Reflecting...

I know I said aku tanak cita pasal any of the drama I've been through over the past week plus, but this is something slightly connected.

Of course, you guys know I basically shut down for three days over the end of last week. I promise, never ever to do that again. Not over stupid problems like what I went through. No more hitting the brakes of my life. Yes, I am human and I crack under pressure too. But learning from events past, I am only stronger.

I still don't believe I bothered that much about everything. So pointless and a waste of my time. Heh... we all make mistakes, kan? We're only human.

But thank you people for being there for me, I love all of you. Thank you to my sisters (so many of you who called and messaged me to find out what was going on sampai letih dowh aku nak jawab soal siasat tapi a special holler to Atilia and Ning for always being my big sisters apart from everyone in my 'family') and my brothers (especially Datuk Seri Farid Redzuan - nampak garang, but he's seriously sweet and someone I feel connected to with our ties to arwah Min).

Everyone - you know who you are. A million hugs.

All the comments, and all the concern... thank you so much everyone.

I believe in the power of prayers. Syukur. I believe a resolve came from it.

I promise myself and everyone I love and who loves me (tanpa agenda, niat atau kepentingan - being sincere may be stupid to some, but to pada stok yang kekurangan kasih sayang jerk) to continue being myself and appreciate what's truly important.

Things can only get better, right?

The losers who try to fuck me up... pe pe je lah. I sincerely wish you a good life.

Owh.. and I have to mention my friend Amir. Dia ni gila sikit... molot lak cam sial - kalah mulot akak-akak (tapi yang ni memang jantan tulen - bukan feeling cover je tulen padahal konsep sejenis tak ngaku - yang mulot laser).

Hah... ni album Adrenalin on sale kat pintu masuk. Have you guys gotten your copy yet? Hey, it didn't win Album of the Year at AIM for nothing ok. It is an amazing album! Seriously!

Baju khas wat show Hard Rock Kuala Lumpur pon ada.

Belah belakang siap print out songlist of tunes to be performed tuh. Puas dok belakang mamat sekor yang pakai baju nih, tau jek aku lagu apa yang akan diperform. I like!

I was joined by member skolah rendah aku si Helmy and bini dia sekali. Jarang meka nak ke benda alah konsert dan sebagainya. Tapi demi nak tengok Faizal live, sanggup sampai amik babysitter.

Sorry la ta dapek jumpa Pejal. In fact ramai gak fans aku tau sedih tak dapat jumpa their fave act. Mana taknya, letih dowh mamat tuh. Rehearsal bagai, and packed schedule. Pastu sebelom show Hard Rock Cafe lak, dia kena perform kat Gah 1 yang nan hado, before rushing to make this engagement.

Ish ish ish... and he did sound very tired. Tapi Faizal rocked it anyway and it was a good show (tapi honestly, show Hard Rock Cafe Penang meletup agik).

Sebab ramai fans tak dapat jumpa Faizal pas abih show, korang nak tau sapa kerumun pas abih show?

Tuh dia!!! Audi Mok jadik mangsa seterusnya. Famous dowh Audi. Bukan famous sebarangan. Faizal siap paksa dia naik pentas. Heh! Malu gila. I mean, we all know Audi ni stok pemalu overdose. And his endearing weirdness memang wat orang gelak je.

Hate on me, hater

What a lovely Sunday morning!

Morning ke? Da late in the afternoon baru nak update entry. Biasalah... nak tidur dengan nyenyak ujung-ujung minggu nih nak rehat bagai kan.

Bangun je rasa sihat! I feel brand new! Bukan konsep Brands Generasi Hebat yang dok promo sepanjang Konsert Akademi Fantasia ok!

A couple of things nak blog, of course pasal konsert semalam yang *ehem*.. nanti je ek.

Secondly pasal 'ugutan'.

Bab ugutan ni.. kelakar kan? Semalam aku sebut je, terus zast pic aku masuk ke dalam groups tertentu. Heh.. tima kasih... macam nak masukkan aku je kan. Orang ingat aku meminta kot.

Yeah well.. aku kapir kah... aku tindik kah... ok jerk. Jap.. Ikea tengah sale ek.. gi la beli cermin. Kalao tak aku rekomenkan Nilai 3. Wholesale tuh.

I am confident enough in who I am, to not be intimidated nor bothered with what people have to think of me to argue with them or to try and change their perception, if that is how they choose to live their lives, thinking that their opinions form some sort of validation for their lives. At the end of the day - if you live life like a popularity competition (and you only should if you're in Akademi Fantasia and not the real world), then you'll never be happy. And I know that - so I could care less what people think of me.

Manusia paling sempurna pon ada pengkritik dan orang yang benci. Aku ni yang tak sempurna apa agik kan...

Deal with it.

So I'm cool. Whatever people have to say.

Senang kan nak lump people into one category. Shows what ignorance goes into it all, untuk nak compactkan segala aku lakukan dalam kerjaya aku in that little kesimpulan yang hado tuh that was done without research.

So, to the haters... this song is for you. Come on, sing along positive people. Whatever people want to say, all you have to do is sing - hate on me, hater! Now or later! Heh... sing that next time someone tries to bring you down.

Anyway if you didn't know, tu original version by Jill Scott. I like Amber Riley's version dalam Glee, but nothing beats the original kan?

Ok da.. enough with haters. Pasal show semalam. Konsert Akademi Fantasia minggu pertama. Aduh.. kalao bukan kerana tugas, aku rasa dok umah agik baik.

Hakikatnya aku nak review pon rasa kejam sangat kang.

For me, out of 12 of them, mungkin three or four again je yang leh pakai. Yang lain haus sangat. Yang kira ok lak, start je ok... pastu jadik screaming competition. Which is basically a summary of the show - a screaming competition.

Onstage none of them looked natural, too choreographed, too distracted and vocals - simply trying too hard that most of them went flat, sharp, slurred etc. You name it, they did it.

Nak kata ni cuma konsert pertama, da kira second performance. Still way, way substandard.

The worst thing is - technically takpe sangat la. Tu tak amik pot. But at the end of the of the day - onstage all of them are colourless and lack personality of any sort.

Layan je video and make up your mind for yourselves.

Just some observation semalam.

*Jimmy did better, credit where credit is due, dan chemistry dia ngan Sarimah nampak menjadi sikit banding ngan Tirai minggu lepas. Kudos for that Jimmy.

*Tetap selain set design, programming nak wat Debaran as a results show bagai nak tiru Idol, semalam siap ada green room segment. Konsep Jimmy interview dalam bilik belakang pentas, pastu ak tu lari atas pentas nak wat performance. Jimmy is not Seacrest and Akademi Fantasia is not Idol. Period!

*I know they need to acknowledge sponsor but the Brands bit tuh - geli lah! Hard selling has not worked for the last two decades. They think it'll come back in fashion?

*Blame the contestants or abang Dee's (Adnan Abu Hassan) minus ones? Kenapa most of the performances seem disjointed with the music. Cam tak masuk suara ngan minus one...

*Ending memang anti climax (not that there was a climax in the show pon) sebab takde elimination. Nine weeks of this to go. Production masih tak sedar ke show dah lah susah nak peak in emotion, pastu nak cantas the only thing that guaranteed that.

Oh well... mintak-mintak meka tweak sana sini nak improve la.

Placebo live!

Any fans of Placebo here? The show was earlier tonight. I missed it because despite REALLY wanting to go, I decided tanak la... sebab nak berehat. I need to get my health back, and since on medication too, I thought it would hardly be wise to go out.

Feeling old! Anyway, here are pics of Placebo during their arrival a few days ago, as well as pics from the show just now. These pics are from the organizers, so I hope no fucktards out there watermarks these pics and claims it as theirs.

Use the pics freely in your blogs/forum or sites, but in NO way should these images be altered or watermarked! That would be simply unethical and stealing someone's intellectual property - hence use it as is ok.
