Oh Osaka...

So we got to Osaka fine. It was a long... tiring journey by a coach chartered for us. Still - thanks a rented portable WiFi thingamajig we had.. it was tolerable. At least I could update my Twitter and Instagram... paling pending tu. First stop... Osaka Castle. Beautiful. Tapi panas sangat dok tengok dari luar saja... the whole group masuk, I just had ice cream and a smoke to views it majestic beauty from outside.

Amir and Pito joined me as we took in the lush greenery of the surroundings.

Then since it was too early to check in we had a river tour of Osaka city.

A quick lunch, and then a rushed check in before we headed to Hard Rock Cafe Osaka.

You see that? Woohoo! Go Gerila! in the list of three performers for the opening night of the Kansai Music Conference together with Goh Watanabe Iris from Japan and Goodbye Motel from Australia.

A quick soundcheck - and a quick Lawson trip for instant food - and it was on to the opening night.

The boys did well. As the opening act for the night, they definitely set the pace for it. Memang tak malu lah Malaysia punya wakil. Sampai orang putih semua pin dok terdiam bebudak perform.

But I have to give it up to Goh Watanabe Iris. Dia solo, tapi diiringi band. Watanabe Iris ni maknyah... tapi rocker. Gempak! Performance top notch, sekali disertakan band dia tight gila! Sampai aku beli album dia wo!

Yang aku nak gelak yang omputeh dari Australia tu biasa-biasa je... takde benda hebat pun. So at least kita pun tahu... orang kita ni sebenarnya muzik ada standard... cuma mungkin kita ni susah nak dapat peluang nak main sebelah pemuzik negara lain susah nak bandingkan saja...

Reflecting...

I know I said aku tanak cita pasal any of the drama I've been through over the past week plus, but this is something slightly connected.

Of course, you guys know I basically shut down for three days over the end of last week. I promise, never ever to do that again. Not over stupid problems like what I went through. No more hitting the brakes of my life. Yes, I am human and I crack under pressure too. But learning from events past, I am only stronger.

I still don't believe I bothered that much about everything. So pointless and a waste of my time. Heh... we all make mistakes, kan? We're only human.

But thank you people for being there for me, I love all of you. Thank you to my sisters (so many of you who called and messaged me to find out what was going on sampai letih dowh aku nak jawab soal siasat tapi a special holler to Atilia and Ning for always being my big sisters apart from everyone in my 'family') and my brothers (especially Datuk Seri Farid Redzuan - nampak garang, but he's seriously sweet and someone I feel connected to with our ties to arwah Min).

Everyone - you know who you are. A million hugs.

All the comments, and all the concern... thank you so much everyone.

I believe in the power of prayers. Syukur. I believe a resolve came from it.

I promise myself and everyone I love and who loves me (tanpa agenda, niat atau kepentingan - being sincere may be stupid to some, but to pada stok yang kekurangan kasih sayang jerk) to continue being myself and appreciate what's truly important.

Things can only get better, right?

Owh.. and I have to mention my friend Amir. Dia ni gila sikit... molot lak cam sial - kalah mulot akak-akak (tapi yang ni memang jantan tulen - bukan feeling cover je tulen padahal konsep sejenis tak ngaku - yang mulot laser).

Hah... ni album Adrenalin on sale kat pintu masuk. Have you guys gotten your copy yet? Hey, it didn't win Album of the Year at AIM for nothing ok. It is an amazing album! Seriously!

Baju khas wat show Hard Rock Kuala Lumpur pon ada.

Belah belakang siap print out songlist of tunes to be performed tuh. Puas dok belakang mamat sekor yang pakai baju nih, tau jek aku lagu apa yang akan diperform. I like!

I was joined by member skolah rendah aku si Helmy and bini dia sekali. Jarang meka nak ke benda alah konsert dan sebagainya. Tapi demi nak tengok Faizal live, sanggup sampai amik babysitter.

Sorry la ta dapek jumpa Pejal. In fact ramai gak fans aku tau sedih tak dapat jumpa their fave act. Mana taknya, letih dowh mamat tuh. Rehearsal bagai, and packed schedule. Pastu sebelom show Hard Rock Cafe lak, dia kena perform kat Gah 1 yang nan hado, before rushing to make this engagement.

Ish ish ish... and he did sound very tired. Tapi Faizal rocked it anyway and it was a good show (tapi honestly, show Hard Rock Cafe Penang meletup agik).

Sebab ramai fans tak dapat jumpa Faizal pas abih show, korang nak tau sapa kerumun pas abih show?

Tuh dia!!! Audi Mok jadik mangsa seterusnya. Famous dowh Audi. Bukan famous sebarangan. Faizal siap paksa dia naik pentas. Heh! Malu gila. I mean, we all know Audi ni stok pemalu overdose. And his endearing weirdness memang wat orang gelak je.

Ni satu agik snap for fans masa tu. Altimet kena tarik ngan Audi tuk join skali.

Selamat malam...

Whoaaa. malam semalam memang havoc.

I didn't take too many pics cause aku da mata berair, hidung berhingus bagai. Euw..!!! But the show, trust me - was awesome!

Faizal was at his best, walaopon terlupa lirik a little and all, but the energy of his performance was staggering.
Cup! Iklan jap! All Hard Rock Cafe mesti ada rock memorabilia kan? But in Penang, I spotted dua yang memang make me want to break the glass of the display case and bawak lari isi nya.

And the things that caught my eyes were...

Tuh dia. The black motorcycle hat, I've seen Madonna wear before!

Me likey Madonna big time, so I was just looking at this item lama-lama. Autographed tuh!

And if that wasn't enough....

And that's the second item. That bustier which she wore during the Who's That Girl tour.

Matilah... anyways... was bushed, and after the show naik bilik tidur jap. Well konon nak tidur... tapi tak pon. Stakat makan ubat, rehat jap, and later supper ngan kengkawan (lapar lak tetiba), and tengok-tengok Faizal and gang pon winding down sana.

Achoo!

Just a quickie entry on day two in Penang. Hari ni PC pelancaran for the Adrenalin album. Whooping it up here in Hard Rock Hotel Penang... if I didn't feel sick.

Running nose, and tearing eyes.. aduh.

Still held it together kat Hard Rock Cafe masa launch tadik... but I definitely need a doctor soon.

Still things good. It's actually fun here, cuma sayang I'm not in the state to enjoy it all. Nak turun to the beach pon takde mood. Aduh...

By the way... for Penangits or those heading here, for one month only, get something special on the Hard Rock Cafe Penang menu.

There's the Adrenalin burger - and the Adrenalin drink (which is delicious!).

By the way, I like the Hard Rock Cafe here better than KL. It's nicer.

Sayang...

After a slow boring weekend which was HOT, syukur la hari ni not so bad.

First of all, the nice, cloudy - almost gray day was welcome relief and secondly sebab after getting enough rest, belah malam gi Hard Rock Cafe nak layan Dayang and Marcell performing live.

Dah lama, sejak zaman Planet Hollywood takde showcase yang camni, in this kind of environment (I'm not a fan of No Black Tie - but I love Malam Nada Biru which just had its second show).

So seronok lak ada showcase camni. Dayang and Marcell were AWESOME. Sapa ada kat show tuh will testify to that. Kalao ikut show camnih biasa at the end of 45 minutes mesti ada break or intermission - for the performer to recover as well as not to have the audiences bored.

Dayang and Marcell kept passing the baton, first opening together, then each taking turns going solo with the occasional duet thrown in. I like!!! They went on about two hours! Gila!!!

Aku tak bawak camera, so pakai Blackberry je la jawab nya. Korang troll about blog bebudak lain mesti ada pics show. Me, aku shoot dari seat aku je, which was next to the performer's table.

Here's to a crazy week! Esok malam lak ada Umie punya berinai. Pagi patutnya nak join Star World punya event meka host for the Oscars (a breakfast with the Oscars thing they do every year), but since taking my mom out so have to pass on that.

Eh ok la.. kata tanak go on... tak stop agik. Ciao bella!
