawa mengganas ok!

I swear I got whacked out of place by a 70 year old woman who was angling for a pair of heels yang ijo pucuk pisang gituh. Matilah! Had to do a little pushing and shoving walaupon rasa bersalah sebab aku lelaki tak elok gituh nak tolak pompuan.

But hey..bab sale ni, it's all about equality of the sexes!

Seb baik aku da lama risik shoe size mak aku (a six).Aduh... tapi worth it siot. Korang kalao sempat usha gi lah. Tapi pada ladies yang kaki bukan antara size 5 to 8 tuh, baik gi awal sebab other sizes payah nak cari kalao lambat. Ko hengat ko sorang jer nak kasut mahal for a cheaper price?

For your info, the shoes memacam pattern ada. From wedges to pumps to sandals to court shoes... kasut lelaki pun ada. Semua antara RM30 to RM70, though none to my liking. Go take a look. Definitely one of the best sales in a while.

Sampai rumah tengahari, tido jap sebab letih siot mengharungi lautan wanita wanita pantang tengok kasut murah..

Got up a few hours later and continued proposals.

Malam ada meeting nak discuss some projects. Ada berkenaan budak finalist Akademi Fantasia musim keenam ni... tapi takleh cita lebih for now. Hush hush... tunggu confirm aku announce. Tapi aku rasa bebudak fan club pun da tau. Tapi diamkan dulu ek... nanti aku mention sini bila confirm.

Dalam time lepak ngan geng Maestro, Haziq dan ayahanda dia and his sister pun ada. Sempat cita pasal album Haziq. Cantik cover (tapi ingat ek Ziq.. buang payung tuh)

Haziq pose handphone dia... lama punya ok.. dia jenis bersederhana tak suka tayang. At least ada kaaaaan...


A lot of things discussed ngan pihak Maestro. Baguih ni. Nanti jer la ek aku cakap apa dia. Exciting times ahead with many things to look forward to. Will keep you guys posted.

Pesanan terakhir sebelum Konsert Akhir - AFUNDI STACY

Tu dia.. sapa tak suka Stacy terbakar katanya. Pada yang suka harap harap la ni pembakar semangat tuk meka terus AFUNDI STACY!

Tak kisah lah apa pun result hari ni, yang pentingnya, it's obvious who the champion is this time around. Lantak ler sapa nak cakap apa pon, but yes, I do hope Stacy wins. Even in the last few days of preparation, I see Stacy as going all put compared to the others, and yes, she deserves to win.

Will she? Tuh isu lain. Sometimes the right ones win (like David Cook against that wimpy ass pretty boy David Archuleta), sometimes they don't.(if Stacy doesn't win).

Apapun, I hope this time fans go all out for the right ones. Not the ones yang membuat meka merembes jerk.

I hate that mentality whre people think it's all about who they 'like' and trying to justify it's the biggest thing to happen. Kerana merembes terus semua sedap la.

But the choice is ours.. every one of us out there with the ability to AFUNDI.

So, have you AFUNDIed? Make the right choice.

I am still saying AFUNDI STACY, AFUNDI NADIA and AFUNDI RIZ.

WHo do I want to champion?And siapa aku nak dok tempat-tempat lain? I would like the girls to have a one two finish, but judging from the kedudukan sekarang, I will settle for Stacy sebagai juara, Riz in second and Nadia in third.

Hari ni ada shooting Gaia musim kedua. And before you guys ask, watak aku nih light light jer muncul a couple of episodes jerk.

Andway rushed there pas hantar ayah check mata follow up treatment sebab laser nk betulkan cataracts kedua mata dan then runner ngan mak ke bank as well a pelbagai errands.

Lepas dok lapan jam, tak sempat shoot aku, Tak kisah la.. tapi ada benda yang merunsingkan aku nih. Need to sort it out. Anyway, ni some pics on the set.

My mind was on the finals coming up.

Risau sebenarnya. Banyak nak wat dalam diam sebelom final esok. Wish I could do more to help Nadia FC and Stacy FC because they both need more hands to help them out. Anyway,teruskan AFUNDI STACY (especially Stacy), AFUNDI NADIA (nih pun, tolong la top three) and AFUNDI RIZ (katanya.. walaupun.... matilah aku sokong pun kena carut)

My point of meroyan ari ni is about the pengkritik ketika konsert. Honestly, to some degree, I have no idea whether they are still relevant. Mana taknya, kekadang nampak bias yang melampau sebab pujian diberikan walaupun nyanyian bebudak atau persembahan bebudak macam.. erm.. you know.

And yet sometimes, persembahan yang bagus pun dicarut pelagai beriya, and small matters pun magnified.

The role of the critic is basically not to be blonde and to guide the students as well as penonton in evaluating the weaknesses and strengths, but more ofen than not it becomes a bashing session, atau sesi puji pujian.

I don't know how things will go on for tomorrow, but I have little hopes if any at all of things being different.

At the end of the day, Akademi Fantasia is a platform that offers huge possibiities to those involved in terms of promotion. And the pengkritik yang terlibat pun no different.. However if they act blonde (sometimes I think they may not even be acting), then they may find that people are not so dumb and will see right through them. Oh well...

Anyway backtracking sikit.. ari ni last episode of Diari Akademi Fantasia. Aku nak wish congrats pada team production Diari because for the first time in Akademi Fantasia history, they managed to come up with something yang if not the same quality as musim kedua nya product, even better.

Congrats especially to Sarimah sebab lightened out days with her quips and lawak yang memang menggelikan hati dan tak overdose.

And girl, you looked very pretty for the last episode. And no, you're not a blonde. Matlah gelak..

Gaia... Gaia... Gaia!

Siang semalam gi studio tuk Ria Sentral nak promosi Gaia on air. Aku, Tam and Farish skali. Nothing much happened sebab time sikit sangat, and cam tension pon ada sebab cam.. entahla. Patutnya promosi, but it didn't feel like we managed to promote the show, especially the excellent songs on the show. Takde masa sangat.

For the third time in two days, bumped into Aizat again sebab dia perform on the show. Have to say his voice is getting better. Sedap dia nyanyi single dia Hanya Kau Yang Mampu. Ker si Nubhan da hancurkan lagu tuh sangat Aizat's original version on his guitar sounded like such wonderment. Entah lah..

Abih jerk... gi Hilton Sentral tuk launching beberapa program baru upcoming kat Astro Ria.
Kalao korang tengok ada iklan yang tunjuk orang nyanyi lupa lirik tuh, it's for Jangan Lupa Lirik, a game show, adapted from Don't Forget The Lyrics. Aznil will be hosting it. Speaking of which, nak say thanks to Aznil for this lovely entry dalam blog dia.



Such nice words. Tuk someone yang amazingly creative like Aznil to spend time nak wat entry nak compliment aku, terharu sangat rasanya.I only gave the idea, and linked your blog, but it's your words that made your blog an attractive destination. Cam promosi melancong lak katanya.

Anyway, again, siapa lom ke blog Aznil, singgah la. Aznil personally blogs about himself, his life and his career, so worth a read. Walaupun sibuk, I hear he's been bitten by the blogging bug, so memang dia akan update as often as possible. By the way, siapa nak tengok how Jangan Lupa Lirik! will be, here's an example. Basically it's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire meets karaoke!

Korang karaoke, then sampai satu time lirik ilang, and you have to fill in the gaps! Aku dengar meka da shoot enam episode, and sorang da menang RM10,000 pun da! Juan and I were given a chance to try the game at the launch and aku menang RM100. Heh.. worth it gila. Anyway, here's the UK version of the show.


Another new gameshow coming on Ria pun da iklan da. It's a local version of Hole In The Wall. Otherwise known as the Japanese human tetris. Here's how it works.


I've seen this on Youtube before and memang kelakar! The local version will also feature celebrities, so it should definitely be worth a watch.

Diari Akademi Fantasia 6 - Minggu 9 hari kelima

Malas nak review sangat ari nih.. so here's a bit jer overall.

Stanly nampaknya tak confident ngan his piano playing enough to accompany his own song. So that's his major vote winner for the week.

Riz is having tempo troubles with Rock Around The Clock.

Nadia is still having problems trying to work out with her duet ngan Riz for Endless Love. Tak paham la camni.. hish.

Forget the attempts of Toi and Stanly for their bonus song of Lagu Jiwa Lagu Cinta.

Aiyo.. more time wasters in the Akademi. Freaking contact lens promo katanya!

So instead of practising their songs, they waste more time on... wearing contact lens. Aduh.. tak paham tol.

Why does that CIBA VISION lady in pink scare me... maniacal sangat wajahnya. Baju cam baju Ramli MS jerk... heh!


Nubhan menjadi penternak angsa as usual. Painful as all hell!
Tak paham bab Nadia pun... she's finding simple stuff unnecessarily difficult.

Nadia - sama gak masa muzik solo tak wat apa apa.
Stanly - masuk je gone, naik key tapi tak kena.
Nubhan & Stacy - Stacy ditegur to be more firm
Nadia & Riz - Nadia dikatakan cam tak ready, and tak carry weight of the song on her part.
Stanly & Toi - seorang angsa, seorang kepit kata bung... amik ko!!!!!

So are they ready for tomorrow? Not by a long shot...

Paling mengejutkan, Anita Sarawak herself messaged puji my first effort. I know it's not much of an effort, tapi baru kali pertama lakon, so kira lega gak orang leh tima.

By the way, pada meka yang ikut gaya, telemovie semalam, is basically tuk end the first season, as well as intro musim kedua yang akan datang, Tuh yang bersambung tuh. Nizam kata aku ada muncul dua tiga episod tuk musim kedua, so that means more shooting. Adoi!

Letih sangat nak tidur jerk hari nih pas Konsert. It was painfully boring! Nanti jerk aku update ok! Sempat nak bagi makan my Joey Jr jerk sebelom tido.. layan....sorry ler takde close up pics. My sugarglider tak suka camera. This was as close as I could get without pissing him off.



By the way, pesanan penaja. Ni Nizam nya pasal la paksa aku letak (matilah aku!!!!... ampun!!! Aku tetap nak pay check!)

I'm back!!! For good!!!

I been so busy. So many things have happened in the last few days. Thanks to kengawan pembaca yang singgah sini tiap hari tunggu update, to everyone aku jumpa kat konsert Akademi Fantasia lalu as well as Anugerah Planet Muzik yang mintak aku update cepat (katanya... walaopoooonnn) and those who SMSed and called me to make sure everything was alright. You guys are the best, and you're the reason I keep blogging. Jangan risau... carutan akan berterusan.

So... thank you again for being so patient, guys and being loyal to my writing. Katanya... walaupun...

And sesapa ingat aku nak stop blogging kerana Saida keluar, aiyo... so drama ke? Takde maknanya.

It's only a competition guys... our favourites menang ke eliminated ke, bukan kita yang dapat duit ma. Anyway, honestly so many things have been happening, tuh yang aku occupied gila.
Ok.. since last Wednesday sebenarnya updates aku sangkut sebab memang aku busy. Wat per? Erm.. mesti ada yang carut...

Disebabkan ada peluang datang, ada orang offer, aku sebenarnya sibuk shooting. Bukan sebalik kamera walaupun tuh minat aku, tapi berlakon. Yeap... peluang aku mencuba sesuatu yang baru and learn just how difficult it is.

Aku berpeluang nak belajar a lot from my fellow cast members in Tam, Farish, Nora Danish, Zizan dari Raja Lawak... and Nizam yang direct it.

Kalao korang nak tengok dan carut lakonan aku, bulan depan akan ditayang kat Astro Ria. Ni pilot tuk season kedua Gaia. Merasalah kan...

First time memang kayu gila... nervous. Then slowly ada la feel. Tapi ada satu part tuh, aku terasa cam dalam America's Next Top Model lak... you know when they shoot the Covergirl commercial antara challenge terakhir tuh. You think like.. alaa.. a few lines pun leh screw up. But the pressure is immense to deliver.

Tapi syukur, I don't think (or I hope at least) that I didn't do too bad.
Apart from that, there was drama, dalam kesibukan. aku da putuskan hubungan with my Boo last Saturday. Nampak je muka ceria.. tapi sedih sebenarnya. Sedih sebab sayang, but somehow I think our lives are too different at this point in time, and maybe it's just not right for us to be together at this moment. Boo, I know you'll read this - and I meant what I said. i still love you, and you are still very much part of my life walaopon aku rasa susah nak terima kau as my significant other.

Maybe we'll be better off as best friends because you are, and always will be a part of me. As long as you want me to be lah...

Ahad lak masa nak ke Anugerah Planet Muzik baru sedar hilang my digital camera. Tatau la tercicir ke kena curi masa shooting. Sedih sikit sebab my sis yang bagik as a present, so sentimental value. Minggu depan je ganti beli baru, or repair my old Ixus to blog with.

Today was a lot better. Firstly scene aku semua tamat da shoot. Lokasi terakhir kat Central Market depan orang ramai. Rasa nak nangis horror... but it went ok. Lega pas abih. Ada one more offer da datang nak berlakon siri 13 episod drama baru, tapi shooting is sometime in June, so doubt I can take it.

Then dapat call from income tax kata my clearance da ready. Thank you Puan Alina sebab dalam beberapa hari jer da settlekan my case. Lega... potongan pun about RM10,000 jer.. so kira ok lah. Discount manyak woo sebab aku settle dari 1997 punya income tax tak declare.
Also got good news from Nuffnang... love you guys!

So many things happening.... so little time.. ok la.. hari ni aku actually tanak posting panjang, tapi in the words of Stacy... terlebih sudah...

Diari Akademi Fantasia Minggu 6 Hari 1

Saida's departure nampaknya banyak affect the kids. Mana taknya... I think she was one of the few yang get along with everyone.
For sure, kalao ikut undian skang mengarut, mana taknya si Rina dan Toi seem set to be next to leave.. tapi Nadia pun dekat the bottom with Stanly still in the top five. Ridiculous.

Masuk je minggu baru awal pagi da promo barangan baru Mayfirst. Erm... no thank you.

Riz kata mak dia nya birthday Monday, tapi Kutip the irritating talking camera said he has to lose 5kg by Wednesday baru leh Akademi kirimkan birthday present on his behalf.

Stacy wish adik dia a belated 12th birthday

Sesi motivasi, Toi ngadu dia distracted punya pasal tu yang dia lost focus on his performance. Every week ada jer alasan.

Bacaan wasiat si Saida nampaknya Rina paling affected pemergian dia. I love her will sebab Riz dan Stanly lumped together to behave...

Riz tetap feeling cam whoring sibuk nyanyi depan camera. Well, you can't blame him when a lot of delusional females fall for it. Dedicating a song to his mom pastu, semua ikut ler take advantage nak wish families. Toi sibuk nak enter frame skali.

On to Siti Hajar's class. Fast forward, to Ramli MS punya class yang lebih narik.

Nubhan - off key abih. Alasannya nak pikirkan pergerakan.
Alif & Toi - kisahnya trying very hard but out within a minute.
Stanly - kisahnya getting better.. aiyo.. which part?
Rina - trying hard but slow progress just like Alif dan Toi.
Riz - kisahnya good tapi perlu forward lagik.

Tak tunjuk evaluation Stacy dan Nadia. Tapi Stacy dapat lagu baru - which she can only hear during lunch time ngan persembahan of the song not determined yet.

Lagu hit, sedap tapi alkisahnya mampu ke nak bawak we'll have to see la. Dia emo problem manjang, takde feel langsung.
Tak mencabar sangat... tapi tuk Alif, anything is one, so dunno how lah.

NUBHAN
Generasiku (OAG)
Hit song about to be massacred. I don't expect much of him, and honestly he should just go home too.Safe song within his range, but he's bound to flub it up again.

RIZ
Seribu Tahun (Imran Ajmain)
Makanan dia.. tapi I'll bet he'll fall into Anuar Zain mode again. Honestly, one Anuar is enough. We don't need another clone.

STANLY
Kata (Hazami)
Perlu ke aku nak komen. Lagu sedap gila. Like Nubhan, bakal hancur ler lagik thanks to the person who is going to carry it.

TOI
Tak Bisakah (Peter Pan)
Another hopeless case. Aku bebetol give up with these kids.

More up her street even though she seems to think that Ular is more suited to her.

RINA
Ular (Anita Sarawak)
Suitable choice of songs, but they seem to be pigeonholing her into that sound. Wonder how she's going to break the mould of a lounge singer.

Another possible highlight of the week. Enough said.

All in all I don't see a lot of the songs as concert material, because they just lack the punch needed, but I suppose it caters to their strengths as well as challenges their weaknesses.. so there must be a reason for each and every selection by Ramli MS. We'll just have to see. Ada mini drama brewing sebab ada yang tak puas ati lagu tugasan...
