Wow! Found out today something weird. Ko ingat tak aku cakap pasal oramng berkumpul masa kat Sungai Wang tu? Turns out ada orang terbunuh siot. Tak perasan lak! Came out in the papers today that this woman was on the handphone while sitting on the railings (stupid!) and then started kicking about (mega stupid!) before she tumbled down six floors to the concourse stage below (ouch!)
I mean seriously... guys, don't ever sit on railings. I thought that should be common sense.Or are we looking at an episode of Final Destination here that it's so unavoidable...erm... entahlah. Whatever it is, hope the woman's in a better place now - with no railings to be sitting on and waving her feet about.
Anyway, nak sambung share pasal yesterday, Ni ada satu pic aku lupa post.
Now only is that a ...erm... unique display, tapi perasan tak the t shirt on the right tu. Have one in English - this one apparently is translated from that.
Not too cool sounding but ok ler. Heh... now it would make more sense if they made the t shirt in large sizes so that the message can get across. Heh... bodoh tul.
So.. what did I get from Sungai Wang yesterday? Here it is. Yeap... a doll! But not just any doll.
Meet Fiona Fatale! A Begoth! An a worthy addition to my office desk!
Ceria sikit hari aku! Heh!!!
Cool eh? This is the kind of doll for my table for real. A Begoth. Kalao korang nak tau lebih pasal these gothic dolls, CLICK HERE! Aku penah nampak these dolls about a year ago. But they cost over a hundred Ringgit. Ni aku beli tuk RM30 jer, ut as you can see minus the boots, the garter, and the hand socks. Takpe. Aku check website kat Internet pun da sold out da model aku.
Sesuai ngan aku. In fact, Fiona has the same number of piercings I do, with three on on side, and one on the other. Sama, cuma different sides. She also has a tatooed head. Ok, she won on that one, but she is so cool! Siap black nail polish and all.
Eh...ok lar...hari ini memang posting pendek sebab banyak keja nak finish up before.... nanti aku cita.
Ok, so I have massive Monday blues! Mana taknya...walaupun tak perlu, aku singgah gak opis tadik. Like hello....the office was like a morgue. Well not really, cause the office is never like a morgue (unless you discount the 'things' that roam at night - yes, I swear, my office is haunted - but that's another story).
So petang, ajak Halim, and we went gallivanting around town. Ingat jalan kosong sikit. Well, it was a little bit clearer... but not that much. Cipet tol la!!! Takde kampung nak balik kah! Frust! Thought leh mengular satu KL tanpa risau jam da. Cait... turns out an empty city exists only in the past skang.
Remember when zaman dulu kalau time cuti camni, kosong satu bandar.
Darn....oh well. At least it wasn't HORRENDOUSLY bad as usual, tapi by this weekend, kiss goodby to that sebab da kembali to the normal hellhole we're more accustomed to lah.
Berangan gak and all nak ke Pavilion jenguk tengok and all, but malas lah. Especially since most of the outlets tak bukak lagik, there was no decent eatery with sidewalk cafe qualities which didn't discriminate against smokers and the fact that I really didn't feel in the mood for proper shopping - so better to stay away.
So in the end, headed for my FAVOURITE outlet nak grab a bite for their big portions, tasty dishes and good prices, where it's air-conditioned - even in the smoking area, there's MTV and music piped in with tons of reading material - and of course free wifi. Where else but izzi kat Jalan Bukit Bintang (cam promo kan?... nope, I don't get paid for it unfortunately.
Decided to gorge a little - so a light snack turned into a Milano pizza. Halim and I masing-masing whipped out our laptops and fired them up.
Stayed dari about 5pm to about 8-ish before we decided to go Sungai Wang nak jenjelan. No specific reason, just wanted to check out what stuff ada since da lama tak usha.
One of the destinations was the specialty toy shops, the comic stores and kedai-kedai yang seaktu dengannya. Holy smokes, Batman! Seriously, toy collecting has gotten crazy! Take for example the first generation Optimus Prime yang aku suka gila. Gawd! Didn't want to ask how much that cost, because the last time I saw one, it was RM450. This from the original price yang dulu tak silap aku RM60 lebih je.
If it's not enough aku lum collect the old stuff (we call them vintage these days), there was all this new references to the classic, like this die cast generation one Soundwave. The ironic part is aku penah posting pasal benda ni before Transformer the movie opened up, cause I found one in Toys R Us, tapi tak sempat beli sebab ingat takde orang nak da out of stock. And this shop in Sungai Wang was selling it... for RM189!!! Masa beberapa bulan lalu baru RM59.90 tak silap aku.
Kimek!!!
Siot jer. Tension bijik! Damn collectors! They're spoiling the toy market. Lum get the old stuff, ni ada benda baru lak kuar.
Check it out! Cam kesial! My fave is of course, Soundwave, tetiba ada audio player!!! Siap leh transform! And earphones dia, Frenzy and Rumble! Aduh....takut nak tengok harga. Tunggu bonus bulan depan, tu definitely in my shopping list (kecuali kalao ada any kind hearted souls out there nak give me an early Christmas present.
Anyway... bought something, posting esok je aku tunjuk. Apapun, left Sungai Wang and perasan there was this massive attention focused on the centre counrt area. Didn't bother sebab ingat ada concert ke persembahan. Usually they have Chinese artists performing there.
Headed back sebab started raining... alamak... got back, showered and all, time to hit the sack now. More tomorrow...
Semalam baik sekali nih. Tak kuar memana. Actually haven't really been going out pun for the few days. Tapi early afternoon gituh, drove up to the Bangsar house.
My parents had left earlier from our home there sebab we were to have lunch together memandangkan kakak aku punya 4WD kena smack from the back. Strangely enough, you'd think bak keta besar gedabak camtuh selamat, and then POW! you get smacked behind by another 4WD.
Heh...that's almost a metaphor for life.
So after lunch, hung about and raided my sister's 'library' and pulled out more books to read to pass time nak tunggu kawan dia kuar sekali nak go out shopping.
Ransacked, and found four books to add to my reading list. Remember I was reading this chick-lit (more like bimbo lit) book called Undead and Unpopular by Mary Janice Davidson? Amik ko... like the 'shopaholic' books which I love so much (it's so me!), here's the remaining titles in the series, Undead and Unemplyed, Undead and Unappreciated, Undead and Unreturnable and Undead and Unpopular.
Not exactly brain surgery manuals, but me likey!
Read halfway through one, when fell asleep in my room sebab masa tuh memang ujan cam kiamat gituh in Bangsar. My sister woke me up to tell me her friend dah sampai, and we went traipsing about for lots of shopping. Start kul 2pm, kawan dia buggered off for an appointment at about 5-ish, and we continued on another round before ending at about 9pm. Psycho....
The shop kat atas in that pic must be the most colourful I've seen in a very long time! Apapun, da pusing sana sini, at last we head home. Managed to check our acquisitions for the day (three pairs of jeans - one Levis and a denim jacket, Nautica), before aku ciao dari sana to join Vern, Audi and Nikki who were heading to Aidit Alfian's place in Ampang nak beraya. We were joined by Vern's friend, Andrew.
The food was delicious, though I have to admit I hogged my favourite which was the rendang. Aidit and his wife Zaza were the perfect hosts as we gorged ourselves.
As usual when two producers get together, Audi and Aidit had their little moments of disappearing in their own world lah.
Which was fine by us. Erm, Aidit's pic is a little blurred because he was practically bouncing off the walls. Heh! Anyway, their house was fab, very the early 80s architecture, reminded me of my old family house I grew up in.
Anyhoo, we polised off most of the food, I even had seconds! Notice the dishs on the table look quite empty by the time were were done with it.
Being a glutton, I had to punish myself my already swollen tummy with pineapple tarts lagik. Aduh...time for a smoke. Tapi yang best thing about open house Aidit ni, kat luar where the 'menfolk' were gathered, siap ada jamming session. Throw in three guitars, two producers and one singer (Andy dari Flop Poppy pun ada masa kita sampai) and what do you get?
Impromptu jamming session lah. But anyway, I would have taken a video of them performing but stupidly for once didn't haul my laptop along. Didn't bother with doing it with my phone for the dodgy quality.
But there was one song Aidit and Andy did together which was awesome. First time I'd heard it, though my ex loves him. The guy's name is Damien Rice, and the song I heard and immediately fell in love with is called Cannonball. Kalao korang nak layan, take a listen at the youtube bit I found of his quite strange video.
Cool song abih! And the lyrics memang moving gila. Trauma queen punya choice of songs la. Anyway, bumped the ciggy, and went back in the house, and there was Nikki, playing with anak Aidit dan Zaza punya dollhouse.
Yes, the girl still loves dolls, which I didn't find anything wrong with, unlike her manager yang dok teasing dia.
I know I'm in my second childhood because I'm buying toys too like my old MASK action figures from the 80s and all, but that's because our parents couldn't give us everything we wanted as kids, and now that we earn our own living, it's not too late to relive memories we wanted to have as part of our childhood kan?
Heh...merasalah profound. NOT!
Anyhoo, headed back after we spent a couple of hours there. Headed home, aku stayed up a while to read, but because itw as raining, and it was nice and cold, and I've finished updating, think I'll turn in for the night.
Apapun, before I end this entry, wanted to share these pics I took masa on the Federal Highway heading back to the Bangsar home. I think it was taken malam Raya (my time line is so warped) There was this car, a classic Mini (a Clubman?) in front of me on the Federal Highway. Aku siap terkejut tengok.. because it was seriously decked out to celebrate Hari Raya! Not only was the car green and yellow (which would already be a major no no), there were lights (I think ada lampu lip lap skali kat dalam keta dia!)
But to make matters weirder... there were LIGHTED KETUPATS hanging in the read, and front windscreen!!!! Yes... plastic, hanging ketupats... lighted!
Aku siap amik all angles, kejau ni nak amik pic.
Luckily he took the Bangsar exit as well, so I got these pics. Heh...sorry pada tuan punya keta, but at least a few more people have gotten to enjoy the erm..'beauty' of your festive decor.
Do you see what I saw??? Erm... apapun, kalau mamat nih punya keta camni, his house is one place I don't want to beraya without sunglasses!
Sebenarnya the whole day seribu satu planning nak ke sana nak ke sini, nak menyambut Syawal gituh ngan kengkawan, but malas teramat! In the end, met up with Vern, Nikki dan Audi untuk meredah hutan belantara (matilah aku kena carut pasnih) untuk ke Semenyih untuk melawat Rudy nak makan his mom's and sisters' cooking. Yummy!
We went in one car, and spent hours (ok, so maybe just over an hour - I'm exagerrating, but Rudy said it would take only 15 minutes!) to get there. I swear, you feel like dah sampai Bukit Kayu Hitam siot!
Stared out of the window and saw views like this. Are we even in the same state???
Ampun yer sesapa dok kat Semenyih! Heh... Audi kept the useless trivia going by telling us that Semenyih was enjoying a growth rate of 22% (or something, I wasn't willfully listening), how it's population has grown to 450,000 and how a RM1.5 controversial incinerator project was being built. More torture for the already taxing journey.
We passed no less than four cemeteries (three Muslim, one Christian), no less than four mosques, two suraus, two temples, and lots of hypermarkets, malls and supermarkets (Tesco, Giant, Econsave and Jusco - just missing a Carrefour to complete the list), which led me to assume people in Semenyih are deeply religious, shop a lot (my kind of folks) and then drop dead in huge numbers (er...not meant to be offensive...ampun!!!)
Lots of directions, numerous phone calls and several u-turns later, we reach Rudy's place.
Ok, wrong house again. This one was across the road from Rudy's place, yang ala set cita hantu lak. Creepy!!!
Anyway, we had our fill, couple of laughs (thanks to Omar - when him and Ning joined up as we were halfway stuffing ourselves). Thanks so much Rudy for.. erm.. a very memorable meal (merasalah kuih simen!)
Apapun, memang meriah la kat rumah dia, rindu lak nak balik kampung ke rumah kuarga angkat camnih. Hish... aduh....
Ni one for the album of Rudy dan family together with Ning and Chris.
The rest of us were doing the following activities - Vern taking the pic, me taking a pic of Vern taking the pic, while Nikki and Audi were gawking at the jambu air growing right in front of his house (weirdos!) We then made our way back to civilsation.
It crapped out n us midway, pouring cats and dogs. Check this out.
Yes, isn't that a lovely seafood restaurant? Unique Fisherman katanya. No, this isn't a seaside eatery. Notice the car? This was located along Jalan Cheras, which was freaking flooded!!!
Cruelly laughed at rempits in baju Raya weaving in and out of traffic and getting wet (hate rempits) as we made our way at a snail's pace nak ke rumah Ning lak nak beraya ngan her mom, Auntie Stella.
Finally got there, eons later where we had lovely vegetarian Raya fare. It was very different. Spent quite some time playing with Teddy, si Ning punya pet cat, which bears a striking resembilance to Garfield (if it fell into a vat of orange paint). Teddy's favourite hobby? Jumping into paper bags and curling up in them? Erm... tapi siap pilih ok. Nak yang kelas je.... Zara! Leh?
Headed home past 8, tak tahan, tapi fiddled a bit online before crashing. Ngantuk siot. Beberapa hari ni, bagus tol. Tidur awal jerk. Heh... cam tak caya pun ada.
Esok takde planning sangat. Nak ke rumah kakak bersama with my parents nak lunch kat sana, pastuh mungkin merambu ramba gituh, gi jenjalan area KL.,
Bukan tanak visit rumah orang, tapi tengok angin. Kalau ujan cam semalam, prefer to be curled up in my room, all comfy, layan online. Heh...ok ler. Until the next entry.
Again, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all. Huggies!!!
First of all, to all my muslim friends, and family - sebab esok dah nak Raya, aku wish awal awal dulu, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Hope you guys have a happy, and safe celebration. Yang bak keta balik kampung tuh, bak elok elok, don't rush. I want you guys back in one piece ok.
To my Boo, wish I was there with you, have this time to celebrate with your family, and count the blessings you have in your life ok. I'm there for you...
To all my lovely readers yang sambut Aidilfitri, you guys remember me ok tengah sambut tuh. Kalau ada yang nak jemput ke rumah terbuka tu ke, nak bagi duit Raya ke, aku tanpa segan silu menerima saja. Leh? Heh!
Have a good one, and pada yang dicarut, tercarut, dan mencarut, mari kita saling bermaafan ek. Hidup tanpa carut, ibarat masakan tanpa garam (how about MSG free food ek?)
Apapun, love you guys to bits, and I wish you all - Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Hugs to all of you!!!Anyhoo... ni recycle video I put up a few days ago with Raya wishes from the Akademi Fantasia family, and I... apapun, watch it if you guys haven't and make your day.
Now on to the regular entry...finally last night got to see Hairspray! Supposed to watch is day before yesterday ngan Boo before some complications cropped up (nanti kita tengok sekali Boo when you get back). After work, met Vern for dinner kat MidValley, bumped into Rudy there, and we traipsed off to watch the campy musical.
Not after window shopping though. Jalan jalan, looking around, didn't buy anything pun, just nak pass time.
Went into Speedy or some music outlet near the cinema, which has a pathetic local music section (only one f**king rack!!!), when I spotted this among the displayed CDs.
I swear I didn't touch the CDs, tapi kebetulan, album Nikki dan album Best Of... Ebi tu side by side. Good karma or whatever you call it?
An omen? Erm... anyway, nanti aku review pasal Hairspray even though it's been out ages dah, but first, on to the weekly dose of... Heroes!
Here's my review of Heroes, Chapter Three - Kindred, that I've been meaning to put out but tak sempat. This week punya, simple, but it's laying the foundation for more questions. Obviously just like season one, the first dozen episodes are going to be quite messy with a lot of 'what ifs' happening about, and will only be answered after Christmas break over there.
Still, besh gila sebab banyak gak tunjuk bab power kali ni.
So for those who haven't caught it, let's catch up. And for those who have, here are my rantings and analysis.
Peter is still trying to work out who he is, while coming across a future double cross as a pawn in the plans of Ricky's gang to rob an armoured car, which they need him because of his powers. Peter meanwhile has no ideas how he controls his powers but manages to use it in time to help with the raid.
His power comes into more use when he does a Sylar with the traitor Will who double crosses their heist, and being shot doesn't change anything. Cool effect on the pushing out of the bullet and healing wound!
The payback? Getting a family crest of Ricky's kin being tatooed on his wrist which disappears in a while and changes into the Godsend helix, before it disappears totally. He gets the box with his link to the past but decides not to open it being intoxicated by his new love in Caitlin.
Maya and Alejandro are still on the run, and Alejandro the idiot is caught by a policeman while tring to jack a car to make their journey faster. Maya tries to bail Alejandro out and when that doesn't work, she throws her black-eyed powers to use.
At least we learn that she doesn't have to come in contact with people in the immediate vicinity for it to take effect as the guy in the next cell to Alejandro too bleeds out gunk showing that they can survive if Aleandro comes into contact with her and does his thing.
They escape, with the cell mate providing the getaway car.
They finally show Niki and Micah in Las Vegas. And surprise, surprise, DL Hawkins is dead.Kesian mamat tuh kena kill off the show sampai tak deserve a last appearance. Daniel Lawrence Hawkins - Husband, Father, Hero. Wowie..!!!
But 1976-2007? That puts him at 31! Shit! Same age ngan aku siot.
The indignity of having your character axed!
Niki leaves Micah in the hands of her in-laws, or so we suppose who the new character of 'Nana' played by Nichelle Nichols in New Orleans. DL's mom? Perhaps...Trivia! The actress played Uhura in the original Star Trek. remember? Anyhoo, wonder what her power is... bet grandma has a real funky one!
Yes, Captain Kirk? Grandma's back on TV!
Anyway, I think Niki has the virus, or maybe she just wants to get rid of her powers because she goes to the Company to get a 'cure'. Bob, the new character agrees on condition that she does something for the company.
He's ba-ack!!!
Sylar is back! So is Candice, the shapeshifter illusionist who now goes by the name of Michelle, who apparently was the one who rescued him. Sylar is all stitched up after eight operations, but still a nasty little f**k.
He busts Candice up when he discovers he's lost all his powers and cuts her up to restore his lost powers with hers.
Which is fine because Candice Wilmer is no longer played by Missy Peregrym as in the first season which we saw. So bye bye...
With a body like that - she needed the powers more than Sylar.
We finally got to see Candice's real fat ass look without the illusions - which is a throwback to what she told Micah in season one when she was playing his captor. Remember when she was stuffing herself and Micah questioned how she didn't gain weight?
By the way - rumours are Sylar is actually in a mind-trap thing. I doubt he's going to be in the middle of a Survivor meets lost jungle kan?
Besides, Candice wouldn't just be that easily outwitted kan?
Claire is coming to terms with Noah's request and also trying to throw West off the scent of her powers West meanwhile plays Clark Kent turned Superman when he takes Claire on a trip to the big blue skies to show off his boy wonder powers of flight.
He's a good one at picking up chicks - and flying them about. So Smallville...
Soap opera twist, West has been tagged by Noah before. Bet West turns evil or something since he's got this obsession with his and Claire's powers, almost like Sylar, though his is leaning more to curiosity.
Mohinder is back in his apartment in Brooklyn and Matt play My Two Dads to Molly.
Domestic dispute! They make a queer couple.
He moves into Isaac Mendez's loft which is taken overby the Company to run his experiments and such.
Mohinder continues looking for the remainder of the eight paintaings.
It begins with Kaito's death as the first Noah has. He discovers the eighth, which is of Noah having his specs busted and dead, with blood spattered all over while Claire is making out, with whom I believe is West.
The eighth of eight, and only second in the series to be discovered.More shocking is the choice of shirt Noah appears to be wearing.
Don't worry... doubt the painting will be realised just like the bomb one.
Ando has an office now???It used to be a cubicle, with Hiro. Dia naik pangkat ke apa? Ando fiddles with the Kensei sword and sees an inscription. from it, left by Hiro in the past. It's the book reading club for Ando as he finds out what's going on in the past.
Masi Oka belies his American accent when he was b***hing and goes "Kensei, you have to stop walking away from your destiny."
Erm..someone take care of continuity here please.
Anyway, Kensei is forced on his mission to get the scroll and then gets the girl, kind of, to the horror of Hiro who's lusting after the swordsmith's daughter.
So despite helping out Kensei realise himself of the hero potential, done, Hiro decides to stay on still. Until when, who knows.
Question - is Kensei alive? After all, he can't die like Claire. So can they live forever or do they age? While that thought was playing in my mind about Claire before this in season one, when she survived accidental death and woke up in the morgue, spoilers have it that Kensei will be going to the future - 400 years later, not by Hiro means of blinking himself into it, but by LIVING until then.
Eh ok lar...panjang siot! Apapun, it was still agood episode. Can't wait for next week.
Actually had this news a couple of days now, tapi semalam baru dapat confirmation bebetul yang jadik. Which until I got it tak berani nak cakap takut jinx lak tak jadik kang.
Actually yesterday has two good news lar.
The first was the confirmation that...
I will be watching Miss Beyonce Knowles in concert in Bangkok! Happy gila! Was hoping gi Jakarta, tapi confirm ke Bangkok so ok jer lah. I'll be travelling alone, which is no big deal sebab da biasa pun ke sana sini sorang, takde ler scary Mary sangat.
Skang tunggu confirmation kalao jadik ke tak press conference ke interview ngan Beyonce. But whatever it is, memandangkan she can't even step in the country, at least watching her in concert LIVE is going to be really big for me.
The other piece of FABULOUS news I received belum confirm lagi details, but it's apparently on, so aku berani cakap.
Which is, I will be interviewing Kylie Minogue on the latest release of her new album X soon. Ni pun baru dengar the new single, 2 Hearts.
The 2 Hearts single artwork
The newest album to be released by Kylie simply titled X
The recording company is apparently going to fly us to a destination yet unknown, and we're going to go face to face with the Diva from Oz.
This is my second meeting with her sebab dulu penah jumpa dia masa ke London for her exclusive one night only Money Can't Buy show masa launching Body Language punya album.
Masa tuh, bukan je aku first time in London, but it was amazing that I was one of the 4,000 people on invite masuk the Hammersmith Apollo on November 15 2003 to get to see her show where no tickets were put on sale.
If you've seen the live concert recording, you'll agree the million pound concert was AMAZING! Anyway, looking forward to that.
Ada yang tanya, aku layan ke Black Eyed Peas kat Genting kang. Erm... truth is, not really bothered sebab penah tengok meka live da. Nothing great. But kalau masa mengizinkan, maybe. The only reason I would want to catch them live is to meet Fergie. Heh!!!
Smalam buka puasa kat Ayurthya in Damansara. Feeling Thai jap before I head to Bangkok to get in the mood. Gituh!!
At least the interior decor and the food was nice. Bukan cam pagi sebelum tu bersahur ngan Boo dan kawan dia kat Shah Alam. I swear this is the menu for the restaurant.Amik ko!
Siap ada editorial lagik.
Mee Sup - MSG ZERO dalam sup... jadi... tidak menghauskan dan tak payah bimbang gugur rambut lah!
Katanya!!!
And I swear, on random items on the menu, they had all sorts of commentary on the food and drinks, which was actually quite disturbing because you'd think they'd spend more time getting the taste of the food right more than anything else.
Start hari ni bosan sikit kot sebab Boo da balik kampung, so I'm left here all on my own *cue music from Celine Dion - All By Myself*. Tapi I guess I get to have some alone time seeing that we had a serious talk last night.
Relationships are such a mystery, so we'll just see how things go. I don't know. Maybe I'm just a hardened old b***h right now and am so cynical of things that I really can make it on my own.
Still, Boo... when you read this, know that I am trying ok.
Hugs to you, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, and Maaf Zahir Batin.
Pada sapa yang jemput rumah terbuka, silakan. Right now takde plan. Maybe first Raya gerak ke Melaka ziarah kubur an old friend, and then drop by lawat adik angkat. Kalau takde aral melintang, singgah Kulai lawat beraya rumah dak botak.
Nak ke rumah kuarga angkat kat Parit Buntar malas lak.
Still, we'll see how things go.
Apapun, gotta scoot now. A little bit more work to settle, then petang ni ada phone interview with Shane Filan of Westlife. Lama tak dengar khabar meka. Last few times met and lepak with them was I think in 2002 or so when they frequently dropped by KL and Singapore.
Ok lar...until the next entry... take care people, dan jangan tinggalkan puasa. Nak raya dah...
Hari ni nak posting awal. Memang later ada plan so takut update lewat. But also sebab rasa appropriate since everyone in the Raya mood. Semalam kat opis pun siap photo shoot Raya agik melibatkan kami semua for group photo tenaga kerja tempat keja. Belilah paper Raya kang tengok muka aku yang terselit kalao nak. Heh...matilah setakat celah celah tuh pun nak hebahkan.
Saja je...
Also since tomorrow dah start school holidays, and everyone will probably start heading back esok gak, it will be the only opportunity you get to view it sebelum kesibukan nak preparation and all. Kan?
And also because I promised I would upload it as soon as possible.
So here it is, video khas aku buat, memaparkan pelbagai ragam beberapa (ramai wo...bukan beberapa lagi) ketika memberi ucapan Hari Raya mereka.
I shot this video masa kami berbuka puasa kat wrap event tuk Marhaban hari tu. Dalam kelam kabut meka nak prepare turun naik stage malam tu gak, riuh rendah suasana belakang pentas. That's why video ni edited. Kalau nak full, pening nak layan!!!
Ngan si Zahid tak habis habis gelak.. si Mawi yang wat ucapan tak dengar then tetiba menjerit, and Heliza yang tak henti cakap. It was so much fun, I definitely will make more of these kinds of video.
Peminat Shawal, look out for the tooth!
And jangan lupa ada penampilan baru, Al-Jannah. Siapa mereka? Nak tau kena tengok video. I think you guys will love it.
Who's in it? Apart from who I mention, of course. Let's see. Ada Heliza, Mila, Farah, Idayu, Akma, Edlin, Nora, Zila, Zahid, Mawi, Haziq, Shawal, Dafi, Farish, Afiq, Fitri, Aswad dan juga Ebi. Farish is the only non Akademi Fantasia personality tapi tak apalah. Sekali harung jer. So apa lagi, selamat menonton video yang biasa jer nih, and guys, hope it's not to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin kepada yang dicarut, tercarut or even mencarut. Leh? Aku akan continue blogging everyday as usual, so drop by anytime kalau da bosan stuffing diri ngan rendang and ketupat and other things. Drive safe for those yang travelling!
Diakibatkan kepenatan, semalam lepas acara berbuka dengan Ebi dan Ebi FC, terus tak ada masa nak update. Bukan apa, masa balik dengan Juan yang tumpang aku, tayar keta lak pancit. It was just a couple of hundred of metres aku da perasan, tapi sebab hujan lebat, couldn't do much about it. Luckily there was a Petronas just a few more hundred metres ahead, so force movement ke sana before got it changed, which was easier said than done.
Dak Petronas mai tolong, sorang tuh ok la. Even though he broke my cross iron masa pijak nak bukak screw tayar tu. Dua lagik pekerja dari Bangladesh yang merapu jer, so much so they looked like silent movie actors ngan aksi ala slapstick.
Together with the other guy, they could have made a Petronas combo of Larry, Curly and Moe forming the Three Stooges, except it wasn't that funny with a busted tyre and being drenched. Got if fixed in the end, gave them tips because they willingly helped me (though they did get me irritated) and was on the way.
Met Boo and friend and we had a drink in Hartamas. Dropped Juan back to his car, and then popped over to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman nak Raya window shopping gituh. Didn't buy anything. Nanti tunggu meka slash prices lagi sebelum Raya aku borong. Not like I'm going anywhere, so takper.
Aku kalau Raya ni ke mana mana pun, aku first day baru gerak, so ok lar. Malam Raya leh gi beli barang agik.
Tahun ni ingat nak ke Melaka, drop by rumah Sahri, and together ziarah kubur arwah Riz. Then can beraya ngan adik angkat aku dan family dia kat sana. Kalau kesempatan ke Kulai kot beraya kat rumah botak.
Boo balik kampung ke Skudai, so leh drop by pun. Heh...alasan sangat kan.
Anyways, balik pada aktiviti semalam.
Seronok gak gathering buka puasa Ebi FC.kat Kelab Darul Ehsan semalam. Ramai yang dapat jumpa. Vern ada sekali, and then ada my mama in kak Fatimah Abu Bakar. So borak memang tak henti lah.
Then ada ramai kenalan dari forums dan aktiviti Akademi Fantasia related, Ramai dapat jumpa even though tak sangka akan jumpa. Ebi is definitely lucky nak have a fan club camni. Bangga sih kalao dapat penyokong kerjaya camni. Hope he doesn't change and does his best as always.
And to Ebi FC, congratulations guy on proving korang memang one of the best in terms of taking care of things.
Siap ada charity auction gituh lelongkan his personal ring, t-shirts and even a dinner date. Leh? All in the name of charity.
Spent time agonising si Hafiz as well sebab dia nak tengok my Heroes downloads, and then spent the night bugging everyone else.
Aku tak amik banyak pics, so ni je kalau korang tunggu sangat nak tengok.
Majlis yang simple tapi meriah.
Peminat yang begitu malu bila ngan Ebi - heh...matilah aku kena carut!.
Tapi yang besh tengok, pesen baru rambut Mila. Arituh kat Marhaban dia pakai tudung so tak nampak. Just got a look at it. Comel gila! Hah, ni some shots of her hair lak. new do for Raya gituh.
How? Suka tak Mila's new look?
Very Posh Beckham-esque look. Not much to talk about. Tadik lak ada preview and interview for Chicago : The Musical which will be staged here in November. West End production katanya. Erm... antara P. Ramlee the musical or Chicago? I probably will go for both, tapi tak sabar nak tengok Chicago. Tadik jumpa si Lisa yang akan mainkan watak Velma. She did a couple of tunes and all.
Malam lak buka puasa ngan ntv7. And then balik tidur sebab kepenantan sebelum sahur kat Shah Alam saja ngan Boo ngan member dia. Aduh...ok lar....tomorrow ada something special.
As the holidays draw closer semaking horror nak fuill the pages. Damn! Tapi hari ni tak horrific Monday sangat sebab aku semalam tidur awal siot. Dalam 11 lebih da KO dah! Cam susah nak caya sangat. These days, tuk aku, 11pm and thereabouts is WAY too early to sleep.
But I guess age changes everything, and even though I spent a good part of the weekend gathering adequate sleep, somehow, cam tak cukup jer sentiasa, so woke up refreshed this morning before 7am.
Puas siot!!! Tapi aku nak bangun pun malas. Rasa cam nak lelap kan mata second round jer, tapi aku tau if I do that memang parah lah lematnya, so I hauled ass immediately and got out of bed. Was in the office before 9am (would have been in earlier if not for the b***hass traffic which was crawling everywhere. Thank God for expensive highways and outrageous tolls that most wouldn't take from my home to the office, and thank heavens for SmartTag sebab dapat speed up because of that.
Spent over six hours with my ass parked in of my computer, as well as depan laptop in dark corners here and there to avoid distraction abnd disturbance.
Ended up completing one cover and one news story so puas gak.
Tengah abihkan some extra work for my stock pile, tetiba ada orang masuk at the side entrace.
Lor, Liza, Baha dan...Mawi?
Eh, dak botak ni tak balik Sabah tuk sambung shooting Aduh Saliha rupanya. Apparently dia kata dia da technically 'on leave' dah. Khamis ni balik kampung.
Amik ko, sempat posing kat meja aku sat. Heh... oh by the way, sapa yang da tengok video coin bite tuh, tunggu Mawi lak buat dalam show dia ek. Tengah jadik supplier dia tuk barang magic lak ni.
Amacam? Semak tak meja aku? Bagik can lar... orang tengah sibuk. Kang settle aku clear lar jap agik. Erm... don't ask what Mawi likes most about my desk. Korang mai usha sendiri kalau ada peluang.
Rupanya dak botak singgah ngan Liza dan Baha sebab nak kirim buah tangan to wish raya gituh! Awwww... so sweet! Kira thoughtful siot.
Walaupun aku non Muslim, don't feel treated different langsung or made to feel that way by anyone.
Ni apa yang botak hantar, and tuh ada card si Heliza bagik smalam sekali. Meja aku banyak gak kad Raya kengkawan hantar...bertimbun siot. Rasa cam aku bebetul celebrate Raya lak (sedih lak takde kampung nak go back to - kalau sedih sangat ke Parit Buntar je la rumah kuarga angkat).
So in a year, I celebrate Chinese New year (dah nama pun Chinese kan...cultural celebration), Christmas (religious lak) and Aidilfitri (pas berpuasa ampir sebulan - kurang berapa hari akibat hari hari stress isap rokok for relief).
The beauty of being Malaysian!
Ok lar guys. It's 5pm by the time I complete this entry, nak pop back rumah Bangsar sebelum ke majlis berbuka puasa Ebi FC malam ni. Be posting later tonight with more pics, and hopefully the Raya video I promised. Selamat berbuka pada semua...
