Sorry la guys update lambat. Tadik ada birthday celebration tuk Wan, drummer tuk 6ixth Sense - and of course ahli Kelab Pelita - matlah geng mamak!
Anyway, didn't feel well today. Slowly recovering, and gaining back my voice yang hilang dua tiga hari nih. Diam je hari ni, refuse nak bercakap. Malas nak croak like a frog masa concert, so decided to rest it. Tahan tak isap rokok seharian. Arghh!! Belah malam baru izinkan diri sendiri the luxury of having a few smokes.
Memula ingat tanak kuar langsung, even for the rehearsal. But sebab bebudak da call kang kata apa lak aku besday orang pun tak gi.
But yang best nya, they held it in a nightspot yang baru ala ala Laundry Bar sikit (minus kebingitan). Lokasi, kat Caps Square. Aku terkejut area baru nih.
Tak jalan da berapa lama, haper pon tatau. Besau gak tempat nih. It's like The Curve nya area, but a lot of spots masih lom bukak.
Yang besh nya, tengah lepak layan borak semua, bebudak 6ixth Sense dipaksa wat show free. Heh... best best....
Meanwhile watching, ada orang tegur aku. Rupa-rupanya, Bibiana, Francessca Peter's sister. Fran ada skali ngan Salamiah Hassan sebab layan the resident singer, Adi (ni Adi lain - dak Klang, member aku gak). Didn't spent too long and adjourned as usual to Pelita pastuh.
Malam ni malas nak komen pasal Konsert esok. Berdebar sangat. Tatau la camna reaksi aku kang, sebab I have no damn idea who is going to get eliminated tonight.
Korang layan je pics ni ek. Kang aku upload video meka wat show skali.
And those who do, are probably fanatics who are overzealously defending him (sigh.. again) OR those who saja nak carik pasal budak tuh with every move of his analysed.
For me la... camni je. Amik la yang positif. Selama ni orang kata Hafiz dipulaukan. For me, smalam was actually a touching scene. Hafiz was at his wits end, and bebudak lain cam Yazid, Aril dan Akim were quick to be there for him.
Sapa kata bebudak ni pentingkan diri sendiri? Or that they can't accept each other's differences. It took time, but I think all of them realise what many of us do too... that you can't pick who you're related to. Amik ko! Lawak bangang.
You know what I mean, right? I mean, we are all different, and it's just an adjustment phase jerk. So there'll be a little drama along the way. Don't we all just love that. As long as, by the end of the day, they realise they're all in the same boat, and to some extent, in a competition even, they need to look out for each other.
Amik ko! Terkejut tak aku positif sangat. Pasnih ada lagik yang kutuk aku sell out gila sebab tak carot, padahal nak puji lak. Matilah ko!
Anyway... hari ni sempat check in with the kids (walaopon sora aku hacus - matilah bangun pagi tadik totally no voice at all - petang baru leh come up with this breathy sound).
Not worried about most of them. Hafiz seems lebih relaxed about his song, though he still has issues with over-focusing. Yerlah... dia ni over think things sometimes. So akibatnya, a little bit of distraction je, his train of thought derails. But he's working on that which is good to know.
Only person worried about is Aishah. Baru aku paham kenapa it irks the teachers that she holds back on what she plans to do. When she does that, you have no idea whether she's gotten it or not, and can't help her.
Lagu Flora Cinta dia suka, and dia mampu bawa. But with the new arrangement by Acis, which goes into a funkier groove, she seems to get lost in it. Dia promise to work on that.
Aril kata bab Nakal, dia nak work out something special for his performance. Yazid lak is getting his sebutan betul bit by bit. Isma doesn't seem to have any problems, don't know how everything translates on stage though.
And Claudia? I love what she's doing for her performance. Tengok je la nanti. Not sure if she's going to do it for the concert sebab nak test power kat sound check malam ni.
This concert is going to be so great kalao the kids can work out their little kinks in their performances.
Am thinking about going to the full dress rehearsal esok. Usually don't even want to know about how it goes on then, sebab nak the full on surprise masa showtime. Tapi worried. Smakin risau nak datang kat final nih.

Ok la.. hari ni tak banyak nak meroyan. Badan aku ni menjerit mintak rehat.
Aiyo... tua-tua nih (tua la gak umo nak masuk 33 nih), susah tol nak menghapal. Daya ingatan da mula nan ado katanya. Yeap... still working on the Malique and Najwa tune - Kau Yang Punya. Merasalah! Cam aku lak yang nak perform.
Hari ni kesibukan yang amat nak abihkan kerja yang tersadai. After done, rushed to the Akademi.
Walaopon rasa nak absent kan diri, tak sanggup sebenarnya (walaopon sora garau feeling cam sex maniac time call orang kat phone ngan this breathy, husky sound).
Cabaran demi cabaran... at this point, aku bukan sahaja yakin musim Akademi Fantasia ni as good as the best season in musim kedua, I now believe that they have surpassed even that.
Why do I say that? In terms of personality, memang meka cam bebudak kuarga Fantasia musim kedua. Colourful, different... and REAL! Not hamming it up for the cameras.
In terms of talent, they're also quite a diverse range of voices, with very different influences.
What I mean when I say they may have just become the BEST season of Akademi Fantasia ever, is simply due to the fact that I cannot imagine anyone of them leaving the show on Saturday after the concert.
Seriously, soalan aku paling kerap dapat - is who will leave this week.
And HONESTLY!!!! I have no answer. Voting trends are crazy! It's all over the place. Anyone can go at the last minute, and I'm not joking.
Talent wise, and attitude wise, I think all the kids dapat ciom bau final da, so they're all doubling their efforts, and nearly losing their sanity trying to beat themselves.
Yes, the competition bukan lagi against each other. I'm glad the kids are holding on to what I told them in my session, two weeks ago, that the real competition is THEIR OWN SELVES!
Why do I say that? Because if they screw up on stage... no one caused them to do that. The blame can only be on them, no matter what.
It doesn't matter how high or low their performance is in comparison to the others. They have to better their own performance, not for the sake of the show, but for the sake of justifying the amount of money fans are pouring into the AFUNDI for them, sebagai biasiswa untuk mereka teruskan lagi pengajian mereka untuk lagi seminggu.

In terms of ratings, the show is consistently (tak silap ek, aku takde figures, ni dapat verbal reports je) over a million viewers for the concert alone, dan peaking at 500,000 for the Diari. Amik ko!!!
And sapa berani kata Akademi Fantasia da hilang sengat?
In terms of AFUNDI, I am glad to say that musim keenam, according to what I've heard, has beaten musim Akademi Fantasia keempat, kelima dan keenam so far at this point. In fact, in terms of figures, it's now hot on the tails of musim ketiga.
So takyah ok yang negatif tu kata Astro nak wat AFMASUK demi nak SMS lagik.
And also pada mereka yang masih tak paham kenapa kekadang korang AFUNDI, AFUNDI dan AFUNDI tapi peratusan tak berganjak... it's because even 1% is something like beribu (belasan, puluh - depending on when you vote sebab time Konsert the numbers da swell maximum!)
But are the kids justifying it? Hell yeah!
Semua kerja keras gila.
Tapi hari ni spent more time ngan Hafiz to work on memorising the lyrics. Dia da hapal verse one and two more or less. Needs some final touch up, and abihkan verse three.
He also needs to work on what parts to stress on in the lyrics sikit agik.
Yazid seems to be doing fine so far, and he seems to be keeping tabs on bab sebutan dia.
Aishah is dealing with her performance routine for Flora Cinta, while Claudia seems to be all out on When Ur Gone.
Aril skang putting his personal touches on Nakal and Akim nampaknya ready tuk take on Situasi.
Aiyo... panassss.. panassss... panasssssss!!! It's scary how this week's concert will go. I know I'm going to cry sangat no matter who goes. Damn!
Apapon, comic relief sikit, layan bebudak wat choreography tuk lagu bonus. The boys kelakar siot masa Fiona, and the girls worked on their routine for Untukmu, which is a tribute to Feminin. Merasalah aku dok gelak.. nostalgia hawau!! Teringat zaman sekolah dulu.
It's going to be aa hard couple of days before the concert, but hoping for the best.
Esok pening lak banyak kena wat. Pagi pagi da kena ke Astro. Nak temankan Faz for something. Apa dia? Tunggu je!!! You'll know soon!
Ok then on to the story. Ni panjang lebar sikit nak cita nak redakan semua fans para pelajar Akademi Fantasia (though I doubt I can please everyone)
Sebelom apa-apa, I nak ucap selamat harijadi pada my dad, yang menyambut his 67th birthday. Semoga Tuhan panjangkan umur dia, and give him continued strength to be my inspiration. And mintak mintak satu hari nanti, I will be able to bebetul balas jasa dia membesarkan aku (even though it will never fully repay him for the things he has done for me through the years) Dapat gak hari ni aku spend time ngan orang tua aku keduanya, walaopon tak banyak masa aku dapat luangkan kerana kena rush gi kerja.
Anyway, moving on balik bab Akademi.
First, aku nak mintak maap pada GENUINE fans Hafiz, kerana allowed myself to be provoked by some people who so called claimed to be fans tapi sebenarnya nak timbulkan kekacauan.
Mana taknya... perangai meka yang bagi orang meluat, takes away the credit from the REAL fans who support him no matter what.
Hari ni, walaopon aku ilang suara akibat sakit tekak (stakat saki baki sora serak-serak) aku nekad nak jumpa bebudak pasal bab lagu-lagu.
All of the kids are dealing with their own problems with their assignments and meka bekerja keras dengan tenaga pengajar to overcome their problems.
Bermula dengan Isma, sat down and spent some time with her. Masaalah dia, tuk dia, dia nak lari dari orang kata dia masih lenggok Siti etc. Kesian gak kekadang, tapi the only thing I could say to her is perbanyakkan influence dia. Dengar agik banyak style penyanyi lain to perkembangkan her abilities to be a musical chameleon. Finding your own unique style is something even the most bagus of singers find difficult, and usually bears fruit only lepas bertahun proses sebagai artis tuk temui - if they're not among those lucky to begin with their own sound.
Ran through Tak Mungkin Kerna Sayang by Alyah with her and asked her to refer to Cikgu Siti and Cikgu Syafie to find more ways to develop her presentation sebab tu expertise meka.
Then Aishah. Flora Cinta is one of the songs aku bebetul suka cause it is an 'evergreen' tune that is underrated, and I recommended pada production. Tak sangka lak Aishah dapat. And I think she can carry it off. But my warning to her was to understand the song for what it's about, and come up with her own unique rendition and take of the tune, musically, and also the lyrical interpretation of it.
Claudia had more to talk to me about. When Ur Gone by Avril Lavigne may be up her street, but kerisauan timbul she may end up sounding like a club singer. So stress on understanding and emotional placement in delivery penting. But aku glad before aku masuk, Cikgu Ida had another great run of her class to get the kids in touch with their emotions, and pull that out for the delivery of their songs.
And aku hanya leh cakap, Claudia is pulling out something very personal for her song to be able to deliver it with a mix of sadness, regret and angst.
On to the boys. Aril talked to me about Nakal by Gigi. Vocally he has to work to brush up to keep the momentum of his development. At the same time, he has to be able to bring his attitude out in the performance without allowing it to overshadow the number.
Yazid practise sebutan ngan aku, and I pointed out key problem areas in his speech. Cikgu Ida and the Principal, Datin Seri Tiara had a run through I believe and actually dia pening nak absorb it all. Biasalah. Lagu tu memang dia tau dan da hapal pon. So nak undo balik apa dia tau, susah, sebab dia keep lapsing back (by habit) into what he already knows. Worked out a quick formula tuk dia remember things and also advised him on performance for ideas on how to break out of his shell sebab dia nak masuk tuk one on one session with Cikgu Aris tuk stage presentation and choreography masa tuh. Kekadang lagu familiar tuh, susah gak kalao dapat, especially when you find out you've been singing it wrong.
Akim wat Bunkface nya Situasi aku rasa paling takde masaalah, sebab dia nampak focused gila and is working very hard on making the song his own.
Hafiz meanwhile was another issue. Sebab dia da in the Akademi for seven weeks now (plus on top of that musical camp masa register masuk and all for another week or two plus), he is not very familiar with Kau Yang Punya by Malique and Najwa.
Dia pun agree that it's a beautiful song, but dia susah nak memorise all three verses yang panjang lebar.
Well, especially since the song is not his forte, susah when dia set up a wall, thinking he CAN'T do it.
But like to Hafiz fans out there, I said the same thing. Which is, this is a challenge. We all know Hafiz can sing, and benda ni, dia leh wat kalao dia look at it positively.
Gave him a system to memorise the lyrics, based on breakdown, as well as lyrical flow and storyline.
It appeared to work. Hafiz got to work immediately to work on the delivery of the song and promised that he would prove those who might think he can't do it, that he can. Fighting spirit gituh.
Beginning tomorrow, I myself akan hapal lagu tuh (dalam dua hari tuh) so can help with to deal with the flow and groove of the tune (orang tua - tua ke???!!! - pun akan cuba hapal) when I have my next sessions every evening until the end of the week.
So to fans of Hafiz yang worried, relax. He can do it. To other fans of the other pelajar, don't worry, they can do it.
Da minggu ketujuh. The final is in sight.
Your responsibility now is to AFUNDI, not pick on details.
Keep them in, so they have a chance to prove themselves, no matter the challenge. Pada mereka yang merungut lebih tuh, I just say, just watch this Saturday for the performance.
Principal sendiri cam terasa hari ini dengan segala tohmahan dan kritikan dan so-called 'open letter' yang disebarkan. Apa-apa je lah. Kesian lak. Tenaga pengajar buat yang bersungguh, ada je yang nak persoalkan tanggungjawab yang diamanahkan pada mereka.
Entah-entah, ni yang jenis kalao hantar anak gi sekolah, marah atau tegur cikgu mengenai jenis soalan peperiksaan yang boleh dikemukakan kot.
Apapon, have faith in the tenaga pengajar for the real fans of Akademi Fantasia. In the Principal, in Cikgu Siti Hajar, Cikgu Syafie, Cikgu Aris, Cikgu Ida dan Cikgu Acis. Have faith that this Saturday nya performance, the kids will prove they're going to kick some major rear!

Abih sesi santai ngan bebudak - balik jap sebab lari original plan nak tengok movie ngan Faz dan Jue cause it was late. Then rushed to Bangsar lepak McD sebab janji ngan Juan dan bebudak 6ixth Sense nak lepak, apart from Obri, Qhaud, Sidi and wife yang nak jumpa.

Tuh dia. Qhaud keletihan gaban! Mata pon da layu semacam... kesian lak. Si Obri nya keja la jadik setan. Tapi memasing memang nak lepak. It was good spending time with the boys, and I can share my nasihat ngan meka.

Matilah! hanya kerana playlist berbekalkan illegal download, jangan nak feeling kata lagu ni sampah ok! Kang menang AIM nak kata Hafiz yang popularkan. Ni la maksud aku bila kata kekadang budak dalam tu ok, peminat lak yang akan akibatkan kejatuhan dengan perangai. Whatever it is, I'm sure, Hafiz, and all the kids for that, will do their assignments great sebab honestly, minggu ni aku paling suka songlist. Just because YOU have never heard of the song, or YOU don't like it, or YOU think it's not popular, doesn't mean the kids can't do it.
Semalam sebenarnya nak edit bagai tapi takde masa. Sebelom masuk Akademi tuk kelas, singgah kat SACC Mall. Lepak ngan Faz dan Jue yang skali ngan Diana hanging out sana, pas she finished recording tuk hostlinks for Anak Wayang, yang jalankan the last of the auditions.
Sambil lepak tuh, Zamarul mai ngan kawan and joined up. Seronok gak. Sempat la snappy pic couple yang akan berumahtangga. Heh... one of the first nak dapat invite. Sayang tak dapat gi sebab clash ngan final Akademi Fantasia nanti.
Nangis la camnih. Aduh... tapi kerja tetap kerja.

As far as I know, ni kali pertama orang vlog review TV show kat sini . kalao omputeh biasa la. Kalao sini tak lak orang wat, so kita saja je nak set a first. Setakat suka-suka. Yang pentingnya hope you guys enjoy it sebab laptop aku problem, nak wat pun berapa lam sebab ada je masaalah hang. Kalo rasa hazab, matilah korang takyah tengok. Heh!
