Make me wanna shout!

Had so much fun at the Shout! Awards malam tadi. Thanks to everyone over at 8TV as well as the Media Prima family for the improved hospitality this year. Slight glitches here and there but a pretty impressive show nonetheless.

I didn't focus on much and had too much fun to recount anything else. Heh...

The post party was whacked though as it was too packed and hot. Didn't snap too many pics.

That's Nora Danish dan Betty Rahmad. Cantik kan dua-dua? Sujud! Natural beauties. I can't stand women who pile on too much make-up and I think both of them memang au naturel pon lawa gila.

Jap.. mai main teka teki sikit. Kasut artis manakan ini? Tinggi wo! I think we're talking five inches easily (could be more)

Sambil korang jawab, ni snappy pic Vanessa dan Moots dari Popshuvit. Can't wait for this happy couple to get hitched next year.

Funnyman of the night - Zizan. Orang nak kata lawak kampung ke haper ke, he was easily the funniest man of the night and spontaneous!

Dah dapat jawapan kasut sapa tadi? Ni dia, supermodel of the world gituh pose sakan! Congratulations to Yuna for being the big winner of the night.

Apart from her music, I applaud Yuna because she does have good fashion sense. In fact, I think girls in tudungs can now feel stylist because of someone like Yuna yang tutup abih, tapi tetap maintain rupa stylo and edgy.

Not the easiest of a mix, but still it so works!

And finally, last but not least - 6ixth Sense. They won for Mobile Artist of the Year. Tang download tuh meka memang vast!

These are the ladies (Serena C was missing) who are the faces of the campaign, termasuk myself as the digital ambassadors among a few more others.

And we are all sending out a message to women - get you plumbing checked! Or in more crude terms - service your cervix!

As long as you are a woman who has achieved puberty and are sexually active (tak kisah la ko maintain virgin in public, tapi as long as you have sex) please do go for a pap smear. Sad that so many ladies think skali seumur hidup da cukup. Ish... takleh gituh. Bukan susah, bukan sakit, dan bukan mahal pon., So pepandai la. Demi masa depan sendiri.

Ni abang aku. Heh.. Datuk Seri Farid Ridzuan yang camera shy gituh! Nak amik gambar sorang dia mesti malu nak mampuih.

So kena ajak Rina pose ngan dia. Rina lak... mula mula tanak mai, sebab dia pakai ala sporty for the Power Over Cervical Campaign event. So in the event, wardrobe punya nasihat - ni how we cover up. Pic ngan DS.

But lazy to update. Staying home today. Don't feel too well.

Playing with my Mac still and familiarizing myself with it, since I loathed going new Macs before this and I am clueless still on the shortcuts and the applications. Tu la akibatnya lama pakai PC sampai tak reti nak ubah angin.

So-sial event

Tension tahap gaban aku smalam. Temankan Faz, along with Juan and Ju ke event pelancaran majalan hiburan baru ni. Malas nak sebut event apa la. Tak perlu nak bagik promosi percuma untuk event yang macam $%^&!!!

Yang make my blood go upstairs sangat sebab aku kesian sangat panggil selebriti tempatan nak make the event more meletup gituh, tapi layanan diberikan macam. Erm...

Dahler staff dia tak kenal majority of the local artists, especially the Malay entertainment industry. So ko imagine ler the sort of things that can and did happen. Sakit jiwa kalao aku repeat. Yang dia kenal yang bukan Melayu saja.

Apahal nak wat event camni sebab nak the attention, tapi tetap ignore when you get what you've gotten. So salah ok!

Anyway, seb baik ada ler aku snappy some pics tuk isi masa. Thank goodness ramai gak kengkawan hadir. Walaupun memasing semua muka sentap gak sebab yang ada free flow Stout je. Aiyo... tak sensitif langsung meka. Rupanya someone forgot to mention Coke was an alternative. Matilah...

So ramai terlopong bodoh jer la... lucky sempat isi masa ngan gosip. Merasalah.
Got to chill with Faz, goss ngan Sarimah sebab lama da tak catch up ngan dia, as well as borak panjang ngan Vanessa.

Tapi aku terbodoh gak event tuh sebab aku jumpa someone yang erm... you know when you meet someone yang, I don't know.. just makes you wish there and then ko leh propose to them?

Sempat sembang ngan dia tapi I think I made a fool out of myself sebab nervous. There you go. Interview memacam orang tapi simple conversation ngan someone I fancy leh horror.

Macamana tuh... damn.

Moving on... so here are some pics of friends at the most boring event of the year.

And of course I have to feature Faz, sebab loved the Chanel ankle purse she wore which was like really red, and matched with the red trademark soles of her Christian Louboutin. Check out the second pic to pick up on the Chanel ankle purse. It's so cute! They made their rounds on the catwalk a few seasons ago but if you saw the Nelly music video Stepped On My Js, Ciara ada pakai pon.

One pic I snapped which I liked a lot was Rich and Velvet together. Yes, they're coming out. Tak nak cover cover lagik! Not like we didn't know they were an item, but it was sweet to see them together as one.

And then... Vanessa was with a friend who just arrived fom Japan. For fans of The Amazing Race Asia 2, you'll recognise the Japanese contestant who was up again Van and Pam along with her brother. I think her name's Sawaka. Before anyone asks who's that with Sarimah.. tuh adik dia.

The last pic tuh si Razif Hashim. Remember he was in Gol Dan Gincu. Also Ghost, and movies Goodbye Boys dan yang terbaru Jarum Halus. Also in a couple of theatre productions and last seen in 8TV's Quickie before he quit. Dalam berapa minggu he's heading for London nak pursue his Masters in acting. Good luck Raz!!!

Bangga talents muda kita. Sayang old crockpots rule the business when young promising talents like this overlooked.

Eh dahlah... nak kuar jejalan. Bosan dok rumah ari ni takde keja nak wat lak.

The Amazing Race Asia 2 Finale Party

Ok, today is officially crap. First of all, organisers I was going with to the finale party for The Amazing Race Asia 2 in Singapore took us there by bus.

Ok actually, if they had told us that leaving our cars parked in their damn office block would be charged by HOUR - I suppose much of the antagonising would have been lessened! Gila ke haper nak biar keta 36 jam or so camtuh.

In the end, moved my car to friend's place nearby and left my car there and popped in a cab to go back to where kita nak berlepas together.

On the bus, the driver lemau nak mampos. Da la bak slower than a snail with a sprained whatever it uses to glide along - dia siap leh borak borak ngan co-driver dia without looking at the road. Uh oh... mayhem waiting to happen.

Tried to sleep but it didn't work. Dozed off after a while. Tapi awoke to a commotion. Yeap.. driver tatau jalan ke our hotel!

Pathetic.

So aku dok diam jerk malas sebab da irritated kalao tak aku ngamuk kang kalao bukak mulot. Can you believe it? It took us about SEVEN freaking hours to get to the hotel. Dimwit! The hotel itself, Park Hotel Orchard smack in the middle of Orchard Road wasn't too bad, tapi not enough nak cool me off.




Pastuh sampai da lambat, so we managed to check in and freshen up sebelom we were to wait in the lobby to hang out and wait for our transport to Clarke Quay. Tunggu punya tunggu, I got irritated and grabbed a cab. Senang idop. Matilah organiser blur. Sampai ke Clarke Quay nak ke Indochine, saw a sign. Merasalah! Felt like I was in the race itself nak carik jalan ke venue. The ambience kat the area cooled me off I suppose.




Bumped into Vince. Chatted a little then masuk ke Indochine. Wow! This wasn't the same place I remember being in years ago. Ingat tempat sama... Love the decor.





The stage was set, tapi none of the contestants in sight. Until Van and Pam popped out. Smangat!!!!



Took a family photo of the Chongs, minus one brother yang tak hadir and of course the two girls yang standby in the holding area. Also bumped into a familiar face. Remember her? As the night progressed on, started snapping pics of the girls and the other finalists.

The show began, after the other contestants of the show were announced to be in attendance. Hampir semua hadir, tapi ada la beberapa orang not about. Erm.. don't mind these pics, bawah ni goodie bag yang meka bagik.




Congrats to Adrian and Collin, though I still wished Pam and Van had won, though I think Mark and Rovilson deserved the win a little more. Still, all three pairs were awesome in their own way, and it didn't realy feel like competition. The three were presented with their prizes. Tak menang pon takper la. At least Van and Pam won FOUR mobile phones, that's two each for winning two legs before. Ni some other pics of the guys chilling out.

So officially, Collin and Adrian of Singapore in first place, van and Pam of Malaysia in second and Mark and Rovilson of Philippines in third.

Oh by the way - we saw the show an hour before it was broadcast. Heh... sayang time tuh malas nak update... kalao tak leh spoiler tuk korang.

Pas abih lepak with all of them, and hugging my two sisters who did Malaysia proud, left Indochine.



Went back to the hotel and chilled out a while and then ke Mustafa Centre to have supper.



Jalan jalan just looking about and headed back to the hotel by 2am. Ngantuk. And need my medication. Apapon... congrats Van and Pam.

You two girls did us proud to cme in second no matter what. And for all of us, you're always first anyway no matter what.

To Anne and Diane, you guys did Malaysia proud as well.

As Rovilson was saying, "Malaysian chicks are tough!" You betcha! Two pairs and one finishes second and one finishes fourth. Malaysian chicks are hardcore, period!

So I guess... in that department, Malaysia memang boleh!
