Selamat malam...

Whoaaa. malam semalam memang havoc.

I didn't take too many pics cause aku da mata berair, hidung berhingus bagai. Euw..!!! But the show, trust me - was awesome!

Faizal was at his best, walaopon terlupa lirik a little and all, but the energy of his performance was staggering.
Cup! Iklan jap! All Hard Rock Cafe mesti ada rock memorabilia kan? But in Penang, I spotted dua yang memang make me want to break the glass of the display case and bawak lari isi nya.

And the things that caught my eyes were...

Tuh dia. The black motorcycle hat, I've seen Madonna wear before!

Me likey Madonna big time, so I was just looking at this item lama-lama. Autographed tuh!

And if that wasn't enough....

And that's the second item. That bustier which she wore during the Who's That Girl tour.

Matilah... anyways... was bushed, and after the show naik bilik tidur jap. Well konon nak tidur... tapi tak pon. Stakat makan ubat, rehat jap, and later supper ngan kengkawan (lapar lak tetiba), and tengok-tengok Faizal and gang pon winding down sana.

Anyway, pada fans of Faizal - here are some more pics for you guys.

Note the FT guitar he's holding, has been given to Hard Rock Cafe Penang and will be displayed there.

Er... last pic tu propah ye. Si Faizal wat ala ala nak smash it, but trust me, he didn't. Matilah nak ganti since da jadik Hard Rock Cafe Penang property dah.

Will post later.. still not feeling too well.

Kronologi Cinta

First of all, congratulations to Vince for launching his fourth album pas Vince, Janji Vince and Percayalah Sayang. Skang terbitlah... Kronologi Cinta.

Dalam time company memasing semua sengkek nak kuar single je (sebab sendiri tarak confident langsung product memasing leh jual) NSR actually released a full album for Vince, juara Akademi Fantasia suatu tika dahulu in 2003.

Amik ko.. ada juara pon yang da bye bye dah... apa lagik nak kuar album, Vince masih hanging tough with a new album.

So congratulations Vince. Lama da tak jumpa mamat nih. Slalu jumpa mom dia and Vanessa jerk (Pam pon tapi minah ni skang lagik sibuk). Biasala.. adik beradik semua satu kuarga skang da star.

Pe pon... sapa minat Vince, get his new album NOW! Dah release pon. Dengar penjualan doing quite well because while it's just been released, dah ada repeat order katanya.

On top of that, dia also nak kuarkan a Chinese-medium EP. Amik ko... conquer bukan satu market tujuan nya tuh.

The 'funnest' things hari ni though wasn't attending the launch of Vince's album. But after that when was having a meeting. Happened to be online and caught this activity in Twitter.

Now we all know Twitter and Facebook are bad right? Evil even.. because our leaders tell us so.

Cue a particular comment from a Minister I blogged about before this.

Here's a refresher.

Malaysians advised against being immersed in Facebook, Twitter

SEREMBAN: Malaysians, especially Muslims, must avoid being totally immersed in the internet culture, especially Facebook and Twitter, said Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

He added that facilities like internet could not be accepted wholly because it was a form of business introduced by the West and "Malaysians were just users."

"We are not saying that they cannot use Facebook or Twitter but when using such facilities they must upkeep the values taught by Islam, Buddhism or Christianity to maintain our culture," he told reporters after opening a Seminar on the 1Malaysia concept here on Saturday.

He added that Malaysians who used internet services on social networking sites should be careful with what they see and hear.

"We must be strong in our believes and culture because the identity and image of our country depends on us.

"They are just selling Facebook, Twitter, L-Band and various other services, even through space, as a product but we do not do such business. We accept all this in a state of cultural shock," he said.

He chided some Malaysians who belittled those who were no savvy of the Facebook and Twitter culture.

"We should not be quick to condemn or look down on those who do not use Facebook. Newspapers are still relevant, so is Facebook, but do not be carried away with everything and disregard the old system," he said.

That was part of the article taken from The Star a few days ago. To read more CLICK HERE.

So how did all the beautiful Malaysians respond in true 1Malaysia fashion?

While someone was probably wearing a cap that said this...

And planning the death of Twitter and Facebook...

Everyone united in the spirit of togetherness and created a trending topic (if you don't know what that is - it's basically a topic by term) on Twitter called (get ready for this) #yorais.

The point of the hashtag discussion? To talk (more like try and outdo each other) about how antiquated the Minister is.

And the result?

Thousands of Tweets that made #yorais one of the most Tweeted trending topics on Twitter. Check out the snapshot from here. I swear at one point it was actually second! And the guys tried to outdo themselves to go for most tweeted.. but I left for supper. So I opted out of the fun.

Joined back on Twitter only much, much later... and the fun had ceased (everyone needed sleep, I guess). But the fun part? Seeing at least one smart politician who used Twitter to be.. well.. smart!

Congratulations KJ. At least someone thinks before he says.. or Tweets anything. Respect! As for #yorais, wonder if the fun will continue tomorrow...
