Yes, a big thank you is in order.

Hari ni we had a celebrity rehearsal session for our friends and supporters of the Beyonce flashmob project.

Antara yang join, Atilia, Yasmin Hani, Daphne Iking, Siti Saerah and Nikki. Thank you so much ladies. Sayang si Sazzy Falak tak dapat join cause she had her shoot for Galaksi which ended late. Apart from that Aishah Sinclair, Dynas Mokhtar and Ning Baizura pun masing masing couldn't make it last minute sebab their own commitments. Takpe... nanti mai ek minggu depan.

The preview

First of all, kalao ada yang bosan cita Beyonce nya konsert akan datang... tough luck. Heh!

Da nama pon blog aku, so I highlight stuff I do, and so on, and undoubtedly, Beyonce's concert ni memang the concert of the year.

For the next few weeks, benda lain ada aku kisah? Memang pudar la sinar pada apa saja yang kuar skang, biar filem ke lagu ke apa pon.

I'm sorry, but Beyonce's the real deal here. And finally she's here. And plus, I get to see her live again for the second time. Yeay! Kira aku tak penah la miss tour dia.

Yang pentingnya, ada kengkawan tolong usahakan pas berkali kata tak dapek nolong, finally malam tadi kata dia akan pastikan, aku dapat jumpa Beyonce. Yeay! Mintak mintak la menjadi.

Anyway, earlier this evening aku da awal awal pacak kat Zouk.

The Beyonce Pre Party lah, apa lagik. The event by invite, so dalam 1,000 orang je. Memula tu ada la hiccups sikit sana sini, tapi sebab kita seb baik awal awal da kat sana, dapat la iron out whatever thorny issues.

Thanks so much to all the parties involved, from Marctensia - the concert organisers, to Hotlink - the sponsors as well as Nasty, the event organisers. Not to mention the great people at Zouk yang made our stay there so fun.

Tapi yang penting nya, aku nak ucap tima kasih (macam sesi anugerah lak) to my J² team - which includes all the dance crews yang make up my agents for the dance mob.

Tadi kita wat preview for the mob we're organizing for the concert. Berdebar gak resepsi orang camna. But after we were done, damn, was I relieved. So many people came up to me and said what a great thing we were doing.

Ramai impressed sangat. Syukur. So if you guys yang going for Beyonce's concert (and there's a lot of you out there sebab tiket pon dengar da nearly sold out), tunggu apa lagi. Learn the moves now from the video we uploaded.

Seventh heaven

Today is the BEST day I've had in a long time.

Walaopon kelam kabut rushing here and there to settle stuff, it was great as everything went as I hoped for.

Started the day with good news. Bayaran projek lepas da dapat! Tengok angka tersenyum sendiri. Syukur! Good start for J Squared. Dengan projek berderet lagik coming up, memang aku gembira, berkat doa ibubapa aku, leh gak aku be part of something yang bertahun aku idamkan kejayaan camni - yang only now I finally see the fruits of my efforts.

Of course bab payment pon bagus wat all my kids - sebab bayaran meka pon nak kuar la alamatnya. Semangat!

If that wasn't enough - dapat discuss projek lagik satu in the works. Syukur!!!!!!

Was smiling to the max. Even masa dari Bangsar nak ke office kat PJ jam sangkut sejam sebab ingat nak cepat cilok masuk jalan melalui Universiti Malaya - tapi instead caught in a campus flash flood - senyum je. Tak rasa pon masa berlalu.

Pastu lak gi rehearsal. After a good night's rest, everyone was in a happy mood, and we had a DAMN AWESOME rehearsal night with the selected top 50, who will preview our dance mob in Zouk tomorrow night for the by invite only Beyonce preparty.

No drama, no friction... instead semua gelak ketawa because so many things happened yang gave us more reason to smile.

Drama!

Hari ni memang didn't go too well. Busy as crap, pastuh dalam aku ingat aku leh deal, hell broke loose.

Biasalah, semua da letih, stressed, nervous... it was bound to happen.

Malas nak cita what went on kat rehearsal, tapi biasalah, bila da lebih seratus orang in and out of auditions and rehearsals, it only takes a spark to get a raging fire going.

Tambah lagik, memasing jiwa kreatif - so cepat terasa, dan antara ramai yang bagus tuh lak - ada yang perasan diri meka bagus sampai nak buat perkara yang memalukan orang lain.

To cut a long story short, I wasn't upset that the episode happened among some of the kids.

I brought everyone together for a reason. Not to make money (bab tuh bonus, tapi sekali kongsi rezeki ngan semua). But the real reason is unite the dance community.

And so far memang ok. Tapi bila ada sorang yang perasan hebat je wat perangai, ni lah akibatnya. Aduh... aku terasa gila sebab my intentions cam hancur sebab seorang nya prangai yang tak reti hormat orang lain.

However, I can see everyone's tired. I tried to pull it all together.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

To all my dance family - you guys are all the best. Unite, and have respect and love for each other, no matter how different you are - and let's show everyone we blur all the lines that separate us - if only out of our love for dance.

Aku lom post any pics of how auditions and rehearsals of the mob we're putting together for the Beyonce concert, so here are a few of the hardworking hundred plus earlier today who rehearsed their asses off.

Yes, these are some of our agents. Different ages, backgrounds, races, orientation etc. Very 1Malaysia!

Some are not professional dancers, some are the best in the country from the most awesome dance crews and some just came to have fun to try to audition, and some just came to rehearse with us.

Honestly these past few days have a lot of drama to deal with, but these guys and gals are the best. Lupa segala tiap kali berkumpul nak berlatih. Almost makes me forget how nervous I am because after the KLCC flashmob, I know a lot of people looking at how this one will go since it's bigger than the last.

But I guess, right now, at this moment, the only thing I'm really stressed is how my hair looks. Belakang pink patch tuh disturbing gila! See my last entry if you're wondering why I coloured my hair like this - sebab memang not out of choice.

Paddle pop

My hair is now no longer platinum white.

It's now freaking platinum white with pink and freaking purple highlights. And yes, I look like a damn icecream.

Tapi bukan pilihan aku ye.... rambut aku ni jadik mangsa.

Had a crazy day today. Started with the Sehati Berdansa event. Not even going to go there....

Had a good lunch in Pandan Indah though... if not for a disturbing look at this menu. Ni mesti tokei dari Pantai Timur.

Pas abih, rush gi wat editing.After four hours,got the instructional video for the dance flashmob done! Happy gila.

After we were done, headed ke Finas for the recording of a new game show called Mandi. Hos rancangan tuh, abang Din Beramboi. Amik ko.

This was my pic with Ainul yang dah siap rakaman episod dia sebelom aku on. When my hair was still a slightly more normal platinum.




I can't say much about the show. Korang kena tengok sendiri to get an idea of how it's like. Let me just say that there was A LOT of water, and a lot of other gross stuff.

Pendek kata, dalam bebanyak gross things yang kena campak ngan aku (selain dari being showered with ice cold water and dunked into some over chlorinated water) I had this serbuk kunyit ke apa yang warna purple and pink thrown and smacked on me.

Pastu kaler dia melekat. Rasa nak nangis walaopon gang aku si abang Bad, Muzaffar dan Juan asik gelakkan aku. Damn! Esok kena pikir nak wat apa ngan rambut aku nak selamatkan myself from looking like a walking candy cane gone wrong.

But the program was major fun. So sapa nak tengok aku kena dera - tengoklah Mandi kang.

Aku ngantuk gila nih. Got a full day tomorrow. Kena gi bank, office, and then nak rush to get some work done before meeting some of my clients.

And all before noon!

Flashmob auditions begin at 4pm until VERY late so that's going to be VERY tiring.

Had a good day overall and accomplished much. So puas hati. Now to catch a few hours sleep before all hell breaks loose.

Glee

Damn you, Amir!

Not only am I hooked on America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, Models Of The Runway AND Heroes (thank God again Weeds is not coming back in the extremely near future), now thanks to Amir's insistent mention that day - now I'm freaking stuck on Glee.



Being busy and all today with the video shoot for the instructional video for the dance mob, I was going to get some sleep when I got back by 11pm.

Unfortunately, despite knowing I have a packed Sunday (event, editing and a TV game show I have to be on) all the way sampai tengah malam, I made the mistake of watching the pilot I downloaded.

Needless to say, I got stuck on the show - as with every show I sit down to watch. And did a damn marathon of six episodes to immediately catch up. Cam kesial...

Now need some sleep... seriously... long entry tomorrow.Wait for it.

Snip snip

More choreography sessions into the middle of the night... pening.

Tapi at least siang tadi best. In the evening went for the launch of A Cut Above at BSC. They launched their biggest outlet yang one stop beauty center, which is like major celeb-junkie rehab plot sebab kalao korang nak sangat tengok artis - gi wat rambut sana, mesti dapat tengok muka muka familiar.

The launch was uber fun cause so many friends there.

Tapi dapat la reconnect ngan yang lama tak jumpa. Ning was there, so caught up a bit. Nikki wat show, and she's improved on her vocals and her performance.

Sesi borak ngan Hani, Atilia dan Noryn yang ketiga-tiganya ting tong.

And the best thing is - all the ladies are headed for the Beyonce concert too, so yes, they are going to be part of the flashmob as well. Yes!! Meka akan join our training session sebab they don't have the time or will gituh nak practise with the instrutional video kang.

Atilia siap kata hyped on All The Single Ladies, merasalah down bila aku kata we changed our performance tune. Heh.... korang layan pics dulu ek.

Bootylicious!

Whoa! Today set a record! I have never sent out so many emails in a short period of time. And I don't mean like mass emails. I mean lik replying back and forth.

Ada krisis sikit, so I actually had my email on standby for six hours - until contingency plans came through and approved. Sakit siot nak wat event besar besaran. Aku pon masih belajar, so really had to pick up fast between endless emails and phone calls.

I thank my team for their dedication and time, as well as their patience and understanding.

So now, for the flashmob you've been hearing so much about (which you'll hear more about over TV and radio in a week) - let me introduce you two members of my team. The head choreographers - Boojae from Floor Fever - the baddass band of bboys yang memang perform everywhere (Boojae himself has served as judge for quite a few local dance events) and Boboy formerly from Glitters Dot Com (he is also the one I commissioned to choreograph for Nikki's Pop Rock semifinal for Caramu and Ning, Nikki and Yanie's Drama).

Welcome!

Started the morning by going for a meeting at AMP Radio Networks.

Walaopon badan letih-letih, but it was ok as the day went on. Smalam serious rasa lain macam. But masuk hari ni, whatever weird feeling da ilang.

Abih je meeting, had to sift through paperwork. Sorting out schedules, contracts and invoices. Aiyo... can't wait for the day I can afford to hire people nak wat semua keja keja cam nih. Seriously, this takes up so much time that there is nothing left for you to do at the end of the day.

Abih everything by late evening, and rushed over to choreographers session. The kids amazingly had worked everything out, so I can heave a sigh of relief there.

Esok ada Raya open house kementerian sikit, and then nak abihkan banyak keja office.

Wednesday, return balik to sessions for rehearsal for the flashmob. So much to do still.
Esok aku janji entry panjang sikit.

For now nak tidur... I need to recuperate. Smalam got eight hours sleep, but body still feeling weak.

Bengkak!

Sapa yang tengah makan, please do not read this, as I am going to be extremely graphicly GROSS.

If you're reading this, then either you have a high tolerance level and an amazing gag reflex, atau ko memang nak cari nahas! Heh!

Had two open houses, and the Cuci thing going on at Subang Parade, as well as a choreography meeting.

Tapi sejak balik dari Pelita kol 3 pagi smalam, memang tak sedap badan.

Hasilnya... diarrhea. Yang teramat teruk ye. Dalam eight hours or so, I went to the toilet no less than a dozen times. Camna nak tidur? Serious ngantuk satu hal...

Both my internal and external anal sphincter are bruised and battered after a day long battle. And cirit bukan sebarangan cirit ok. Yang jenis keluar nothing but air. Eewwww!!! (kan aku da warning I'm going to be gross)

So ladies, yes, the whole issue with toilet seats and men, I wholly understand, cause I've been literally peeing through my ass the whole freaking day.

Dapat gak rasa 'kencing' duduk.

Aduh., ke sana lak aku. Sebenarnya stress sebab semakin sibuk. Can't afford to get messed up for the next couple of weeks. Lain la kalao aku ada dependable people to fall back on. Kalao semua kena oversee.. aduh.

So anyway sebab tak larat badan aku, tengahari tadik tak jadi gi open house Kichi, as well as event Cuci.

Zoomed to Bukit Kiara for the choreographers meeting, and was glad things worked out despite a few kinks with timing issues I had to face. That's really starting to irritate me... oh well.

After da abih lari ke rumah terbuka sultanmuzaffar. Thanks for the invite nonok. Mentang-mentang kita tak influential ke popular kan... matilah! Janji Bali dan Shibuya. Hado?!

Merasalah membebel meroyan. Amponkan. Orang tengah sakit.

Hopefully esok back to normal da. Start off early morning with a meeting lagi. Aduh.. merasalah minggu ni endless meetings and paperwork.

Kena pasang lagu Donna Summer - She Works Hard For Her Money. Damn... oh well. Things will only get better and bigger. Lagi banyak tanggungjawab camni la. Kang kalao dok je harapkan orang spedo lain lak.

Argh... ok... off to bed. Nanti je aku update lebih.

Happy birthday Vee

Can you believe it. At this hour, I am in my second meeting and pas nih one more to go before I call it a day.

In between sempat selit nak gi usha rehearsal Cuci The Musical. Merasalah. Damn, I am so tired. Tapi sebab hidup aku takde orang sponsor, kena lah usaha carik makan sendiri. Hah! Actually, bukan sebab cari makan... sometimes it's not only about the money...

Anyways, am so happy today.

Anyway, today's meetings was to finalise the details for flash mob project. Not just any flash mob. We're aiming for THE BIGGEST flash mob in the country.

Yes, if you will be in Kuala Lumpur at the end of October, you HAVE to be in on it.

Especially if you are going for the CONCERT OF THE YEAR!
