Apakah?

Kalao semalam entry bergambar, ni entry tanpa gambar nak meroyan sikit. Takde la meroyan kot. Melalut adalah... matilah ko!

In the past year, I've made a lot of decisions which may have seemed drastic.

But I do not regret any of them.

Simply because they were based on logic, and the fact that nothing, and I mean nothing, threatens my family or the ones I love, my livelihood and career... and friends.

And sometimes, I have had to make the decision to omit people from my life.

Again, no regrets.

As long as aku tau aku wat yang terbaik, biarkan lah. Orang nak cakap apa pon, biarlah.

Biar mereka nanti faham bila mereka tahu akan kebenarannya.

Kalao da nama pon bangkai, akan tercium gak bau nanti - walaopon berapa liter perfume ko nak douse yourself with.

Aku tanak aibkan orang, so aku tutup mulot je.

This entry is simply a reminder for me, not to close my eyes, and blind myself in the name of friendship, to sacrifice myself and the things important to me - for the sake of ungrateful turds and shitters.

Work is good, and my family is fine, and I have friends I can always count on.

That - for me, is happiness.

I do not need artificial promises, or delusional aspirations out of the realm of logic.

And for all of you out there too. Remember this...

Apa saja masaalah kita hadapi, cerminkan diri. Maybe it's us. Whatever it is - we take the step to rectify things, not whine and blame.

Life is good. And I am thankful for everything.

Hush

Hari ni nak konsep photo entry je leh tak. Nak crop, edit, watermark bagai takes forever... so malas tulis panjang.

Ni photoshoot masa some random needless to mention event. Kita start ngan akak Sharifah Shahira aka She-Ra : Princess of Power. Heh.. tu yang aku panggil dia. Akak Shira.

She wasn't confortable in this baju, sebab baju ni penah dipakai Datuk Siti dan saiz tak kena bagai. Masa dia nak kuar photoshoot, dia nampak aku terus main cak cak.. dan cakap kuat-kuat "Happy Halloween!"! Motif? Heh... she's forever funny la. But especially so when someone has the ability to just laugh at themselves and not take themselves too seriously.

Then Vanidah Imrah. Akak Vee lak.

Doesn't she look a little Ziana Zain with the pulled back hair and all?

Ni.. Sharifah Amani kena keja kan ngan aku. Dia kan comel-comel. Aku mintak pose supermodel seksi sikit. Hasilnya?

For some reason, she looks a little Yasmin Hani here. And below, back to cutesy mode with Liyana Jasmay.

Ni Diana Danielle tengah jawab soalan pasal Farid Kamil. Merasalah!

And last but not least - our very own supermodel gituh. Nasha Aziz. Masa dia photoshoot everyone just whipped out their cameras and phone and shot her in action. I must say it's a pleasure to see her model sebab unlike many I've seen, she embodies what model is.

Setiap pergerakan kecil je, tapi impaknya pada gambar, amazing.

Ni some shots I took of her. Awesome don't you think?

Sempat lepak ngan Nasha and Tang borak as well as Vee and Shidi.

Before I got some interesting news.

Tak kuasa la aku.. ada je drama swasta. Takpe. This ends tonight. Sick and tired of drama bodoh yang tak bawak hasil pe pe pon dan setakat buang masa dan tenaga.

More esok la.. hari ni ada scheming sikit.

R&R

Malam minggu tak gi mana pon. Memula nak malaskan diri jek. Then kengkawan ajak ke majlis doa selamat kak Ziela Jalil, so why not. Kengkawan semua ada... so meriah gak la.

Sampai jek, kena snap pic dan tweet ngan si Umie laser ku lambat.

After everything was over, as usual sesi borak bagai. Tengok kak Erma layan gula-gula dia. Heh...

Didn't do much... Sunday was like that too. Cuma ada perjumpaan kengkawan ramai-ramai impromptu. Sebab kebetulan semua ada kat Shah Alam, we all went for dinner kat Les Copaque nya Geng's Corner, franchise meka off the branding off Upin & Ipin.

Food not too bad, prices decent, service ok... banyak ruang for improvement, but the place itself is ok sebab tersorok belakang Tesco Xtra kat opis Les Copaque.

Si Altimet pon join skali sebab dia in the area. He amuses me. Kalao ada dia, semua jadik gila. Heh... what you playing with between your legs, Altimet?

Dalam resah, banyak kami dapat settle. It's always good to have friends around.

For the Glamberts

So I promised you guys pics. Here it is. Took an eternity to get everything up...

But.. before anything, this is me and some friends with Adam backstage. It was funny and sort of embarrassing. Since this was my second time in a day meeting up with him, after our interview over the phone - the moment we walked into the room, Adam said, "Hi, it's you again!" and smiled.

Before I could say anything, one of my friends, screamed, ran up, hugged and kissed Adam on the cheek. I had never seen her go crazy like that before, so it was kind of shocking. Funny... but shocking. Especially when Adam went blubbering, "... no kiss... no kiss".

We talked a little and snapped a pic for memories and that was that.

By the way, if you guys are looking for the set list for the night, here it is.

In order of performance, it was Voodoo, For Your Entertainment, Down The Rabbit Hole, Ring Of Fire, Fever, Sleepwalker, Whataya Want From Me, Soaked, Broken Open, Aftermath, Surefire, Strut, Music Again and If I Had You with the encore of Mad World and 20th Century Boy.

Won't review the concert except to say the experience was one of the best I've had next to Black Eyed Peas (their Genting show not the dumb ass MTV World Stage performance) and Beyonce's tour stopover in Bangkok that I caught.

Adam was at the top of his game, and he was the consummate performer - in every aspect.

Ok.. enough yapping. Enjoy the pic, courtesy of Sony Music Malaysia.

Harassment

I nearly, very nearly had my day spoiled yesterday.

Initially, I thought nothing could go wrong. It was to be a fun day. I had the press conference with Adam Lambert, then his concert... good day, huh?

That's what I thought...

Was at the Stadium Putra by 5.15pm, way early because friends in the right places helped us get the meet and greet passes. I thought the stadium was to be empty. Oops.. silap sungguh ye, cause ramai sangat orang dah by that time.

And voila! Finally about 6pm, it was time to meet Adam.

I'll post up the picture of Adam and my friends (and also with me) soon.

Meanwhile, I noticed this as we were in the loading area. Korang ingat tak time Anugerah Juara Lagu arituh kecoh tersebar the pics from my blog pasal akak ponti kat atas bumbung kan?

Hah... sapa tak caya aku, yang Stadium Putra ni keras.. tengok ni. This was at the backstage area.

Tuh dia! Nak halau benda-benda halus katanya.

By the time I cleared the backstage area, the crowd was really getting crazy.

Spent some time amusing myself by tweeting endless mesages with the digiglambert hashtag just to watch it pop up on screens all around the venue. Coolness!

Also entertained myself with stuff like this....

Went into the stadium, got my seats in the press box. Masa tu it was like half full (or half empty, if you're a pessimist).

Then got word that the PAS demonstrators were outside. So sebab show lom start, my friends and I went out to see if there really was a commotion.

Yeap... ada... and they were handing out all these hate pamphlets. Wild, pornographic, extreme, gay, homosexual...

What the....

Are you serious? Get a life la. The concert has gotten the permission to proceed under strict conditions, why politicize the situation by using religion? I think this is where the leadership of PAS has to bitch slap these little people yang bising je lebih and end up bringing a negative view of extremism about Islam to the world.

Masa press conference, international wire services kept asking about this. And the first to jump on the demonstration - were the foreign press.

So good going, PAS. Again, you made the world think we're all in the dark ages.

The truth is, the yelping ones outside did more harm that good.

Aku bagi contoh.

This boy in his 20s, was repeating himself like orang nak beli suratkhabar lama.

"Adam Lambert is a gay! Don't let him kiss Malaysian men! Don't let him bring gay to Malaysia".

WHAT THE FUCK!

I mean, seriously????

Number one - the whole fucking world knows he's gay. So thank you for showing us you finally moved up somehow and learnt to use Google. Secondly, again, it's the perversion of thought that he would want to kiss Malaysian men. I mean... maybe Asians aren't his thing even. That's like saying a heterosexual men wants to sleep with every woman out there. Ko hengat being gay means every man is appealing? Those who were demonstrating - they were as appealing as wet, bunched up armpit hair with a rich splash of talcum to clot it all.

And bring gays to Malaysia? What is he? An import fag service?

Seriously... the PAS demonstrators are nothing but a joke - and coming up to the elections next year, these type of airheads are just stupid, judgemental, stereotyping haters.

To everyone out there, Islam IS a beautiful religion and I don't see how these people can claim to spread Islam with such venom they spew.

One classic case of what happened was a couple of tudung-ed girls were being stopped. They had spent berapa ratus Ringgit on good seats, and were being stopped and lectured.

And in the end, after the girls kept getting stopped, they just ran for their lives into the stadium.

Tu satu hal.. non-Muslims were harassed - by their presence, by their hate literature and by their general disrespect that we are living in a democratic society governed by laws.

Gi je la konsert Maher Zain. Ni pon aku tengok orang PAS dok luar tu dari Maghrib ke Isyak... I'm wondering if they neglected, in all their piety, their religious duties. Lom agik soal anak bini kat umah...

In the end.. this was what we saw...

They should have campaigned for an anti-littering stance instead. Their literature was all over - the floor.

And instead... the party kept growing to some 15,000 people inside.

It was wild - and it was fun. but no, there was no kissing. There was no horrible moral decay - not anymore than your average Jom Heboh. So there.

PS - More pics and all in the next entry.
