Kurung dan terus berkurung! Ya ampun... seksanya nak tulis kalau writer's block ni. Harus aku wat gila agik nak naik Genting pose ngan laptop sorang diri tuk carik ilham cam arituh....

Takpe. Walaopon I SHOULD have done everything by now - aku bagi masa diri ku sampai ujung minggu ni. It's a long weekend with Nuzul Quran and all...

So my day ari nih started with majlis berbuka puasa kat umah Mawi kat Bandar Baru Bangi. First time jenguk umah botak yang nih.

Masa aku sampai... sebab jam bagai... da kol 7 malam. Sampai skali ngan Que Haidar ngan Linda Jasmine ngan dua anak meka.

Ni sempat snappy pic Linda ngan Ratu. So cute, baby dia.

Owh by the way. I have to admit, lagik satu sebab aku lambat sikit sebab singgah nak pick up sesuatu. Terus pakai...

Alamak! Aku tau la aku janji takkan shopping agik... but this was big.. roomy.. and erm... Gucci.

Akibatnya ujung minggu ni ada warehouse sale FJ Benjamin aku rasa aku tak gi la walaopon bajet nak cari baju keja Raoul sikit. Tengok camna (tak insaf shopping agik ni.. ish ish ish)

Sambung cita. Ni masa Pak Nil nak balik. Pose nampak candid - tapi Aznil saja pose bagi nampak candid katanya. Ngan rambut tak blow... heh! Ada ku perasan pon? Aznil lepas photo shoot tuh... dia tweet kata kena bukak dalam keta sebab rushing. Tapi dia sampai I think about 7.45pm ke kol 8pm. Takde la lewat sangat.. ok la tuh.

Sebenarnya majlis kat umah Mawi kecil-kecilan ni ada beberapa sebab. One sebab nak buka puasa la.. siap jamu anak yatim.

One more reason kira Mawi nak tunjuk hasil keja directorial debut dia tuk telemovie Pak Nil Ibu Kirim Salam yang akan ditayangkan kol 12, hari Jumaat pada raya keenam di Astro Prima.

And one more reason? Nak doa selamat tuk birthday si botak.

Sempat jenguk isi rumah botak. Aku paling suka ada satu almari nih, dak ni simpan barang magic dia. Ada agik barang aku bagi. Terharu aku si Mawi ni hargai pemberian orang (ko tak hargai aku bantai ko gila - benda aku bagi tu bukan senang dapat) Heh!

Linda Onn pon ada.... actually quite a few yang lakon dalam telemovie Mawi ada tapi malas aku snappy jek.

Nak gerak tengok jam mak aih. da dekat kol 12!

Next destination - sahur awal. Ngan kengkawan as usual.

Ye... sapa follow aku kat Twitter mesti tau aku usik orang time semalam posa aku asik sebut nak sangat A&W root beer.

Merasalah.. ni first round lepas kempunan gituh.

Ok.. nak sambung sesi gosip! Esok ada something EXCITING! Yeay! Nanti je aku cita...

Phew!

Aku exhausted. My brain has been working overtime - if you can believe it. Cracking my skull wide open to try put together some new proposals. Syukurlah rezeki mencurah bagi company, plus on top of that, been planning some work related stuff.

Petang tadi, abih je send in keja, aku headed for Astro's buka puasa kat KL Convention Centre.

Sampai a little late because of the traffic.

But still happy and feeling accomplished. Especially since hari kedua aku da stick to my little exercise regiment. Yes, jangan gelak. Dalam bulan puasa ni, bought some weights (I hate gyms, and I know I can never discipline myself to stick to going to one despite endless free memberships thrown at me) and devised a little workout plan for myself.

My plan nak tone myself up, and not so much lose weight - but to achieve a better more buffed p look (muscle weighs more than fat - so tak kisah la kalao berat pon).

So far stuck to it so memang endorphin rush kot sebab all happy and positive.

Even when sampai KLCC pun rilek lagik - walaopon rasa nak hempuk orang. Da la lepas waktu berbuka da, about 7.40pm when I arrived.

The open air carpark sebelah the convention centre rupanya ada sistem baru. Bayar masa masuk. Kinda like an autopay machine - but you pay on entry.

Kena bayar RM7, and only RM1 and RM5 notes accepted. Baru masuk dua je sangkut. Tekan intercom hado response? Five minutes later of being patient and jabbing frantically at the intercom and trying to stuff notes, ada la mamat jaga parking ni sampai.

He couldn't do shit, so he intercommed (leh lak ada respon time dia tekan.. sial je), and waited another five minutes for someone to arrive to 'fix' the machine.

Needless to say sampai je, both of them didn't know what to do - which wasted a few more minutes, and finally they just collected the money from me and let me in. Erm... couldn't they have done that from the beginning? Stupid!

But my endorphins were buzzing about and no time nak upset. Dari jejak kat ballroom sampai HOURS later, dari ujung ke ujung, ramai sangat kawan aku jumpa.

From my company client in the Maxis heads, to friends within various media and PR organisations, to kengkawan artis. Sebab sibuk borak merata (the whole range of the crowd wa because it was an open event for media, clients and such of Astro), tak sempat snappy pics sangat.

Dapat la gosip hangat!!! Heh! Takleh cita sini... tapi memang terbukti statement aku selama ni. Bangkai kalao nak cover berliter perfume pun lambat laun orang terbau gak kebangkaiannya (pepandai je pepatah entah haper ntah). Yang penting, something is going to happen soon, yang indirectly orang akan tau betapa bangkainya subjek carutan aku ni.

Dapat work out basically I have two more proposal to submit, with one major event to handle in October.

Also coaxed by some friends to join a regional reality TV series coming out. Aiyo... aku selalu tulis pasal reality TV, can't imagine myself in one. Mmm... sounds fun though. I'm sure kalao dapat, I'll be the series punya bitch and clown. Matilah censored tak abih bahasa aku nih.

Fun like hell for sure. Thanks la Astro for a buka puasa bash yang memang happening this time around. The food was good too. Tak pay attention entertainment because I think we all provided enough on our own.

Sempat snap dua pic je sebab these people lepak paling lama I think apart from me. At least time aku tak distracted sempat snappy lah.

Got some ideas buzzing, got some potential upcoming jobs... tak sabar. Things are good. I hope the momentum keeps picking up.

Maybe despite all the bullshit happening... maybe, just maybe... my dreams are coming true.

Lepaked and sahured at Pelita - biasalah time puasa ni, itulah second home again, walaupon skang da kurang port kat sana.

Nak tidur skang. Esok lots to do. Hugs to you guys. Hope you back in the working mood after the long weekend. Me raring to go go go... if I can these aching muscles to function. Rasa cam bengkak satu badan walaopon baru dua hari.

Today was a good day!

Pay day! It's been a year plus since dapat regular pay cheque susah nak percaya. Back to makan gaji! Sort of... since I still have my own outfit to run. So, this is like the basics, and the rest I earn is more of loose change (and for the folks, as well as savings and a little extra shopping)

But apart from that, hari ni berbuka kat event Astro.

Majlis untuk unveil the programming by Astro channels for the Raya period. Banyak wo! Some kelakar tak kena.. but some really good.

Ni some pics of the event. Sapa nak lepas rindu kat Mawi dan Datuk Siti Nurhaliza sebab da lama aku tak update about them, here they are, along with some other pics I snapped.

The best part was bumping into kak Nita and hubby abang Mahathir sebab da lama tak jumpa meka. They make me feel so good because they always talk about my column. Bangga la ada diva cam dia ni, puji hasil kerja. Anyway, had a good chin wag with them, and the rest was more to santai.

Memula nak disaster sikit sebab the outdoor event tu kena pindah indoors sebab hujan. Ada orang lupa ke nak upah khidmat bomoh hujan? But all in all - despite the cramped conditions and all - it was fun still.

Berangan je lebih keja tak penah vast. Anyway, to cut a long story short... hari tu, lepas shooting AF Raya di Melaka, ada gosip keluar kat Harian Metro.

Walaopon aku takde kena mengena, biasalah... aku la jadik prime suspect. Sabar je lah...

Aku tak kisah la sebab aku selama ni kunci mulut kalao aku dok kat dalam ketika Akademi Fantasia, so sebab takde rasa feeling of guilt, ada aku kisah? Kan! So aku pon tak kisah kalao orang nak tuduh ke fitnah.

Tapi yang aku sakit hati, binatang tuh ni dok perli aku. Aku wat bodoh je lah. Benda camni kang melayan lagik menjadi. Batal niat posa seharian. Eh... erm... anyway, I think some people kan, seriously threatened by me, sampai they just find it easier to bitch than try and improve themselves.

Oh whatever... dalam hidup ni, berkali kali aku jumpa da orang camni. Wat bodoh je... kita keja keras dengan ikhlas, God willing, adalah hasilnya. Besides, as I always say, karma will take its course.

Wat baik ngan orang pun camni.. huh.

Anyways, lepak sampai tengah malam tuh! Da habis event layan kuih muih borak ngan Aishah, Chi dan Metra. Ngumpat.. eh.. berborak je keja. Tak lupa kak Izan pon join. Merasalah dia kena carot je. Heh! Ampun kak Izan!

Eh ok la... nak tidor!

Esok ke lusa aku upload performance Siti dan Faizal Tahir. Besh woo!!!!! Malas nak transfer, convert, edit dan upload skang. Soon... tunggu!!!

Sent my sis to Setiawangsa earlier today cause she's heading back to Jakarta tomorrow. Am so going to miss her, but she'll be back next month, plus her stint there is only extended to March... so hurray.

Settle jer, sayang aku call dari nun jauh. Eh... tetiba sayang lak. Heh.... da orang melamar kita tima je la.

Anyway, aku headed straight to Amcorp Mall in PJ where the New Straits Times Group Gaza fundraiser was being held. Thanks Farihad from Berita Harian for inviting me. Ingat gak ko ngan aku kan...

Didn't do much snapping. Sikit sikit jer la sebab kecoh sangat. The place was packed, cause the venue was pretty small, but semangat artis artis kita. Sayang majority crowd mai nak amik pic artis je bukan nak seriously help the cause. Oh well.. I guess every little bit helps kan.

Spent most of the time borak ngan Faizal - Tahir ler... Faizal mana agik. Exchanged some ideas about a possible project. Also sempat ler exchange words with Lan from Meet Uncle Hussain, Fahrin Ahmad... and lots more.

But the best saleswoman kan, must have been Sarimah yang bersungguh jual koleksi kasut dan baju dia. Heard she made over RM800 in total for the fund on her own, with her personal stuff that she hawked at very affordable prices. Congrats... semangat ksk Mah kita kan. mana taknya... tengok Sarimah in action.

Amik ko!!! Cam nak pukul ngan kasut kalao tak beli je apa dia jual. Heh.

Speaking of Sarimah, dia baru balik dari LA. She bought me some nice souvenirs (well they were nice gifts... but dunno if they count as souvenirs). Please note if you don't understand the joke behind some of these more humorous items, don't ask me to explain ek.

Love is in the air

Merasalah kan title tetiba nak love is in the air. Bukan aku la. Aku naik fobia perkataan tuh skang. Heh... tapi still, being an old fashioned romantic (katanya....) I like watching people who are in love.

And semalam masa persandingan Mawi dan Ekin diberi nama 1001 Malam (tu tempoh tuk apa ek), aku perasan ada kengkawan aku yang berada dalam industri memasing da melaram partner baru.

Tapi kira cover sikit sikit ler. In fact, dua pasangan to be exact yang aku rasa serasi gila sebenarnya. Tapi since aku tanak la publisiti murahan, and these people are my friends, biar aku diamkan je. Kang kalao ada rezeki sampai ke jinjang pelamin, aku bersyukur jerk atas kejayaan sampai ke situ.

Korang carik clue sendiri la.

Anyway, semalam benda paling touching semalam tuk aku ni.

No.. no.. no. This picture doesn't tell it all. Of course, it's the final persandingan between Mawi dan Ekin. But as the union of both of them, is known by the whole country.. perhaps people should see sapa yang hadir, dok jauh belakang dewan semalam.

Ada satu pasangan yang menarik minat aku tuk strain a little bit more to make sure aku tak mistaken.

And no I wasn't.

It was Mawi's ex fiancee Ina sekali ngan suami dia Suhaimi and their kid.

Aku terdiam jap. Teringat time sembang ngan Ina, and also Mawi during masa all the controversy and fighting broke out in the papers. I heard both sides of the story, and aku tatau nak cakap apa.
Sometimes... these things just happen....

But semalam, hati aku tersentuh. Melihat kehadiran Ina. Jauh di sudut hati, aku berharap Mawi yang inginkan Ina hadir tuk melihat his happy day (da berapa kali da happy day gituh) and not some person yang invite sebab saja nak gimik kehadiran Ina.

Apapon... it was touching that Ina and Suhaimi attended. I suppose this is what it means to have true love. In whatever form. Love is forgiving.

And I guess... having been in love, I should be too. So to that person, I forgive you for being such an asshole to me - maybe it's just you and I have to accept that. So remember - SHOO! Matilah lari topik balik bak mencarut.

Anyway, at the moment, me happy enough with my life. Love is no longer that kalao it distracts you and pains you beyond comprehension. So me happy with friends pun leh da lah...

Apapon, seronok dapat jumpa Ina pas so long tak meet her. Dia pon masih ingat aku. Sembang pendek je.

Eh... start melalut da aku ni.

Ok... korang nak pictures je kan sebenarnya. So aku teruskan je. Bab naik bot dan kuda bagai, jauh sangat dari kita so aku tak amik pics. Aku snap pon mostly of friends, and a little bit here and there of the decor.

Sebenarnya malas nak amik of the ceremony sangat. Aku rasa dari luar tuh, cam sarkas da. If it was one, it would be equivalent to a three ring circus co-organised by the Barnum & Bailey and Ringling Brothers gituh. The essence of it was there, but too much 'grandeur' actually cheapened it in some ways instead of the opposite desired effect.
